*after a few minutes of scrolling through Instagram, Colby finally arrived with the Chinese food. you put your phone down and lifted yourself up to a better seating position*

Y/n: you finally decide to come with the food.

Colby: yeah, sorry about that. for some reason there was a lot of people at this Chinese place and the line was massive. sorry it took so long.

Y/n: that's ok

*Colby dragged a spare table and brought it closer to the bed. he then sat in the chair behind him and started laying out the options of food that he bought.*

Colby: I didn't know want you wanted, so I got I bit of everything.

*You scanned your eyes from one side of the small table to the other. you then see your favourite Chinese food. Honey soy chicken. you quickly grabbed the chicken with rice and started eating. you both sat in a silence that you both were comfortable with because you were eating. after you both finished eating, Colby grabbed all the rubbish and but it in the trash can.*

Colby: it's getting late. we should get some rest.

*you looked at your phone to see 12:38 am shine bright across the lock screen of your phone.*

Y/n: yeah, ok

*Colby walked over to the light switch as you ajusted the bed so you could sleep as comfortable as possible. Once Colby got to the light switch, he turned around*

Colby: can I turn them off?

Y/n: mhm

*You simply responded. Colby turned off the lights and stumbled his way over to the chair next to my bed and sat down. you laid on the hospital bed staring at the ceiling felling lost and that something was out of place. you knew exactly what was wrong.*

Y/n: Colby?

Colby: mmm.

Y/n: Can you come sleep with me up here?

Colby: sure

*Colby said getting up from the chair and making his way to the bed. you shuffled over to make room for Colby to lay next to you. he slowly got into the bed with you and once he did he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer to him making sure he wasn't going to hurt you. you rested your head on Colby's chest and started to fall asleep to the sound of his heart beat. it didn't take long till you felt yourself fall into a deep, deep sleep, but just before you drifted off you heard Colby whisper something.*
