"Welcome to HA Ha Tanka." Sabrina lead the guys down the trail to the ruins of the castle that once stood on the cliffs overlooking the lake.

"OK, this is cool. Why is it called HA HA Tanka?" Jungkook was walking around the ruins taking pictures.

"The Osage Native Americans called it that. Supposedly it means "laughing waters" in their language because of the natural spring near by. It puts out tons of gallons of fresh water every day." Alex was standing with Yoongi as he looked over the cliff to the lake below. "Isn't it awesome?"

Yoongi nodded his head, "I like how secluded it feels out here. It's quiet."

They followed the trail down to the spring it was named for.

The guys crossed the bridge with Sabrina, taking selfies and exploring the park. Yoongi and Alex leaned out over the rail of the bridge looking down at the water. He looked over at Alex, "Hey." She looked over at him. "Have you ever noticed, we've had some really good moments on bridges?" She tilted her head back and laughed.

"Think about it." He turned to her, "That first night in Tokyo on the Sumida River, then in Fukuoka at the temple." She nodded her head and smiled, "I remember." He took a step toward her, "So let's keep it going." He gave her a wicked grin as he put his hand behind her head and lowered his lips to hers. The kiss was gentle and slow. He tilted his head to change the angle and placed his other hand on her lower back. Alex put her hands on his shoulders to steady herself.

When he pulled away, her eyes were still closed. He chuckled, "There, another great bridge moment." He tapped the tip of her nose with his finger then walked away to catch up with the others. Alex stood there blinking as she tried to regain thought. She smoothed her hair back then took a deep breath and let it out, "Ugh! He is such a tease." She turned on her heal and ran to catch up with him and the others.

Later that night after they had finished dinner, they gathered down at the dock with drinks and decided to try night fishing again. Yoongi stayed up in the house working, so Alex decided to join the rest of the group on the dock. They had music playing lightly in the background as they talked and fished.

Suddenly Alex grabbed Jin's arm, "Jin! Your bobber is going under!" They all sat still and watched as his glow in the dark bobber dipped under the water a few times then suddenly began zig zagging crazily a few inches below the waterline before disappearing. "Lightly yank it to set it, then start reeling it in!"

Jin sat forward in his chair and started to reel the line in. The tip of the pole starting dipping down into the water. "Oh, it's a big one! It better not be a shoe." He continued reeling it in until finally he could see his bobber coming back up through the water, still moving crazily. "There it is!" He stood up and wound the line in the rest of the way until the fish was flopping in the air before he set it down on the dock.

The guys all jumped out of their seats to pat Jin on the back and congratulate him on his catch. "Alex, quick, take my picture or Yoongi won't believe me. She took his picture with the fish and sent it to Yoongi.

Jin was starting to take the fish off the hook when they heard a loud whistle from the house. They looked up to see Yoongi waving his arms in the air and then hold both his thumbs up to congratulate him. Jin waved his arm in the air back at Yoongi smiling as big as he could, holding his fish up.

Sabrina brought the cooler over and emptied the drinks out so Jin could put his fish on ice, "We'll save him for tomorrow. Maybe we can catch more in the morning and make a meal out of it."

Jin laid his fish down on the ice, then they put the fishing gear back in the closet for the night. They headed up to the house while Jin retold the story of his catch, as if they all hadn't just been down there when it happened.

________

The next day was a lazy day. They hung out on the dock and floated on rafts all afternoon, then headed in for an early dinner. Today was Yoongi's turn to cook since they had made a special request for his beef tenderloin sandwiches. They gathered in the living room while Yoongi cooked, with Alex's help.

"Lex, I need the cabbage, ketchup, mayo, and tonkatsu sauce." She opened the fridge and brought the ingredients over to him. "Thank you, now chop up the cabbage Julien style." He stopped to see if she knew what he meant, but she was already at it. "Good."

The meat sizzled in the frying pan as he buttered bread to toast it. He laid the tenderloin on a cutting bored and sliced generous portions, then laid the slices on the bed of slaw he placed on the toast. "Dinner is served." He set out plates for everyone as they gathered around the table.

"Hyung, these are even better than last time." Jimin took a bite of his sandwich and his eyes rolled back in his head.

"I know, I'm awesome."

"Hey, I helped too." Alex jokingly pouted at Yoongi.

"Aw, yes you did, my little helper." He patted her on the head.

