《The Phoenix. Poems》Fairy

I saw a fairy under my eyelids,

perched on a branch of my arm.

She was tired of the long journey,

her cheeks lined with ravenous tears.

She sat down quietly, pressed her cheek,

and I have covered her with my hand.

So tiny, vulnerable,

I made a hut for her out of leaves.

Live here, stay with me-

I begged her and asked.

Cause, when I started to think,

that she'd disappear,

I changed myself to her size.

I have become small like her,

and I could be even smaller,

if only she would love me,

I would never need

anything else.
