"I need you to send me the articles to look over before nine am our time. Once we send those out, we need to contact that website the authorities sent us, we'll have to give a response on what was posted. Make sure HYBE doesn't go easy on them. I'll talk to you tomorrow." Alex ended the call with the head of PR at HYBE.

It had been almost a year since she had taken the position as BTS's personal publicist. Already she had traveled across the globe as the members promoted new songs, product contracts, and made special appearances on numerous talk shows. It had been a busy eleven months, and she wouldn't change a thing.

She and Yoongi had been at the lake house for the last week working remotely from the states. They would be staying over the next couple of months while their schedules eased up a bit. The guys were heading over to spend a couple of weeks with them at the lake to catch up and relax. Alex was putting on her hostess hat, and had checked and re-checked the house to make sure everything was ready for their arrival.

He had given her free rein when it was time to order things for the house. She focused on the comfort details like furniture and décor, keeping track of how much she spent so she didn't go overboard. They both had simple tastes when it came to feel of the house, and she was extremely crafty when it came to working on a budget.

Yoongi, on the other hand, had focused on electronics and gadgets. He had a surround sound system installed as well has a home theater put in the lower level. The kitchen had every machine and top of the line brands you could imagine. His studio matched his one at HYBE, and he made sure Alex had the best of everything in her office as well. She felt spoiled, and he wouldn't let her tell him no.

She wrapped up the notes she was working on then finally shut her computer down. They both kept odd hours due to the time difference they worked with, and Yoongi was in full producer mode while he finished up his current project for one of the big U.S. artists. Alex went down the hall to his studio and knocked on the door. "Come in." She walked in and saw him with his headphones around his neck as he watched his screen.

"You hungry?" She walked up behind him and massaged his shoulders. "You need to get up and stretch, you're going to get a headache."

He took his headphones and set them on the desk, then turned his chair around to look up at her. He leaned back and wrapped his legs around hers to pull her to him. She caught herself on the back of his chair as he caught her around her waist, "I could go for a snack." He leaned up and nuzzled her neck as she giggled.

She pushed off the back of the chair and put her hands on her hips, "I meant real food."

He grinned at her, "I know. Yeah, let's go down and make something."

They walked into the kitchen, and Yoongi hopped up on the counter and peeled a tangerine as Alex looked through the fridge and then the pantry. "Chapaguri?"

"That works." He watched her move around the kitchen as she set the water to boil, then opened the packages when it was time to pour the noodles in. "Have I ever told you how sexy you look when you're in the kitchen?" He gave her cocky grin.

She rolled her eyes, "We both know my cooking is sub par compared to yours. You're just saying that because you don't have to cook tonight."

"True," he chuckled, "we'll put Jin and Jungkook on chef duty when they get here tomorrow."

They sat on the counter and ate in silence. Living together part time had turned out to be easier than they both expected. They were both easy going and worked as a team when it came to cooking and chores. They never felt pressured to talk if they didn't need to, but would often fall into deep conversations over a drink as they sat out by the lake or while laying in bed at night. They spent enough time apart working that they didn't feel like they smothered one another. It was the perfect combination for what they both needed.

Alex looked over at Yoongi as they ate. Learning how to love him had been the easiest thing she had ever done. She thought back to all the worries she had in the beginning. They all seemed silly now. Yoongi loved her in all the ways she needed to be loved. They had been existing with empty spaces inside themselves, and together, they completed each other.

________

"Welcome to the lake house!" Alex hugged Jungkook and the others as they arrived the next evening.

"Hyung, this house is awesome!" Jimin looked around with the others as they explored the first level.

"Let me show you the upstairs and your rooms then you can all come back down and we'll have drinks and order pizza." Alex took them upstairs and showed them around then left them to pick their rooms.

Back downstairs, Yoongi was sitting on the couch next to Alex as they waited for the guys. RM came down first, "I love the house, you guys did great." He sat in a recliner and put his hands behind his head.

Alex beamed, "Thank you! I'm pretty in love with it . . . . and him." She put her hand on Yoongi's thigh and smiled over at him.

Hobi came down with Tae and sat on the other couch, "This is so much nicer than staying in a hotel. We should definitely film another season of "In The Soop" here. We could call it "In The Soop: Domesticated"", Hobi broke out in laughter.

"Actually, I've been considering that and have mentioned it to HYBE already." Yoongi got up to grab a drink from the fridge. "They'll have to come in to set up the cameras which will be a bit annoying if they put holes in my walls."

Alex rolled her eyes, "Yes grandpa, we don't want holes in your walls. I'm sure they can figure out a temporary solution for the cameras." She laughed at him. "I can stay over at my family's lake house while you guys are here filming. I'll need to make sure I hide all my stuff away so no one sees anything during the show."

Tae let out a huff, "Aren't you tired of hiding from the public? Why don't you just announce it and be done with it?"