"So," Sabrina dabbed at her mouth with her napkin after she set her sandwich down, "Alex and I are going to church tonight. They are having it outside. Would anyone like to join us?" Alex looked down at her plate to hide her smile while Sabrina looked around the table at the guys expectantly.

Tae looked at the other guys then raised his hand, "I'll go."

Jungkook sat up in his seat, "I'll go too."

Jimin didn't want to seem rude, "I'll go too."

Suga raised his hand as he bit into his sandwich, "I'll go." His voice was muffled from the food.

Alex looked over at Yoongi surprised. RM looked to Jin and Hobi and both of them shrugged their shoulders then nodded their heads. No one wanted to disappoint Sabrina, "We'll all go."

"Perfect!" She smiled as she picked up her plate and took it to the sink. "Be ready at seven thirty." She walked back to her room to get ready.

Alex looked around the table. The guys were doing that thing where they all looked at each other and spoke without saying anything. "You guys didn't have to agree to go."

"Yes, we did. It's ok. We didn't want to let your mom down. Besides maybe we'll like it." Yoongi rubbed her shoulder before they all started getting up to head off and get ready.

________

At eight o'clock, they sat outside under a canopy of trees on stone seating that had been built into the hillside as the services began. Alex sat between Sabrina and Yoongi. Tae, Jimin, and JK sat on Sabrina's other side, while Hobi, RM and Jin sat on Yoongi's other side. It was a peaceful service, and much more thrilling since it was outside. When the priest gave his sermon, Alex noticed Yoongi trying to listen to everything he said. She couldn't tell if he was interested or just trying to understand his English.

Afterwards when they arrived back at the house, they went to sit out on the deck and passed around somaek. Sabrina decided to mess around with them a bit, "So, did anyone have any good takeaways from tonight?"

Jin and Hobi just stared at the table. They didn't have anything to bring to the conversation. Tae spoke up, "I thought it was really nice that they had it outside. It made it seem like you were more connected with the beauty of nature and the universe."

"I liked the songs. I've always thought church songs were nice." Jimin smiled.

Jungkook looked at Sabrina, "What was that guy doing up there when he moved his arms around the cup?" Sabrina laughed, "He was blessing the wine. He made a sign of the cross with his hand." She made the same gesture. Jungkook nodded his head, "Oh."

Yoongi was looking off in the distance while he listened to them talk. "Does it ever seem like there are too many rules? I mean, religion has always seemed man made to me."

Alex smiled at him, "Lots of people think that, and because man is fallible, I don't blame them. I look at it like this; even if you don't follow a religion, but you believe in a higher power, and choose to be a compassionate human and do what is right, then I think everyone has a chance with God."

Sabrina nodded, "You'll go crazy if you dive too deeply into it. When you try to wrap your head around the incredible wonder of the universe and A higher power's place within, your brain becomes overwhelmed. In the end, we have a core set of beliefs and try to live by them the best we can with sincere effort. That's what really matters. The "rules" are for guidance down your path of life and hold you accountable for the belief system you have committed to". Yoongi nodded his head as he got lost in his thoughts.

"Well, I'm off to bed. We 'll have to be up early to get the house ready to leave and then head back to the farm." Sabrina told them all goodnight then went back to her room.

RM was turning his glass in circles on the table, "You know, I'm not one for religion, but you and your mom make it sound so fulfilling to be spiritual. You don't make me feel like I've done something wrong like some people do."

Alex shrugged, "Well, it's not my place to judge. I know I'm not perfect. It's nice when people help guide each other to do good, but in the end we all have free will and choose what we do. If I truly believe in God, then I don't want to say or do anything that would make someone else question him and not consider the possibility of his existence or his divine love for us. Ultimately, because of free will, every person has to determine the level of their belief and how that will guide them in their thought processes, their decisions, and their actions".

Alex turned to Tae, "You believe in angels, right?" Tae nodded his head and smiled. "Well, we believe that every human has a single guardian angel that walks with them through life. We even give ours a name. It's simple, but nice to think about from time to time. It reminds you that you're never alone."

"I like that. Hm. I wonder what I would name my angel." Tae looked up to the ceiling as he considered it.

Alex smiled, "OK, I'm heading to bed too. I'll see you guys in the morning." She bent down to hug Yoongi from behind then went to bed.

Yoongi sat there for a bit thinking. "You know, the more I get to know her the more she absolutely fascinates me."

RM laughed, "C'mon lover boy, let's get to bed."

They all headed downstairs as their last night at the lake came to a close.
