Colby: because I took you to the place and I didn't protect you or believe you when you heard the first time you said something.
*you looked at Colby and gave him a sad smile*
Y/n: It wouldn't be your fault. just because you took me there or didn't believe me. It wasn't anyone's fault besides that sicko in the woods. don't worry about it, okay?
Colby: okay.
*Colby said with a smile. you just laid in the hospital bed staring into Colby's astonishing ocean blue eyes. they were still a little puffy and pink, but they were still the amazing blue that you absolutely love. after a while of just staring into each other's eyes in silence, Colby spoke*
Colby: the other's are really worried and want to see you. do you want to see them now?
Y/n: yes please.
*Colby stood up from the chair and gave you a kiss on your forehead before leaving the room. after a little, Colby came back in with Corey, Tara, Sam, Devyn, Kat and Jake. When they entered the room, they all ran straight to you and engulfed you in a massive group hug*
Devyn: are you okay?
Y/n: yeah, I'm fine now.
Tara: okay good. we don't want an injured y/n on Christmas do we?
Everyone: nooo.
*Everyone said in unison slowly. after that you all burst out laughing. after you calmed down, you noticed your mom coming in the room. you looked at her and saw that her eyes were a little red and instantly you knew she was crying*
Y/n: hey guys, can I be alone with my mom?
*Everyone nodded and left the room as your mom walked closer to you, and it was just you and your mom left in the room alone. it was silent for a minute until your mom just broke down crying*

Y/n: hey, hey. come here
*you said opening your arms wide. your mom just fell in your arms crying. you both stayed like that for a while till your mom calmed down and pulled away from the hug*
Mom: I thought I was going to lose you. I wouldn't be able to live the rest of my life knowing that I lost my husband and my daughter.
*your mom said starting to tear up again. you started tearing up as well. you quickly wiped them away and looked at your mom in her eyes*
Y/n: did you think I wasn't strong enough and hold on?
*you said chuckling trying to lighten the mood. It worked. your mom chuckled as well and wiped the tears that fell away. after talking for a while the nurse came back in the room with everyone else*
Nurse: I'm so sorry but visiting hours are over, but I will let one other person stay with you
*you looked at your mom and gave her a sad smile and she nodded with a sad smile in response knowing exactly what I was thinking. she stood up and planted a kiss on my forehead and walked to the group. you then looked at Colby with a smile and everyone else left knowing that you wanted Colby to stay. after everyone left, Colby walked over to the chair next to the bed and sat down*
Nurse: you are able to now. you can choose between the hospitals food or, your boyfriend can go down to the plaza around the corner and grab some food.
*I looked at Colby and he nodded*
Y/n: Colby can go get me food.
Nurse: okay, good choice. the food here is bad anyway. your lucky that the doctors are letting you have other food.
*the nurse gave you a smile and walked out. Colby then got up and gave you a peck on the lips*
Colby: so, what are you wanting to eat?
Y/n: some Chinese, please
Colby: okay, I'll be back soon.
*Colby said walking out of the room leaving you alone in silence. you grabbed your phone from the table next to the bed and scrolled through Instagram waiting for Colby to come back.*

El's Revenge
“Revenge is not for the dead- we, as the living, take revenge to relieve the burden we feel,” I whispered into the air. “Salvation for the people who suffered because of you,” I watched as the city burned in the flames. “Salvation for the people like me, who believed in the proclaimed heroes when in reality they were the devils.” I smiled faintly as the ‘holy land’ of those ‘saints’ was destroyed. I heard rustling sounds as Charlotte came to stand next to me, grabbing my hand. “El, are we the bad guys?” If I was still the same as I was before, I might’ve broken down and started crying. Now, it was different. “A villain is just another victim. They cry and mourn, it’s just that no one heard, leading them into madness. It’s one of the reasons why we know the most, but care the least.” I took a deep breath. “We may be the bad guys in other peoples’ eyes, but in my story, we’re the heroes.” Charlotte took in my words for a while and pondered, before nodding in agreement. “As children, we loved the heroes, as adults we understand the villains.” I looked at her and bonked her on the head, earning an angry glare from her. “Hey! You’re barely an adult yourself you know,” she grumbled. I laughed and ruffled her hair, before countering her. “At least I’m not 12. You can’t even be considered a teenager at that age.” After that, we silently watched the flames ravage the land, before leaving.
