"Steak... check. Wine... check. Sexy lingerie, most definitely, check!" You said looking over the list.
You might be wondering why you purchased these items, well it was your one year anniversary dating Sasori and you thought it was a great idea that you two should have dinner and some fun time when you two were alone, well that was the plan...
You did the hand seals to enter the hideout. As you made your way to the kitchen you bumped into Deidara.
" Hey! Watch where you ar- Y/N un!What are you doing here?!"Deidara nervously asked, his eyes meeting everywhere but your eyes.
" I-I thought you had a 2 day mission un." Deidara stuttered out.
" I finished early and rushed back here..." you answered. You eyed Deidara suspiciously. He was sweating and his eyes never made contact with yours. " Is everything okay?" You asked placing a hand on his shoulder which tensed under your touch.
" Yeah everything is okay. Why wouldn't it be un?" Deidara nervously laughed.
You were no idiot. You knew something was wrong. Did Sasori get injured in his recent mission? You thought. Now you were getting worried.
" hey y/n do you think we can hangout in town today?" Deidara asked trying to lead you away from the base.
" I'm sorry Deidara but I can't today. I have some plans with Sasori today. Maybe n-" but before you could finish your sentence a loud female moan is heard. You turned your head towards the hall leading to the rooms of the Akatsuki.
" Did Hidan bring another woman into the hideout again?" You asked turning to Deidara.
But before he could make a sound another moan is heard.
" Faster~! Faster Sasori~! Oh God~!!"

Male grunting is heard shortly after. Which you quickly recognized who it belonged to.
Your heart shattered at those sounds. Tears welled up in your eyes. Your knees were shaking, before you could drop to the ground, Deidara grabbed you by the waist preventing you from falling.
" I'm sorry un. I didn't want you to find out." Deidara said sadly. You cried into his chest, hands holding tightly to ends of his shirt. Tears going through the fabric. Deidara gently touched your hair trying to soothe you. You continued to cry your heart out. The bag containing your earlier purchases long forgotten on the ground, items on display for everyone to see. Deidara picked you up bridal style taking you to his room. He gently placed you on his bed. He pulled the blankets up to you. He sat next to you for comfort.
" why did he do it?" You asked weakly, your throat burning from your crying.
" What was that,un?" Deidara asked facing you.
" Do you know why he did it.?" You asked more louder than before. Tears threatening to spill out once more.
" I don't know... I think you should ask him,un." Deidara said.
" Your right... thank you for comforting me and trying to protect me...I appreciate it." You said
" I just didn't want to see you cry. Your a really beautiful woman, and beautiful women don't deserve to cry...they don't deserve us men. We just end up treating them horribly without realizing it...Sasori is just one of those men. I just hope to learn from his mistakes."Deidara said
You smiled weakly, what a soft boi you thought. " I hope you find the woman of your dreaaams" you said yawning at the end.

" yeah I hope so." You heard Deidara say before falling asleep.
~~ Next Morning ~~
(Shizzle is about to go down.)
You woke up the sound of someone breathing in your ear. You prop your self up and turn to see Deidara cuddling you. You smiled at how adorable Deidara looked asleep.Suddenly a knock is heard at the door.
" Hey brat! Have you seen my screwdr- Y/N! What are you doing in his bed." Sasori asked darkly.
You laughed at his question. How dare he ask you that question after what he just done.
" How DARE I!?!" you shouted getting off the bed and marching straight at him. Waking Deidara in the process.
" HOW DARE I?" Stabbing your finger in his chest. " HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION AFTER WHAT YOU JUST DID!"
Sasori just continued to glare at you.
" Just what exactly did I do?" Sasori asked coldly.
Something inside you snapped at his question. Did he think you were stupid? Before you could scream at him and hit him. Deidara intervened.
" Sasori-Danna stop acting clueless. You know what you did and she knows too. She heard you last night." Deidara said calmly.
Sasori eyes widen for a slight second before going back to normal, " That's what your yelling about? It was a one time thing. It won't happen again. You just weren't around to satisfy my manly needs, and I didn't want to wait for you to come back. I hate waiting you should know this. So I took matters in my own hands." Sasori stated calmly.
Oh you were shaking with anger. You walked towards him calmly with a fake smile on your face.
" ohh that's why? I totally understand your problem. Let's just put this behind us. NOT!" You focused all your chakra into your fist and punched him in the face. He went flying past three walls ending up in the kitchen, alarming the other members. You marched your way to him.
" YOU THINK IM JUST GOING TO BE OKAY WITH THIS.IM GOING TO KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID!"
Before you could grab him you were stopped. Deidara grabbed your fist. Hidan gabbed your other arm. Kisame grabbed you by the back and Itachi stood a front of you with his sharingan activated, hand seal ready.
(Something like this)
You were overflowing with chakra. Eyes seething with anger.
" calm down kid... I don't know what sasori did, but you need to calm down." Kisame said gently.
You slowly calmed your breathing. Your muscles relaxing. You saw Kakuzu picking up Sasori and taking him to the infirmary. Tobi was hiding behind the counter scared. Zetsu beside Tobi not trying to stay hidden.
" I'm calm you can all let go of me" you said.
They hesitated at first but as soon as Itachi saw your tears he backed away and told the others to let go. You wiped your tears and said
" Who's hungry? Cuz I'm sure starving." You said trying to switch the subject.
" oh! Tobi is hungry! Tobi wants pancakes!"

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
