《Loving Min Yoongi: How To Love Him》Chapter 32

It was the Friday before they were leaving for Europe. Alex had left the editing team with plenty to do, and she and Ji-hoon were having dinner that night to discuss the goals for the next part of the tour. They met in one of the HYBE conference rooms and were setting up their computers before ordering food.

Alex was glad the days had flown by. She hadn't seen Yoongi since the night the team had ordered them dinner. Even though they worked in the same building, their schedules kept them from running into one another. She knew she shouldn't want to be around him so much. They weren't a couple, she wasn't really sure what they were. He still seemed to keep her at arms length. If she was being honest with herself, she was glad it was going slow. They still had months ahead of them, and she didn't want to rush into anything that she wasn't ready for. IF there was anything to actually rush into.

"Alex!" Ji-Hoon was staring at her with an expectant look.

"I'm sorry, I was up in my head. What were you saying?"

Ji-Hoon shook his head and laughed, "I think I know where your head was." He gave her a pointed look. "I was asking what you wanted to eat."

"Oh, I want the bibimbap and beef bulgogi." It was her favorite.

Ji-Hoon placed their orders then they got to work. They were both organized and focused when it came to their jobs, so they made a great team. Ji-Hoon had a way of taking Alex's vision and bringing it to life on camera. He played a big part when it came to the editing, and when they put everything together, it was going to make for a great documentary.

When their food arrived they set their work aside. Alex didn't realize how hungry she was and it looked heavenly. Ji-Hoon had even ordered soju, several bottles too many by her calculation. "What's the occasion? This is enough to get an entire basketball team drunk."

Ji-Hoon laughed as he poured her a glass. "The soju is to congratulate ourselves on all the work we've gotten done the last couple of weeks. We deserve it, and you've been wound too tight the last few days. You need to relax."

It was true, she buried herself in work to keep her mind off Yoongi. She figured that had been better than hanging out alone in her room, battling whether or not to text him every day. She took the glass Ji-Hoon handed her and drank it all in one gulp. She slammed the glass down, "Pour me another, bar tender." Ji-Hoon just shook his head and laughed as he poured her more.

Alex was ready to dig in to her food, but first she grabbed her phone to take a picture for her Instagram. Some people thought food pics were cliché, but she still liked taking them. She posted it to her story then dug in. She closed her eyes at the first bite, it was delicious. Something about Korean food and soju spoke to her soul.

They were on their second bottle when Alex got a text.

Nuna, where are you, that picture made me hungry!

You're ALWAYS hungry LOL

We're in conference room 102.

Jimin and I are sneaking down there real quick before we head home.

See you in a few

Not even thirty seconds later the door opened and in came JK and Jimin. They came straight over to the table to see if there were any leftovers.

"Here." Alex pushed the food towards them and handed them chopsticks so they could have whatever was left. They had it devoured in under a minute. "Did you guys not eat yet?"

"We did," Jungkook swallowed, "but we're always up for a snack." He wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He was so much like her younger brother at times.

"Are you allowed to have a drink or will you get in trouble?" She lifted a bottle towards them and wiggled it in the air.

They both looked at each other and nodded their heads in agreement, "We can sneak a drink." Jimin said as he headed over for two more glasses.

Alex was already pretty tipsy from the first two bottles. She hadn't drank since that first night they had all went out after meeting at HYBE. She poured each of them a half glass, then poured herself another and emptied the bottle.

She opened the next two bottles and poured more for Ji-Hoon, then more in her glass before she had even taken another drink.

Jimin was snickering into his hand, "Alex, just how much have you drank already?"

She looked at the empty bottles on the table then down at her glass. "Um, I think I had one bottle so far." Ji-Hoon shook his head at the guys, signaling she had twice that.

"She's done nothing but work since we got back from Asia, I told her she needed to relax a bit." Ji-Hoon looked over at Alex, she was grinning like an idiot. "I'd say she accepted the challenge, and is succeeding."

"OH!" Alex jumped up from her chair. "I have an idea, let's play a drinking game!"

Jungkook and Jimin looked at each other then looked at Ji-Hoon. He shrugged his shoulders. Jimin nodded his head, "Ok, what are we playing?"

Alex thought for a minute, "Never Have I Ever."

Ji-Hoon looked confused, "I don't know that game."

"Then that settles it," Alex sat back down and refilled all of their glasses. "We each take turns saying something we've never done, and if any one of us has done that thing before, then we have to take a drink."

