《Akatsuki x Reader One-shots (DISCONTINUED)》Soulmate Au-Hidan

You were laying down on a field as you heard the birds chirp and the wind breeze through your hair. You reached for the sky and pretended to grasp a cloud. You unclamped your fist looked at your empty hand. Your eyes trailed down to your wrist. It was clear. No words printed on. You huffed and continued to lazily look at the sky in boredom. I wonder if my soulmate's life is more exciting than mine, that's if I even have one...
You were 15 and had yet to have any words imprinted on your wrist. You yearned to have one like everybody in your age group that already had theirs. You envied the girls that giggled and flaunted their words. Oh look at mine! My soulmate must be a sweetheart! He calls me beautiful! You hated it. You hated every second of it.
Sometimes you would walk to the forest and yell in frustration. In anger. In sorrow. You would come out the forest with pink eyes and bruised knuckles.
You were getting ready to go to sleep when you felt a warm sensation on your wrist that spread through your whole body. You stopped brushing your hair in confusion. You looked down to your wrist and gasped. The thing you have desired for so long had finally come. You were crying in joy. You jumped around your room and then jumped onto your bed. You rolled around your blankets and were going to think about the future.
Until it hit you. I didn't even read what my wrist even says! You looked to your wrist anxiously and whispered the words that were written on your wrist. " Do you want to join the way of Jashin?"
" Who the hell is Jashin!" You pouted. You finally had the thing you wanted but it wasn't what you were expecting. You expected something cheesy and cute. Instead you got the name of a man on your wrist and it wasn't even your soulmates name. " How the hell am I supposed to show off to those obnoxious girls now!" You whined.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes. Just my luck to have that as my soulmates first words. Who even walks up to somebody and that is the first thing they say to them! I feel like my soulmate is some stupid bum.

Hidan didn't really care about the concepts of soulmates. He cared more about pleasing his god Jashin rather than wondering about what kind of person his soulmate is. As harsh as it was, he really didn't care about his soulmate. He rarely even thought about them. Even when he did think about them it was for his religion. He wondered how many kids he would have with you and how you would raise them. The more he had with you the easier it would be to spread Jashinism.

Hidan was in the middle of a prayer when he felt a warm sensation in his wrist that then spread throughout his whole body.
"The fuck was that shit!" He cursed as he shivered. He look down to his wrist where the warm sensation started. Who the hell is Jashin.
Hidan looked down to his wrist in disbelief. " The fuck you mean you don't know who Jashin is!" Hidan was disappointed in himself. Lord Jashin I apologize for not spreading the ways of Jashinism as much as I should. To be paired up with someone who does not know your name should have not have happened.
As Hidan finished praying he stood up and began his journey to spread Jashinism even more.
——————-
It's been a year and you haven't met your soulmate. You were getting impatient. You just wanted to meet them already. Maybe I need to travel... There is nobody new in the village and barely any travelers come here to rest. And after thinking about it you started to pack your things. Who knows how long I'll be gone, better pack for at least 2 weeks.
You waited until the very next morning to start your journey. You walked out the village gates with a big smile on your face. It might take weeks or even months to find them but I'll search for as long as I have to!
You have been walking for at least 5 minutes before you started to get tired. Maybe this was a bad idea....
You thoughts were interrupted when you heard rustling in the bushes. You peered over and saw a man walk out with a big grin on his face.
Before you could even ask who he was he already started to speak. " Do you want to join the way of Jashin?"
Without even thinking you responded with ,"Who the hell is Jashin?"
Suddenly you and Hidan were engulfed with warmth and blinding light. You looked up to him with wide eyes and he did as well. You both stood in silence before you decided to speak up.
" This has to be one of the lamest jokes the world had played on me. I pack for two weeks to search for you and not even ten minutes in I find you!" You laughed.
"You think that's the lamest joke! Imagine devoting your life into your religion just to be paired up with someone who doesn't even know who Jashin is!" He chuckled.

" Fuck, That does sound lame." You said. " So are you my soulmate..." you asked nervously even though the answer to your question was obvious.
Hidan looked back at you with a blank face
" Sorry! Sorry! Stupid thing to ask after being engulfed in that weird heat thingy And us saying the words on each other's wrist...ahaha..." You laughed nervously. Fuck! What do I say, I'm just embarrassing myself.
" You mentioned living near here. Mind I crash at your place. I'm too fucking broke to stay at another inn." Hidan asked as he flaunted his empty wallet at your face.
" Oh um... y-yeah.... You can stay as long as you want cuz ya know...we are soulmates and whatever..." You said while stumbling on your words.
Hidan adverted his eyes from your form and then back to you, his body language radiated that he was uncomfortable.
For once in his life did Hidan finally experience being uncomfortable and you, his soulmate made that happen.
You and Hidan stood on the dirt path in silence and neither one of you moved.
" So umm.." you and Hidan both said in unison.
" Oh you go first." You said.
" Aren't you going to lead the way to your house or are we going to fucking stand here all day?" Hidan asked.
" O-oh right!" You stuttered.
You lead the way as Hidan followed behind you. Why didn't anybody tell me that this would be so awkward!!!
As you and Hidan neared the village gates you suddenly felt a wave of embarrassment come over you. Shit Shit Shiiiiit! I'm gonna look so stupid! I told the guards they wouldn't see me for weeks!!! Gahhhhh!!!
Hidan took a glance at your face. " You okay? You look like you ate your own shit."
" Huh? Oh I'm fine!! Everything is totally fine! Nothing embarrassing is happening over here...Hehe"
" Are you normally like this?" Hidan asked as he glanced you up and down.
Your mind was on overboard. You felt your face going red and you wouldn't be surprised if there was steam coming from your ears. " Nes."
" Nes?" Hidan asked in confusion.
" Wha?"
" You're fucking weird you know." Hidan said as he took the lead to the village gates. He placed his arms behind his neck. " But who am I to judge."
———————
" You can sleep there." You said while pointing to the futon on the ground. It was placed on the dirty and dark corner of the guest room. Hidan looked back to you with a disgusted face.
" I'm not fucking sleeping there!" He pouted. He looked back to you and gripped your waist and nuzzling his face into your neck. " Why don't I sleep with you? I could come up with a few things that could bring us closer." He whispered to your ear.
You pushed him off of you and walked back to the door and closed it while muttering pervert.
———————
It's been a week since Hidan had stayed with you and you were exhausted. Ughhhhh!!!! Why is my soulmate such a pig!
You walked around the house cleaning up after Hidan while Hidan was dancing in his boxers. " Aren't you going to clean up after yourself?" You asked annoyed.
" Huh? Why would I when I got you to do it for me." He said while throwing his bag of empty chips on the ground.
You angrily rolled up a random newspaper and sneaked up behind Hidan who was reading a random manga he found in your room and whacked him.
" Ow! The fuck was that for?!"
" You had it coming you lazy bum!" You said with your arms crossed. " We have to establish rules if you are going to stay with me." Hidan crossed his arms and looked at you. " Rule number one. You have to take me serious. I know I gave a bad first impression but that does not mea- IS THAT THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!" You yelled as you dragged Hidan out the door to chase the ice cream truck that is already turning the corner.
Jashin sama I don't think kids will be coming soon...Hidan thought to himself as he was being dragged by you in a mission to buy the PowerPuff Girls popsicle.