Alex looked over at Yoongi and he shrugged his shoulders, "I've told her whenever she's ready I'll be waiting. She's holding back because of you guys. PR has already had the talk with her about it and they have plans in place for when it's time."

Jimin was on the floor next to Alex. He looked up at her and put his hand on her arm, "Alex, don't worry about us. We've already talked about it. We're good with whatever you decide."

Alex groaned and laid her head back on the couch, "I know, but what do I do, put something out in the paper? "FYI, I'm dating Yoongi, let the haters commence.""

Yoongi shook his head as he laughed, "If we lose some ARMY because we all start dating, then that's their prerogative. Besides, we're not going to announce it in some article. I'll figure out a way to show everyone in style." He gave her a wicked grin as she crinkled her nose at him.

"Fine, whatever you want to do. Just warn me before you do it." The guys sat there smiling at them. They loved their Yoongi and Alex.

________

"Ah, this is the life." Jin was laying on a raft out in the water holding his beer.

Yoongi sat under an umbrella on the dock, "Hyung, the only thing you're missing is a gaming consol."

Jin's head popped up, "Wouldn't that be awesome?"

"You need a bar down here and a grill and then it would be perfect." Jimin was hanging on to the side of his tube as he spun in circles.

Yoongi squinted his eyes as he looked over the water, "Yeah, we're working on that. We wanted to get the inside of the house done first. We'll probably start on the outside before fall comes. Lex wants to get a pool. I don't know why, considering she has an entire lake in her back yard."

Hobi laughed, "Probably for the same reason I prefer a pool over lake water. Nothing scary to bite your toes in a pool." He wiggled his feet in the air.

Yoongi shrugged his shoulders, "If it makes her happy I'm fine with it."

Tae looked at Yoongi with a smirk, "She has you wrapped around her finger."

Yoongi grinned, "She doesn't have to try, I like making her happy."

"We like seeing you happy, hyung." Jungkook sat beside him on the dock and handed him a beer. "Things are good between you still?"

Yoongi nodded, "It's weird. I never thought I'd be able to tolerate having someone around like this."

"Wow, did you just say that?" Jin shook his head.

Yoongi laughed, "I mean, I used to think I wouldn't be able to handle having someone in my space. It was different when we all lived together. It was required, and we made it work. But with Lex . . . . women are just different. But, she's been amazing. She just gets me. We've figured out our flow with work, and at the end of the day when we're together, we make up for lost time. I couldn't have asked for someone better."

"Speaking of the devil." Jimin nodded his head towards the house.

Lex was walking down to the dock to bring them some lunch. "Good afternoon gentleman, how's the water?" She sat the basket down she had brought with her and started setting out the food on the picnic table.

"It's pretty warm actually. Did you get your work done so you can swim with us?" Hobi was climbing the ladder out of the water to come over and sample what she had brought.

"Yep, all done. Not much to do since my clients are currently vacationing with me." She took off her cover up and laid it next to her towel.

Yoongi smacked her butt as she walked by, "Don't want the staff getting lazy."

She slowly turned around to glare at him as he smirked at her, then turned and did a cannonball into the water right in front of him. She came up out of the water to the sound of the guys laughing hysterically. Yoongi was sitting up in his chair soaked. She threw her head back and laughed.

"Oh, you're getting it now." He tossed his hat in the chair and jumped into the water next to her. He grabbed her leg and pulled her under.

________

The following Monday, Jungkook came running down the stairs. "Guys! We were nominated!" He showed his phone to Jin and Alex who were cooking breakfast in the kitchen.

"For what?" Jin read his screen. "Wow, the documentary is nominated for an MTV Movie and Video Award."

Alex's eyes got huge, "Are you serious?"

Jungkook came up to hug her, "Nuna, you helped make it, this must be exciting for you."

"I'm in shock I think. The MTV awards. I've never done anything that's been nominated for an award before." She stirred the waffle batter while she tried to wrap her head around it.

"It's about time." Yoongi walked in and high fived Jungkook then went to place a kiss on Alex's cheek. "You deserve to be recognized, you worked hard for it. You need to call Ji-Hoon, he should be there for the show. Have him come stay with us for a bit until we have to leave for L.A."

Alex nodded her head, "That's a good idea, I'll call him later tonight."

Hobi walked in and grabbed a drink from the fridge. "Did someone say an award show? Time to get sexy for the red carpet." He slid his sunglasses on and gave them a little strut across the kitchen floor.

Alex shook her head and laughed. As the others came down one by one to join them around the table for breakfast, Alex sat back and watched them. She was glad to have them all back together again like this. Her world now included these seven incredible men. Another family to love and care for. They talked and joked as they always did. Sharing their thoughts, passing food to each other. Their bond was special, and it was something many wouldn't experience in their lifetime. She had been chosen to showcase that. The seven of them would always be connected no matter where they went in life. They were brothers. They were a team. They were BTS.