Jungkook's eyes got really big, "This could get crazy."

Alex put a pout on her face, "Oh, it'll be fun." She patted JK on his shoulder. "We can stop as soon as we run out of soju." They looked at the six bottles left on the table. Alex grabbed her glass and lifted it in the air. "Never have I ever . . . . sang on a stage." She watched Jimin and Jungkook take a drink, and giggled.

"I'll go next." Jimin held his glass, "Never I have ever pet a cow."

Alex narrowed her eyes at him, "I think you know too much about me . . . . I've got my eye on you." She pointed her two fingers at her eyes then his. She took a drink.

Jungkook was laughing, "Never have I ever gotten stung by a bumblebee." Ji-Hoon had to drink along with Alex on that one.

"Never have I ever fallen down the steps coming out of a plane." Ji-Hoon smiled devilishly at Alex.

"Wow, you guys are after me tonight." She took another drink. They continued going in circles, but in the end Alex was the winner, or loser depending on how you looked at it. All of the soju was gone, and she was pretty sure she had drank three fourths of it by herself.

Ji-Hoon stood up to get his things together, "I think we better call it a night before Alex tries to sucker us into another game."

"ME sucker YOU? I'm pretty sure you all just got me toasted." She swayed as she stood up to clean off the table.

"We better head back home too, are you ok by yourself Alex?" Jimin didn't want to leave her if she wasn't feeling good.

"Oh, go on, I'll be fine. I'm going to clean up then I'll call for a ride." They said their goodbye's and left. Alex turned some music on from her phone and set to tidying up. She loved cleaning to music, she danced as she worked her way around the room.

That was how Yoongi found her. She was listening to American hip-hop moving to the beat with her hips as she threw away trash and wiped down the table. Every so often she would sing along with the music, and not on key. He smiled to himself. She was so damn cute. Jungkook had texted him to let him know she was still there after they left. He knew Yoongi had been working in his studio down the hall.

Alex was lost in the song, she turned to grab the last glass of the table and ran smack into Yoongi. He grabbed her shoulders before she could fall backwards. "Oh, well hello there." She looked up at him with a drunken smile.

"Hello to you too." He still had his hands on her shoulders. "I see you've been enjoying yourself tonight."

Her eyes got really big, she leaned into him and raised up on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear, "Shh, don't tell anyone, I don't want to get Jimin and Baby Boy in trouble."

Having her that close to him sent tingles up his spine. Drunk Alex was a walking temptation. He took a step back and put his hands in his pockets. "Who is baby boy?"

"Jungkook! That's the name I have for him in my phone." She went back to cleaning up the glasses.

"Do you have names for all of us in your phone?" He was very interested to see what name she had given him.

"Of course." She continued moving to the music as she tried putting her computer in its bag. For some reason she couldn't get it to fit.

Yoongi walked over and took it from her to do it himself. The alcohol had done a number on her tonight. "What are the names for everyone else?"

"Jimin is Trouble, Jin is the Joker, for obvious reasons." She placed the clean glasses back on the buffet table. "Hobi is sunshine, and Namjoon is Joonie, although I would never actually call him that to his face. Oh, and Tae is Teddy Bear. I swear I just want to hug him like one." She kept moving around the room as she rambled on, putting chairs back under the table and setting utensils back in their drawer. Every so often she would sway from the alcohol.

Yoongi caught her as she passed by him, he steadied her so he could put her computer bag over her shoulder. "And what is the name you have for me?" He was wondering if she was too drunk to realize she was blabbering something she probably wouldn't say if she were sober.

She stopped and looked up at him with squinted eyes, "Wouldn't you like to know." She started to walk away but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back around. She bumped into his chest and grabbed onto his shoulders to steady herself.

He was looking down at her, their faces only a couple of inches apart. "Yes, I would." He looked at her while he waited for her answer.

Alex was suddenly finding it hard to breath. The alcohol was getting to her head, because she found herself staring at his lips. If she leaned just a little closer she could touch her lips to his . . . .

"Alex," Yoongi gave her a crooked grin as he broke her train of thought, "are you going to tell me?"

Her brain was too clouded by alcohol to stop herself from saying it, "My Kryptonite."

Yoongi tried to hide his smile, he licked the inside corner of his lips. Her eyes followed the movement. It took everything he had not bend his head down and kiss her. He stepped back, still holding her hand. "I think we'll have to talk about that more in depth at another time. Let's get you home."
