*You turned your phone off and put it back in your pocket and waited for Colby. After a few minutes of waiting you saw Colby walk up to you.*

Colby: thank you so much for meeting with me. Wait, when did you get a dog?

Y/n: I found her at the park last night. Now explain yourself

*You said in an annoyed tone. You look up and met Colby's eyes. They were pink and a little puffy.*

Colby: so after you left the room I went downstairs to look for you and in that process a girl named Shea from our school came up to me and started kissing me. I pushed her off of me quickly and said that I had a girlfriend, but she didn't listen and she kissed me again but this time I couldn't push her off. That's when she started pushing me out to the backyard. I swear on my life that I didn't want that to happen. I love you so much. Please forgive me.

*You believed Colby. You placed your hand on Colby's cheek and gave him a weak smile because you were about to cry. You were mad at yourself for not trusting Colby.*

*Colby leaned in and kissed you softly on the lips. He then pulled away and gave you a genuine smile, showing you that he was happy*

Colby: yes. All night. I was so mad at myself for letting that happen.

Y/n: don't be. The only person that should be mad is me. I'm mad at myself for not trusting you. I'm sorry.

Colby: it's ok. Anyway, why were you at the park last night?

Y/n: I ran to a different park. A park that my dad always took me too. I was crying and Poppy came up to me so I took her home.

*There were a few beats of silence before Colby spoke*

*You leaned in and kissed Colby on the cheek and then stood up*
