Kisame met Pain and explained that (Y/N) was missing. Pain decided to gather the other members.

"One of our members is missing" Pain started. "I don't accept betrayal"

Kisame looks offended . "(Y/N) won't betray us" 

Deidara immediately nodded, agreeing to Kisame's words. "Maybe she's in danger, we have to find her as soon as possible, hm!"

"We must not be reckless. We still don't know why she left" Pain said.

"I saw her out with Itachi last night, hm" Deidara glared at Itachi. "Maybe he knows something, hm"

"We talked last night" Itachi admitted. "And... She got mad"

Kisame looked surprised, and Deidara refrained from lunging at Itachi at that moment.

"Means that there is a chance that she may have gone off to cool off" Pain concluded. "Konan, check her room". Konan nodded, then left the room. Not long after, she had joined again.

"She didn't carry anything, even her ninja pouch was still in her room" Konan informed. "This prove she has no intention of leaving the Akatsuki"

Pain nodded. "Then, she will come back by herself"

"But, there's also the possibility that she may be in danger, hm" Deidara reminded.

"We wait until tomorrow. If she hasn't come back yet, we'll start looking for her" Pain said. Deidara was about to protest, but Pain cut him off. "Kakuzu and Hidan will be back today while Tobi and Zetsu will be back tomorrow. If (Y/N) isn't back tomorrow, we'll get together and look for her. All clear?"

Deidara looked dissatisfied, but he nodded.

The meeting is over. After Pain and Konan left the room, Deidara stood up and grabbed the collar of Itachi's cloak. "What did you tell her, hm?" 

"...That's none of your business" Itachi answered.

Deidara growled angrily. "If something happens to her, it's all your fault, hm"

Itachi stared at Deidara, his expression was cold as usual. "Why are you angry?" Itachi asked. Deidara gritted his teeth and prepared his fist, but Kisame held him back.

"Enough, Deidara" 

"Let go off me, hm!" Deidara yelled. "You said you're her brother, but how could you-"

"I understand that you're worried about (Y/N). I'm worried too. But fighting doesn't solve any problem" Kisame said.

Sasori nodded. "Kisame is right. We're team, there shouldn't be fights between us"

Deidara let go of Itachi and walked towards the door. He turned his head before exiting. "I'm angry because I care about her, unlike you, hm". After saying that, Deidara disappeared from sight.

"Don't mind him" Sasori got up. "I'll go back to my room"

Kisame nodded at him and turned to Itachi. "You should go back to your room too"

Itachi nodded. He returned to his room and closed the door. Sighed, he sat on his bed. Itachi was confused. Everything to do with (Y/N) confused him.

He didn't want (Y/N) to worry about him all the time, but he felt warm when (Y/N) knocked on his door and looked at him with a worried look.

He wanted (Y/N) to go, but why when she did, he wanted (Y/N) to be here, by his side.

He told (Y/N) to not fall in love with him, but why does everything feel wrong?

Itachi didn't understand his own feelings, which frustrated him. He had never felt this before.

"I'm angry because I care about her, unlike you, hm"

Deidara's words swirled in his head, making him subconsciously clench his fists tightly.

"He's wrong" Itachi whispered to himself.
