《Kansas Kids (Editing)》Chapter 9

Truth or dare has been going on for a few minutes now, with everyone at least tipsy when it came to Xepher's turn.
"Y/n!" Xepher calls out with a smile.
"Dare." I say already knowing my answer to the game. I had been picking truth all my other turns and am starting to get bored.
"hmm? I dare you to... make out with Colby." Xepher thinks before concluding her sentence, receiving several different reactions from everyone in the circle.
I turn my head to look over at Colby sitting next to me, who was already looking at me with a devious smile. I smile back before I get on to my knees before placing myself in his lap with my legs on either side of his body. with my arms wrapped around Colby's neck and his hands on my waist, I waist no time before leaning in and connecting my lips with his. as our lips danced, my whole body felt like it was in a trance, Colby's trance. The kiss started more gently but didn't take long until it became desperate and passionate. I was so into the kiss that the music and everyone cheering became distant background noise until Jake's voice rang through my ears.
"TIMES UP BROTHERS!" and we pull away and I get off of his lap, returning to my spot on the floor next to Colby.
why did it have to end.
I think to myself as the tingle in my lips lingered, as well as the taste of the alcohol Colby was drunk on.
"my go. Corey! truth or dare?" I say snapping back to reality after feeling everyones eyes on me as they waited for my pick of person.
"Dare brotha!" Corey yelled across the circle.

I thought for a minute before concluding on the pool outside which was probably freezing cold.
"I dare you to pick someone in this room to jump into the pool with you." I say with a smile.
"Colby! you're coming with me." Corey finalised after looking around the circle.
"Why me!?" Colby asks with a nervous laugh as Corey and him stand up before everyone followed their lead.
"because why not bro." Corey says laughing as the two boys lead the way with everyone following close in suit.
"Fine." Colby said with a sigh as we all walked outside.
The two started to take their shirts off, but what my eyes were drawn to were Colby's toned torso.
"Like what you see baby?" Colby said just above a whisper as he stepped closer to me, the boy looking down at me.
I hadn't noticed that I was staring until Colby mentioned it, my cheeks heating up as I looked away with an eye roll as a cover up.
"I've seen better." I say with a small laugh as I look back up at his entrancing blue eyes.
that was a lie.
"Ouch." Colby said in a fake, hurt way, placing his hand on his heart before a smile broke out onto both our faces.
I roll my eyes again with a slight scoff before Corey called him over. The two jump in, who were then followed by the rest of the sweat, drunk teenagers. a few decided not to get in, like Devyn; who was going on a date with Corey on Friday, and I who sat on the edge of the pool with our feet in the water.
"c'mon baby, join me in the water." Colby says, slowly making his way over to where I was.
"No, I think I'm good." I laugh as I swing my legs in the water.
"c'mon Devyn and y/n everyone else is in." Corey says not too far behind Colby.
Colby and Corey then looked at each other and I could see when the same idea came to the two boys as smirks plastered their face as they came closer.
"NOOOO!" Devyn and I both scream as we are then pulled into the water by the two boys.
