"HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!"
You heard in the distance, your sweating and humid body forcing you to stomp through the heat waves of the desert, your lip curling as you heard a blood curdling scream follow after the random burst of laughter. It was kind of to close for your liking. The hot desert served as a purpose to you, it felt as if your body was drenched with oil and lit on fire.
You had no idea how or why, but you had gotten lost in the desert like the complete and utter idiot you were, only you weren't alone. The big giant circus in front of you proving that. You didn't even realize you had stumbled upon it, hallucinating it to be a lake.
It was huge and colorful, booming out the word creativity right in your face. From the brightly colored striped tents to the props and messily painted walls.
You sighed, figuring you might be able to seek shelter from the sweltering heat and maybe get back home if you could find someone with human decency inside, (doubtful).
You walked beside the pitched up tents and the truck that lined perfectly with the hot and unbearably hard, rocky- sand under your feet. It crunched under you, making the sound of when you stepped on thin ice in the middle of winter. Except it was much too steamy and hot to be winter.
You wiped some sweat from your brow, looking around what seemed to be a barren area.
Huh. That was sure odd.
You could of swarn you heard some maniacal laughter and screaming just seconds before, but you might have been hearing things. Like mentioned. You weren't exactly okay in the head after being out in the torture of modern heat for so long.

You almost didn't notice an arm extend giddily from around a tent, a loaded gun aimed in your direction. Your eyes widened as you ducked out of the way, some kind of knife missed you at the same time the person fired the machine.
You rolled down, barely missing it as it grazed your shoulder roughly, leaving a visible mark on your upper arm as the fabric around your clothes ripped do to the pressure the shot caused.
You hissed, gritting your teeth as you looked around angrily, trying to spot your predator as you noticed somebody come out forcefully from behind a tent, a nervous look on their masked face as they anxiously and slowly approached you.
You noticed they're features quickly, taking in the fact the mask seemed to change based on emotions, as their mask fell each time they inched closer to you, showing their paranoia to approach you. You raised an eyebrow in curiosity, rage and adrenaline still coursing through your veins from the earlier shot.
The person stood in front of you, fiddling their fingers as you stood about a few inches taller then them. You looked at them as their ear twitched, the mask falling again as they forced a polite smile. Then they notice your ripped clothing and bullet graze.
They freaked out, starting to pace as they looked behind them, seemingly contemplating whether they should flee or address the situation.
You noticed this, and right before they darted back behind the tent you extended your hand, shouting in desperation,
"Wait! Stop! Please! I don't mean any harm..I'm just lost!"
You exclaimed honestly, still reaching out to them as they froze in their tracks, sweat narrowly dripping down their face as they faced you with a nervous 'expression'
"I-if I help you, will you leave?"

They persisted, looking to the side before deciding to make eye contact with you, a considering look on your face as you processed the offer.
"Okay... Well.. why do you want me to leave."
They sighed, smiling fondly as they stared at the tent behind them, their tail dropping as they began to explain.
"Well.. my friend can be a LITTLE hyper sometimes.. and well, he was the one who did that."
They casually stated, as if this were and everyday experience for them. Their voice not giving any hint of being displeased or disappointed in their 'hyper' acquaintance.
"Okay okay. I just want to get back home then. Do you know a way out of here?.."
He smiled guiltily as he scratched the side of his head with a finger, letting out a small shaky giggle.
Your eyebrows creased and you gave him a stern expression, not being exactly impressed with the fact he seemingly didn't know the exit to the desert.
"U-uh! No..not at the moment."
He quivered out, you letting out a long and over exaggerated groan as you slapped your hand to your sweaty forehead.
Geez, you were tired.
"Well. Can I at least get some rest?"
You said, causing his eyes to dart hastily from your shoulder and back to you, a nervous smile casted on his mask.
"Okay.. but can you come with me somewhere? And you have to promise to be silent about it!"
He said, a stern undertone layering his voice as you flinched slightly, looking all around you for any signs of life, then staring down at him questioningly, but hesitantly nodding in compliance.
"Okay..good. come with me. There should be a spare tent..."
He started, attempting to grab your hand, but someone else exited the shadows, causing him to halt and look to the side with an annoyed look on his face
"Hey, is this the one I shot, ah dang. Did I seriously miss?"

TRX's Adventures
Set during the 1980s, it narrates the daily life of Mathias, a boy with "psychic powers", and his friends, which ends when something happens that changes the course of our protagonist's life. ... This is titled this way because some letters of the characters' names form the TRX of the title... Although there is one character who literally has that name, it is also named after her. Ah, and if some parts sounds a bit weird because of some words, tell me. This also contains some simple drawings made by me. This is going to have a lot of edits, apparently.... And maybe I'll add a couple of stuff. I'll try to make this be good... Or, at least, fun. ... Also, the older version will stay, but it kind of spoils the plot (although it changed in many ways), so if you want to read it before this... Do it at your own risk.
