As a month went by I noticed Sasori's mood and appearance has changed. He would just stare off and he doesn't take care of himself anymore. I know he hurt me, but I just can't stop caring for him.

Maybe I should talk to him? I thought. What if he doesn't want to see me? As I keep thinking I see Sasori walk into the kitchen. Nows my chance! I should speak to him. I get up and make my way to the kitchen.

"Y/n I would like to see you in my office." Pein said catching me off guard.

" O-oh of course!" I said. Dang it Pain! You have the worst timing!

I start heading to his office. I get there and sit on one of the seats. Where is he? I thought he wanted to see me. I sit there and pout. How dare he make me wait! Just who does he think he is?! As I was ranting in my head Pein enters the office but with somebody behind him, the somebody being Sasori.

" Sorry to keep you waiting y/n. Sasori take a seat I have something to discuss with you two."

I tense up. Discuss? What does he want to discuss about?

" y/n? Are you okay you seemed to have to spaced out." Pein asks.

" Yes I'm okay... I was just thinking!" I said with a smile. " What do you want to talk about?"

" I'm assigning you two a bounty mission. We are currently low in funds and the three walls you two destroyed didn't help either. Everything you need to know are in this scroll. Failure is not an option. I hope you two put your differences aside. Do you have any questions?" I shake my head and Sasori says no. " Alright then. You two are dismissed now." Pein hands Sasori the scroll. Sasori opens the door and walks out I follow behind.

" Meet me by the entrance in 10 and don't keep me waiting." Sasori said.

" Okay!" I said before running off to the opposite direction to get my belongings.

~Time skip~

Sasori POV

After 8 minutes I had everything ready. I make my way to the entrance only to see y/n talking to Hidan. The sight makes my blood boil. As I get closer i was able to hear their conversation.

" It's pretty big, you should come to my room and see for yourself. You could touch it too, I wouldn't mind." Hidan said leaning against a wall.

" When I come back It will be the first thing I do." Y/n said.

I was beyond angry! How dare Hidan and y/n talk about such things!

" Sorry to keep you waiting y/n. Let's go" I said angrily. I pass by her and walked out. A second later she rushes out and takes her place beside me. I take glance at her. She seems to be thinking of something. She suddenly looks at me confused.

" Do I have something on my face?" Y/n asked.

" No." I replied.

" Hmmm... then why were you looking at my face?" Y/n asked.

" I wasn't looking at you." I lied.

"Oh..." y/n said embarrassed with a light blush on her cheeks. She looks so beautiful. I'm a fool for breaking her heart.

We continue our journey in silence.

~Time Skip~

Y/n POV

The sun is going down and my feet are killing me.

" Can we take a break?" I asked Sasori.

" The sun is going down maybe we should rest for the night. There's a town up ahead could you walk a bit more?" Sasori asked.

" I guess I could. Can you just wait a minute? I just need to rub my feet." I said sitting down. Out of nowhere Sasori picks me up bridal style. Heat spreads across my face.

" If your feet hurt just say so. I'm going to carry you until we can get into an inn." Sasori stated walking towards the town.

" Thank you Sasori" I said wrapping my arms around his necks to get into a comfortable position. I then see Sasori smile for a second. Wait did he just smile??? Am I going crazy!?!? Does he still care about me?

In a couple of minutes we made it to an inn. Sasori gently placed me down and heads to the reception. I follow behind him.

" I'd like two rooms." Sasori said

" Sorry sir, we only have one room available. It only comes with one bed and one bath." The receptionist said

" We'll take it!" I said.

" Thank you and sorry for any inconveniences. Here's your key and enjoy the stay!" The receptionists said with a smile handing me the key.

I grab my bags and start heading to the room me and Sasori will be staying. I open the door and enter. I look around the room and see the small bed and a nightstand beside it. I see a closet and the door where the bathroom is at. There's a tv located ahead of the bed and a mini fridge with water inside. There was no couch.

I place my belongings beside the bed.

" I'll sleep on the ground." Me and Sasori said at the same time.

" you will not be sleeping on the ground." Sasori said.

" Neither will you!" I said crossing my arms.

" Don't tell me what I can't and can do." Sasori said.

I just glare at him. Me and Sasori have a silent glaring contest.

" Why dont we just share the bed since there is no point in arguing with you." Sasori said.

" fine by me." I said. I got to my belongings and pull out my night wear which just consisted of a large t shirt and underwear.

" I'm going to take a shower. I expect you to do the same once I'm done." I said

" Fine." Sasori said turning on the tv.

~Time skip~

Once Me and Sasori have taken our showers we get ready to sleep. I lay on the bed and notice our backs would end up touching since the bed isn't big enough.

I feel Sasori getting on the bed and turning off the light and then our backs were touching.

How am I going to sleep like this?!?! After 30 minutes of closing my eyes and not being able to sleep I feel sasori side of the bed go up. I hear footsteps and the mini fridge opens. I guess he's just having some water. I said to myself my eyes still closed.

I can't sleep once again. I get up and get some water. I turn and see y/n sleeping. She looks so beautiful,Like an angel. I gently smile at her. I put the water away and make my way towards her. I kneel beside her. I gently grab her hand not trying to wake her up and whisper to her,

" I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for not being able to say this to you while your awake. I'm sorry for breaking your heart. I'm sorry for breaking your trust and bringing pain. Itachi was right,I regret my decision everyday." I let go of her hands and gently touch her cheek, " I want to kiss you, cuddle with you, laugh with you, and cry with you. I still love you and it pains me not being to do anything with you. I'm sorry doll, I-I love you." I said crying at the end. I felt something wipe away my tears. I look up to see y/n crying with a sad smile on her face. She moves her leg to the side of the bed where I'm kneeling. She gently moves my head to her lap. I cry into her lap, sobbing. I feel her playing with my hair while she sheds tears of her own. We cry for minutes until we stop.

" I love you too Sasori." Y/n whispers into my ear.

I get up and push her to the bed and kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck pulling me closer. After minutes of kissing she pulls away. Her eyes were tired and full of sleep. I lay beside her and pull her for a hug. She lays on my chest and wraps a hand around me. I wrap both hands around her.

" Good night, Doll."

" Good night Sasori, sleep well." Y/n said.

~Morning~

I wake up to an empty bed. Was it all a dream?!?! I start to panic. Y/n then walks out the bathroom. I rush to her and pull her into a hug.

" is everything okay, baby?" Y/n asks.

" Everything's fine , I have you now." I said mumbling into her neck.

" Geesh Sasori you made me worry for a second. Come on we have to get going and finish the mission."

" alright then." Sasori said before pulling me into a long passionate kiss.

~ bonus~

" what were you and Hidan talking about before the mission." I asked.

" Oh we were discussing about scars and he said he has this huge one on his back. I don't believe it's as big as he says it is though. Why did you want to know?" Y/n asks.

" Oh. Sorry, I overheard some of it and I took the conversation the wrong way." Sasori said before turning away from you with a slight blush on his cheeks.

" OH MY GOSH SASORI YOU DIDNT!!!" Y/n yelled out. " we're just friends!" Y/n said smacking my arm for my conclusion.

" I'm sorry for thinking you would have s-"

" ahhhh don't say it! Don't say it!!!! I forgive you. Let's change the topic." Y/n said covering her ears.

What a crazy girl.

But I'm crazier for loving her.
