Euphoria.
Thats what it felt like to be kissing Kim Taehyung.
The slight tremble of his lips as Jungkook's lips danced with his. The way he whimpered softly when he slipped his tongue into his mouth, body so willing and pliant.
But not for long.
Jungkook gently molded their lips together, loving the way Taehyung responded to him.
The small smile on his face quickly disappeared when he felt Taehyung's small hands roughly push him away, gasping loudly.
Both boys were breathless as Jungkook stumbled back lightly, clearly shocked.
"Why did you do that? Y-You should not have done that!" Taehyung cried, eyes panicked as he turned and ran through the field.
"Taehyung! Wait!" Jungkook called out, cursing loudly when the boy disappeared from sight.
"Fuck." He breathed as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration.
-
Taehyung ran and ran down the streets, somehow he was able to find his way home. His breathing was labored as he opened the front door, mind still not focused.
"Tae-" his mother called from the kitchen, confused when the boy didn't even look her way.
He walked up to his room, throwing himself on his bed right before the tears fell.
He slowly brought his fingertips up to his lips, memories of Jungkook kissing him flashed through his mind.
Taehyung could still taste him in his mouth, exhaling heavily in despair.
He couldn't deny the amount of butterflies in his stomach, shaking his head to try to get rid of the feeling.
A soft knock on the door startled him lightly as he sniffled.
"Tae? Are you okay baby?" He sighed in relief when he heard his mother's sweet voice on the other side.
"I'm fine." He managed to call out, still not willing to open the door.

"... Okay sweetheart." She replied after a moment, her footsteps retracting soon after.
Taehyung thought he was being quiet as he let out a sob, causing his mother to pause at the sound on her way down the hall.
-
Jungkook was lost in his thoughts as he made his way home, wondering if he should have run after Taehyung.
He grew angry with himself for not being able to control his emotions, and for making Taehyung upset with his actions.
He walked in with his head down, not expecting his mother to be awake that late. After all, it wasn't the first time he had arrived home past one in the morning.
"It's late." She called out from the old couch; their television was on at the lowest volume.
Perhaps it was because little Chanyeol had already gone to bed.
"It is." He croaked out, feeling overwhelmed at the sound of his mother's voice.
She must have noticed the small crack in his voice because she was already up and in front of him, eyes filled with concern.
"Jungkook what's wrong?" She whispered lightly, placing her hand on his shoulder.
That was all it took for jungkook to break down his walls. The feeling of his mothers warm touch after so many years of distance between them felt like heaven.
But he couldn't blame anybody but himself, for pushing his mother away all of his teenage years.
He threw his arms around his mother, shocking her when he pressed his face into her neck like a child.
Her heart broke the second a heart wrenching sob left his lips, causing her own eyes to moisten.
She gently rubbed his back as he cried into her arms, everything just coming down on him.
"Oh Jungkook." She sighed, kissing his hair softly.

They sat down on the couch as his sobs gradually died down, his head resting on her shoulder as she rubbed circles on his back.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She whispered softly.
Jungkook sniffled loudly as he tried to build up the courage to speak.
"... I always pushed you away... Every time you wanted me to go to church with you... There's a reason for that," he paused, hot tears streaming down his cheeks.
He had since sat up, now able to face his mother.
"I like boys mom. I'm gay." He whispered.
He watched through blurry vision as his mother began to cry as well, grabbing his hand in hers and rubbing it softly.
"I know baby. I think I have known for a while now." She admitted, gently caressing his cheek with her other hand.
Jungkook leaned in further into her touch, tears of frustration and relief falling down his face.
"D-Do you still love me?" He whispered shakily, sniffling loudly.
"Sweetheart you're my son. Of course, I still love you. I have loved you since the first second I found out I had you in my stomach. You're still the same person my love. Nothing will ever change that, okay?" She cried reassuringly, making Jungkook nod his head quickly.
"Now what else is bothering you? I can tell there is something else." She encouraged.
"... There is this boy. He-... He's beautiful. I used to think he was like the others, who believe that our side of town is full of bad people. But once I started to get to know him... I started to see why everybody in town was infatuated with him. He sees the good in everyone mom... He saw me."
"And what seems to be the problem now sweetheart?" She asked softly.
"I kissed him. He told me not to, but I did it anyway... I just couldn't help it, not when he was just standing there looking so... Beautiful. I thought I was doing the right thing until he ran away crying. I think I lost him mom." Jungkook sniffled.
"It's the pastor's son, isn't it? Taehyung?" She spoke, startling Jungkook slightly.
"H-How did you know?"
"Chanyeol told me that you were with his catechist when he walked through the door," she smiled lightly.
"He's a wonderful person Jungkook, I don't blame you. But perhaps kissing him wasn't the right move, especially considering how religious he is."
"Do-Do you think...?" Jungkook trailed off.
"I think he might be really confused at the moment. And if he does feel the same way, he might be trying to fight those feelings." She said, unknowingly spitting out the truth.
