"Are you ready for this?" Yoongi was watching Alex as she checked her makeup again in the mirror.

"As ready as I'll ever be." She retouched her lip gloss and popped it back in her purse. "Let's go." They headed out of Yoongi's room and met the rest of the guys and Ji-Hoon in the hallway. "Looking spiffy gentlemen." She smiled at them as she looked them all over.

Everyone was dressed in black, a little plan they made together when they had gotten the promotional schedule that week. The teasers had finally been dropped after they arrived in Las Vegas, and they were immediately booked for interviews and talk shows. Most of them were for the guys, but several included Alex and Ji-Hoon. Tonight was one such interview. They were meeting in one of the hotel conference rooms with one of the hosts from E!.

They got off the elevators and found the guards waiting for them to walk them through the hotel casino. Alex could only imagine how they looked as they passed by. A group of nine and their guards, all dressed in black. They could have been a trailer for a James Bond movie.

They went into the conference room and were introduced to the host, then took their seats to check the lighting and were set up with mics. The host had a preset list of questions that the group was already informed about. Alex crossed her fingers there wasn't too much adlibbing. She knew how this worked because she was usually the one asking the questions.

The cameraman signaled the host and the interview began. "Wow, you guys look great! How are you feeling, is everyone glad to be back?"

As always, RM took the lead, "Thank you! Yes we are, thank you very much for having us."

"So, let's talk about the documentary. What sets this one apart from other behind the scenes films you've done in the past?"

"Well, this one goes a bit deeper and is more personal I think than our previous videos. We wanted to show our fans what we've been up to while we worked on our individual careers and what it's like coming back together as a group again."

"Absolutely. Now Alexis, you were chosen to sort of steer the ship on this project. What's it been like getting to know BTS and spending time with them day in and day out? Were you a fan before you met them?"

"Yes actually, I was." They all laughed. "I would have to say it's been an amazing experience. You feel like you already know them just from having followed their careers all this time. Watching their shows, their videos. Then you meet them in person, and you get to know them on this different level. They're everything you think they are, but then so much more. It's been a pleasure to be a part of this."

"Guys, what's it been like having Alexis with you throughout the tour? From what I understand, this is the first time you've let someone in this close to your personal lives that wasn't already a part of your inner circle."

"She's like a sister now." Jimin smiled over at Alex.

Jungkook nodded his head and smiled, "Our Nuna."

"Yes, she's been great to work with, and we've all gotten to know her and care about her like family. Ji-Hoon, our cameraman on the project," RM put his hand out toward Ji-Hoon, "has even become close with us. We've gained new friends in the process, and we appreciate everything they have done to help make this happen."

"I can imagine as much time as you've spent together now that you've gotten pretty close. Which we can now say explains the mystery behind the American Girl in all the headlines?" The host turned to Alex.

"Yes, that was a bit tricky to maneuver around since they hadn't announced the documentary yet. Much of what we did involved going out together and spending time doing normal every day things. It can be difficult when you're traveling with international superstars, but luckily we ran into understanding ARMY that respected their privacy and helped keep our secret."

"So what we saw was everyone just hanging out, nothing special between one of you and Alexis?" The host decided to go off script after all. Alex had already prepared for it.

She let out a polite laugh, but had ice in her eyes, "I think it's safe to say that when one of these guys is finally taken off the market, they'll make an announcement for the whole world to know." The host caught the message loud and clear. He was stepping over the line to their privacy and it wasn't up for discussion. The guys all laughed.

The questions went on for a few more minutes when the host finally wrapped up the night, "Well, I'd like to thank you all again for coming on here to tell us about your new documentary. I know millions are anxiously waiting for it to air."

With that the interview was over then everyone gathered outside the conference room. Yoongi came up beside Alex and bumped her shoulder with his, "That was smooth in there. I'm taking you to all our interviews from now on." She gave him a cocky grin.

"So, since the cat's out of the bag, how about we go have dinner? We're already dressed to kill, we shouldn't waste it." Jin was putting on his WWH face.

"I'm up for it, let's go paint the town red." Alex was glad not to have to hide her friendship with the guys anymore. They headed back out into the casino and settled on one of the finer dining restaurants it had to offer. The guys were in the mood for expensive steak and alcohol.

As they waited for their food the conversations were flowing. Alex realized she felt more relaxed out in public than she had been in a long time. She didn't realize how stressed she had been from all of it. It was a relief, and she was going to let herself enjoy the night. She was sipping on her drink when she saw her phone light up on the table.

You look stunning when you're happy.

(Yoongi was sitting in the booth next to her. She looked over at him and smiled.)

I am happy. I can finally breath.

As long as you're happy, I'm happy

You make me happy

It's official, we make each other happy

Now put your phone down. We look suspicious.

Alex giggled as she set her phone back on the table. Their food arrived and more drinks were ordered. It was one of the best nights they had all had together in a while. After dinner they continued the festivities back at the suite. Tae had brought a shopping bag along with him and presented it to Alex as they sat around talking.

"What's this?" Alex took the bag.

"I owe you for my blunder on the V Live. I think you'll like it."

Alex pulled out the tissue paper and looked inside. Her eyes were huge when she looked back up to Tae, "You didn't?!" She pulled out a beautiful black leather Chanel purse.

"Do you like it?" Tae was smiling at her, he already knew her answer.

"I love it!" She squealed like a little girl and rushed over to hug Tae.

He hugged her back as they fell back against the couch. The guys were all laughing. They stayed up till the early hours of the morning playing games, singing karaoke, and drinking. The guys would regret it at practice later, but for now they would enjoy the party.
