《Loving Min Yoongi: How To Love Him》Chapter 9

The guys walked in all cheerful, ready to chow down and slam some drinks back. Since they wouldn't be drinking on the tour, this was their last chance to live it up before their duties kicked in. They all came and sat at the table Alex was sitting at. Ji-Hoon later told her it was set up this way as a night for the members to get to know her since they would be sharing so many intimate details about themselves with her.

Jimin took a seat right next to Alex, "Hello, I am Jimin, it's nice to see you, Alex. Have you had a chance to look around Seoul since you've been here?"

Alex couldn't get over Jimin's face, he was like a little angel cherub hovering in front of her. "Yes, Ji-Hoon has taken me to see some of the popular spots around the city. It is beautiful here!"

"We will have to take you to some of our favorite spots when we get time. Those are the places less known about. It's where we can hang out without too many people around and just be ourselves." Jimin smiled at her and started cooking some pork belly.

"I would love that," Alex said as she watched the meat sizzle. She didn't realize how hungry she was until the scents started assaulting her nose.

"Alex, what has been your favorite thing so far since you came to Seoul?" RM shouted from one end of the table.

"You mean besides meeting all of you?" Alex asked jokingly. "Seeing the city from my hotel window has been the best so far, you can see so much." RM nodded his head in understanding as he shoved a lettuce leaf full of pork belly and kimchi in his mouth.

The restaurant owner, Da-Eun, brought out a tray of beer and soju. The guys all cheered and started passing around glasses and pouring drinks. Since Ji-Hoon was there, many drank to the side to be respectful as he was older than everyone. Taehyung was drinking wine instead and offered a glass to Alex.

"Oh, no thank you, I better not drink. I'm afraid I'll make a fool of myself," Alex shyly admitted to Taehyung. Jimin turned to Ji-Hoon when he heard this and lifted a questioning eyebrow.

Alex looked at Ji-Hoon, who smiled wolfishly, as he poured her a small glass of beer with soju in it. "Drink Alex! Tonight is a free night to have fun!"

Alex glared at Ji-Hoon as she took the glass, "You were out to get me from the start weren't you," she accused, "you're conspiring with Jimin!" She glared at both of them as she downed the glass in one shot.

Everyone at the table whooped in admiration and more drinks were poured. Alex noticed Yoongi was missing from the group as she looked around the table.

"Hyung will be here later, he's at the studio working on a song," Jungkook said when he noticed her looking around.

"Oh? I was just looking to see who all was here besides our table," Alex said, unconvincingly. Jungkook gave her a knowing grin.

"So Alex, what is your favorite food?" Jin was leaning over the table to hear her better.

"I love all things meat, but shouldn't I be asking you guys the questions?"

"This isn't work right now, we are out having fun," Jin countered. "Alex, I have a serious question though." The table quieted down around them. "What kind of chips are lazy?"

Alex knew right away this was one of his dad jokes. She had heard hundreds of them from Rich back home when he would drive her into work. She wanted to let Jin have his fun though. "I don't know, tell me!"

"LAYS!" Jin and a few others burst out in laughter, while some of the guys rolled their eyes because they had heard his jokes too many times to count.

Alex laughed. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt this relaxed. Oh no, was the alcohol getting to her already? Right at that moment Jimin poured her another drink and pushed the glass towards her with a gleam in his eye. It seemed he had a mission to get her wasted, and she was relaxed enough now she decided to oblige him.

As the night continued more drinks were poured, and casual conversation continued around the table into the wee hours of the night. It was around 1:00am and shots were being passed around the table. RM, Tae, Jin, and Jhope decided not to drink anymore, so it was down to Jimin, Jungkook, and Alex. Ji-Hoon had passed out long ago with his head on the table. The guys realized that Alex could hold her own very well, but even she was not all powerful when it came to the amount of soju that had been consumed. She was starting to see double vision. Jungkook and Jimin began to sing while the others watched on in fits of laughter. Alex excused herself to go to the restroom.

