The next few weeks flew by. Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong went off without a hitch. The guys were busy with photo shoots in between shows. They had one week left in Thailand before they went home to South Korea for a short break.

Alex and Ji-Hoon had been busy putting together notes for the documentary staff for when they got back. They had been working for hours in the group suite when Alex finally sat back in her chair to stretch. She looked at the time and realized it was almost midnight. She looked over at Ji-Hoon, his eyes were only half open as he worked on his computer.

"I think we should wrap it up for the night, you look like the walking dead."

Ji-Hoon looked at Alex with a dry expression, "Thanks, that's so sweet." He took a drink of his cold coffee. He yawned and stretched, then closed his computer after saving his work. "We better get some sleep before tomorrow. The guys have been asleep all day, so they'll be running circles around us at the park." That reminded Alex, she wanted to send a text to the group to remind them.

Don't forget to wear swim stuff and comfy shoes tomorrow! You may get wet lol

Yeah, because I'll be raining awesomeness on everyone!

Alex wasn't surprised when Yoongi didn't respond. He had been pretty quiet lately. If he wasn't at practice, he was closed up in his room working on his music. Aside from the occasional text goodnight, they hadn't really spoken outside of filming. She could tell he had stepped back after the flight when he had shared his music with her. Normally she would give him his space, but it had been three weeks of space giving. It was time for him to take a breather. She pulled out her phone as she headed back to her room.

Earth to Yoongi, come in Yoongi

Are you still alive?

Nothing. She shrugged her shoulders when he didn't respond, he must have been sleeping. After setting out her clothes for the next day, Alex had just gotten into bed when her phone beeped.

Yoongi is back to earth

Sleep well, Lex. See you in the morning

She smiled to herself, she knew that was all she would get, but it was enough to know he was ok, and that they would be seeing each other the next day. She snuggled into her pillow and slept peacefully.

Early the next morning, everyone gathered outside the hotel for that day's adventure. They were headed to Erawan National Park, where they would be taking the all day tour through the caves, and along the trails to the waterfalls. Alex had been looking forward to this the most since they started the tour. There would be some filming, but really it was a small treat for everyone before they went back home for the break the following week.

The bus pulled up to the curb and everyone started boarding. Alex and Ji-Hoon boarded last. They took a seat in the front of the bus with the body guard staff. As soon as Alex sat down, her phone vibrated.

What are you doing

Alex turned and looked behind her where Yoongi sat several rows back. He raised his eyebrows at her, she raised her eyebrows back at him, then turned back around to reply.

It appears I'm sitting, what are you doing

Come back here and sit by me

Well, aren't you Mr. Bossy today.

I can't just leave Ji-Hoon up here by himself. That's rude.

Besides, people will see us sitting together.

He knows everyone up there already, he won't be alone.

Plus, the windows are tinted, and only staff are on the bus.

There's nothing to worry about.

Alex looked over at Ji-Hoon, who must have already sensed what she was about to say because before she could get a word out he told her, "Go, I'll be fine, mom."

Alex rolled her eyes and smiled, "Sheesh, don't call me mom."

She headed back to where Yoongi was sitting. He slid over and patted the seat next to him. When she sat down Jungkook and Jimin made whistling sounds. Alex put her hand over her mouth to hide her laughter. Yoongi turned around and gave a look that had the guys quieting down immediately, but they were still smiling.

Yoongi shook his head and crossed his arms over his chest as he sat back in his seat. Alex couldn't help but laugh. "Have you been working on the lyrics for the new song yet?"

Yoongi nodded his head, "Yes, a little bit."

"Can I see them when you're done?"

"Eventually." Yoongi closed his eyes and laid his head back. They had a drive ahead of them, so he must have wanted to get a nap in before they got there. Alex shook her head. He had her come all the way back there and sit by him, just to fall asleep.

She turned around and started up a conversation with Namjoon and Jin. She didn't see Yoongi peek his eye open to look at her. He didn't know how to tell her that he felt shy with her when the guys were around. He was a pretty closed person when it came to personal details of his life, even though he would eventually share things with the other members. He hadn't reached that point yet when it came to Alex.

It was enough just to have her sit by him, and be next to her. Whenever she was around he always found himself feeling less anxious about things. He could finally see what the guys had already seen, that she was changing him. Parts of him still put up an emotional block out of habit. Like how he avoided her for the last few weeks, because he felt himself falling for her more and more. It scared him, because he hadn't felt this way about anyone before. The only way he could deal with it was by putting distance between them. He was going to have to work on that if he didn't want to hurt her.

He was still feeling guilty about having avoided her, but he didn't want to bring it up when everyone was around on the bus. He was going to have to figure out a way to talk to her about it later in the day when no one was around. He closed his eyes again and propped his head against the window. He listened to her voice as he drifted off to sleep.
