Doing a coding assignment last minute, Ada Newth, a computer science student, fell asleep and woke up in a different world where she was informed by the System that she was randomly selected from an infinite number of universes to be a Goddess of Computation.The trouble is that she's barely passing her first class and now she's meant to be a Goddess? Worse, she can't understand why she's needed in this world where the technology level is about equivalent to that of Earth's Middle Ages. Clearly, most people can barely read or count and even the other gods are of no help. In fact, most of them are rather dangerous idiots. If she can't convince them to help her change the status quo, she'll just have to gather her allies and followers and make some major changes to the system. 21 NOV 2020:I may update all the systemshelper interface to match better with a programming language already out there. This is primarily a story exploring what it means to be human, using a lens of a hopefully real-feeling fantasy world. This story is not a power fantasy or a traditional Litrpg , while it has elements of these genres, it will focus on how these tropes would influence real people and possibly Redshirt will break some of these tropes along the way. There will be a variety of different characters and perspectives, some you hate, some you love, and some that will frustrate. Just as all people do. I don't believe there will be anything overly traumatic or explicit, but it's better to be safe than sorry. There will be some heavy topics explored, the characters views do not reflect the authors; however, if there is an issue in how I present/understand these issues please do tell me, and I will try my best to rectify it. Instead of having to live in the dreadful 37th century. However, as luck would have it, the only thing that M and JJ could agree on was to hurl insults at each other at every turn. It was not exactly the life that she had wanted, but it was way better than being stuck on Earth. That was almost certain.

This was a school project, so I had to cut some real MCU things out, but other then that the names stay the same. 06/20/2022 AN: Hey guys. This story is five years old at this point. That's pretty crazy. While I have moved on to other fandoms in that time, it's great to see people interacting with this. I'm not sure how well it holds up, especially with Creep by Radiohead being in it (idk what I was thinking lmfaoo), but I'm glad to see that some people still enjoy it. Have a good one. :)