She was splashing cold water on her face to try and sober up. You will not make a fool of yourself and throw up, you've got this. Hang on just a little bit longer, Alex. She headed back to their table and saw that RM, Jin, and Tae had just left. They had called a driver while she was in the bathroom. J-Hope was dragging Jungkook and Jimin to their driver since he arrived next. She waved goodbye to them before they took off. Alex looked down at Ji-Hoon still passed out on the table. She was about to ask Da-Eun to help her call a driver when she heard a deep voice behind her.

"I already called a driver for him." Alex turned to see Yoongi standing there.

"Whoa, when did you get here? I thought you were at the studio still." Alex spoke slowly in hopes her words weren't slurred. She held onto the table to keep herself from tilting too far to the side.

Yoongi watched with humor in his eyes as she tried not to sway. He muffled his laugh when she spoke slowly, it was clear she was drunk and trying not to slur. "I just showed up as J-Hope was getting Jungkook and Jimin into their car. "

"I'm sorry you missed all the fun. Did you have any luck on your song?" Alex asked with sincere concern.

"Yes, I got through the block I was having. Now, let's get you a ride back to your hotel."

"Oh, don't worry about me, I can find a way back," Alex suddenly tilted to the left and caught herself on Yoongi's arm. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"

Yoongi took her by the arm and sat her in a chair, "Stay."

Alex was suddenly grateful she was already sitting, because just that one word in that tone made her go weak in the knees. She watched Yoongi walk Ji-Hoon to his cab, then she watched him as he approached her. He was wearing basketball shorts, a white long sleeved t-shirt, and skater shoes. He was wearing the black hat again. She really needed him to stop wearing that hat if she was supposed to focus on being professional. He leaned down and took her by both of her elbows to help her stand. He grabbed her purse from the back of the chair and crossed it over her body. She watched him intently as he did all of this.

"Do you always talk so much or am I just special?" Alex asked him sarcastically.

Yoongi's lip twitched into a side smile. He walked her outside to the curb where a car was already parked. He opened the passenger door for her and helped her inside. He rounded the front of the car and got in the driver's seat.

"Wow, I'm getting Agust D as my personal driver. What did I do in my previous life to deserve this," Alex mused out loud. "Maybe I helped save the king from dying, or fought off an army to save a small village."

Yoongi barked out laughter and Alex suddenly realized she had been speaking out loud. She slowly slid down in the seat and covered her head with her purse.

"Please pretend you didn't hear any of that just now!" Alex begged from embarrassment.

"I don't think I can, I didn't realize I was such a prize for a life well lived," Yoongi chuckled to himself as he drove down the road. "So, did you enjoy yourself tonight?"

"Well I did until that just happened. Now I won't be able to face you after tonight. I'll beat Ji-Hoon for letting me drink. I told him I can't control what comes out of my mouth when alcohol is involved. I was doing so good till you showed up, and then all thought left my head," Alex rambled.

"Why did you lose all thought when I showed up?"

Alex froze as she realized she just spoke out loud again. "You know, I think I better not talk anymore or I might have to get back on a plane for America tomorrow."

Yoongi laughed again, "So does that mean I'm your bias or do I just intimidate you?"

Alex stared at Yoongi's profile while trying to decide how to respond. She already got herself in enough trouble for talking too much. She was afraid of saying anything else.

"I'll answer that another day if you don't mind." Alex turned to look out the window for the rest of the ride.

When they got to her hotel, Yoongi came and opened the door for Alex to get out. He truly was being a gentleman, she shouldn't be so hard on him. After all, it was her own drunk mouth that was embarrassing her.

"Thank you for the ride, Yoongi, it was very kind of you."

"It was the right thing to do, I will see you tomorrow at the photo shoot." Yoongi turned to get back in the car.

He watched as she walked into the hotel and disappeared around the corner. Something about her that pulled at him. He shook his head and put the car in drive. He left for home, but he couldn't get her out of his mind while he drove. Alexis Lynn was getting to him and he couldn't figure out why.
