Taehyung felt like someone had dropped scorching hot water on him as he sat in Yoongi's living room, not believing what he was hearing.
"No, you're lying. This is a joke, right? Please tell me this is all a sick joke!" Taehyung's breathing became heavy as the realization of Yoongi's words set in.
When no one responded he felt the first tear fall as Jungkook squeezed his hand.
"I'm sorry." Jungkook whispered softly.
And it shouldn't be so hard for him to accept it, it wasn't like his father was the definition of perfect.
He wasn't, by any means, father of the year.
He was rude and full of hate, constantly telling Taehyung how much of a bad son he was.
So the idea that his father was part of a group that hated homosexuals like himself and made it his purpose to hurt them, filled him with utter sadness.
"How?" He croaked out finally, voice so small and full of sadness.
"It's the church." Yoongi spoke, lacing his fingers with Jimin's.
"No, the church would never do that-"
"But the pastor would. And its not just him, its other pastors from neighboring towns all coming together."
Taehyung was staring straight ahead blankly, tears streaming down his face.
"Do you remember the day the pastor wanted me to confess, right before lent?" Jimin croaked out, nose stuffy.
Taehyung turned to look at him before nodding his head, remembering how his father had insisted he ask the boy.
"He kept asking me if there was anything I wanted to say, if anything was on my mind that I thought was a sin. That God needed me to confess whatever it was... I never told him. I never told him because I don't think it's a sin anymore. I don't think it's wrong, what I feel."

Jimin had hot tears rolling down his cheeks as Taehyung cried harder, unable to comprehend all of the information thrown at him.
The room was silent as they gave Taehyung time to process the information.
"Where does he take them?" His voice was small as he whispered.
Yoongi and Jungkook looked at each other before Yoongi spoke up, "We don't know exactly where the place is, just that it's near the outskirts of town, somewhere hidden in the woods."
"Namjoon-hyung wouldn't tell us, said he didn't want us to get involved." Jungkook murmured.
"Get involved? There are people being treated there as we speak. They want to take Jimin away, how could we not get involved?" Taehyung raised his voice slightly, disgust dripping from his tone.
"I tried to ask Namjoon the night he came to us but he wouldn't say. All the letters he sent me have no return address, I couldn't get anything out of him." Yoongi spoke firmly.
"What about Hoseok? Could he know?" Taehyung said suddenly.
"No, I mean-"
Yoongi paused, brows furrowed as he recalled how Namjoon left his house that morning claiming that he was going to sneak into his house to get something of his.
He had thought nothing of it, but now he couldn't help but facepalm because Namjoon wouldn't be that stupid to go back home when his parents must have already been contacted about his disappearance.
Perhaps he had gone to see Hoseok one last time.
"Where does he live? We need to talk to him. We need to-" Taehyung began to get up before Jungkook swiftly grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
Taehyung turned to look at him in disbelief, not knowing why they were wasting time when they were after Jimin.
"Taehyung stop. He's not talking to us, what makes you think he'll tell us where it is." Jungkook sighed, making Taehyung shake his head.

"He's not heartless Jungkook. As much as you'd like to think that he doesn't care, he does. He cares more than you're willing to admit because you're so hung up on the fact that he stopped coming around because he was hurt. He was hurt and he needed time. I get why he disliked me, why he didn't want me around you. Did you ever stop to think that perhaps he was just looking out for you because he didn't want to lose you too?"
The room was silent as Jungkook stared at the floor, silent tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Taehyung, he lives just two streets down, first house." Yoongi spoke firmly, voice determined.
"I don't care if you don't want to come, but I'm going. I need answers." Taehyung said as he turned around to walk out the door before a hand grabbed his arm.
"You're not going anywhere without me."
Taehyung was about to protest before Jungkook started leading the way, making him bite his tongue and follow.
When they finally made it to Hoseok's house, Jungkook stood there for a few seconds before finally knocking on the door.
He didn't say anything but Taehyung knew he was nervous.
When Hoseok finally swung the door open, both males stood staring at each other without a word.
Taehyung could see the nostalgia in their eyes before Hoseok slowly turned to look at him, clearly confused.
"What's going on?" He asked roughly.
"Did-Did Hyung come talk to you before he left?" Jungkook spoke up, eyes staring at Hoseok with so much hurt and vulnerability that Taehyung had to look away.
"What? Why are you asking me this now?" Hoseok asked, tone unrecognizable.
"Did he come see you? The morning that he left?" Taehyung asked.
"Yeah, he did." Hoseok spoke slowly, eyes watching Jungkook.
"Did he tell you about the place? The place where they kept him?" Taehyung butted in, watching as Jungkook faced the floor.
Hoseok paused as his eyes softened before he nodded.
"Do you know where it is? Where we can find it?" Taehyung asked again, feeling desperate for answers.
"I do but he said I couldn't tell anyone. He didn't want anyone to find it."
"Please, we need to know. They want to take Jimin away and if we don't do something they'll win." Taehyung pleaded as Hoseok stared at him and then back at Jungkook who had been silent the entire time.
When Hoseok didn't reply and just stared blankly, Jungkook looked up with a glare.
"Forget it, I knew you didn't care about us. You're just a selfish asshole who left us when we needed you. Come on Taehyung, let's go." Jungkook scoffed as he grabbed Taehyung's hand and began leading him away.
"It's off route ninety-one. You'll need to walk about a mile east before you find it." Hoseok spoke loudly, making Jungkook freeze for a second before continuing on.
They hurried back to Yoongi's house before they decided on what to do and the decision was clear.
"911- what is your emergency?"
"I'd like to report the practice of conversion therapy on minors in my town."
