《Hockey Imagines》Jack Eichel ~ BUF

"Hey, Jack," I spoke up as soon as I heard the scooter roll up into the kitchen, not looking up due to the fact that I was studying for a really critical exam coming up in one of my tougher courses in college.
"I see that you're still studying for the exam." He pointed towards the stacks of flashcards and the overall messy coffee table that I had been hogging for the past week or so. "You didn't forget about dinner, did you?"
"W-what dinner?" I looked up at him like he had gone wild or something. "I don't remember about any dinner."
"My parents are in town from Boston..." Jack scooted from the kitchen and rolled into the living room, where I currently was located in. "Remember? I told you all about this like a week ago-"
"And I got so distracted by the exam! Oh my god, Jack, I am so sorry..." I shut my textbook closed and wiped my eyes to try to get rid of some of the tiredness from my eyes. Getting up from my seat on the couch, I helped Jack transfer over to the couch and told him to wait for a few minutes while I got ready for when they came over.

The chiming of the doorbell rang throughout the apartment, causing me to turn off the stove for a quick second and go up to the door.
"Mr. and Mrs. Eichel! It's very nice to see you again. How are you?" A smile appeared on my face as I opened the door to reveal Jack's parents standing on the other side.
"We're doing well, Y/N. Thank you for asking. How's college here in Buffalo?" Mrs. Eichel smiled as I made way for them to enter the door. As they entered the apartment, Jack rolled in his scooter into the living room to greet his parents.

"Mom! Dad!" He yelled gleefully as he pedaled closer to where we were all standing. "How was the ride from Beantown to Buffalo?"
"It was the usual, you know? It was long. But, it was worth it." Mr. Eichel patted Jack on the back before pointing at the scooter. "Hockey injury?"
Jack winced at the thought before coming out with the truth and nodded his head. "Yeah, it's a high ankle sprain on my left one. Doctor said that I have to refrain from any physical activity for about 6-8 weeks..."
"And how might have that occurred, Jack?" His mother inquired him as she hung her coat up in the hallway closet adjacent to the door.
"I had a collision in practice and had to be helped off the ice..." Jack looked down at his ankle that was healing nice and slow. "Well, it looks like dinner's about ready. Shall we get eating?"
---
"Dinner was certainly delicious tonight, Y/N." Mrs. Eichel complimented the dinner, which caused my cheeks to blush beet red.
"Oh, thank you, Mrs. Eichel! I can get my mom to email you the recipe if you'd like?" I forgot to mention the fact that the Eichels and my family were close friends and in fact, our moms are best friends with each other. I grew up with Jack next door and the friendship blossomed into a romance. As cliche as that sounds, it's true.
"That would be lovely. Thank you, Y/N." Mrs. Eichel chuckled to herself as she helped me grab the dessert from the oven. "I'm really glad that you and Jack are dating. You two seem like the perfect match for each other." She whispered and I smiled from ear to ear at her compliment.

"Thank you very much, Mrs. Eichel. Thank you and Mr. Eichel for being a part of my childhood and letting me spend time with Jack."
"Oh, don't worry about it. He's basically had a crush on you since you two were 3-years old!"
"Mom! Y/N! Are you done with the gossip session?" I heard Jack yell from the dining room.
"John Robert Eichel, you interrupt one more time, you're not getting any of your favorite dessert!" I shouted back at him and all he grumbled was, "and I love you too, Y/N L/N..."

RE: Souls War Apocalyse
When I and every other humans on earth have been summoned to the cursed world of Yvelmore, to serve as a front-line soldier in an impossible war against an invasion of nightmarish creatures, I knew right away that something was going to go wrong. I was right. The war? Hell, we lost it so much all the nations of the world have been destroyed and all the races have disappeared. Me? I was a veteran who survived until the end. Was I strong? Fuck yeah of course I was, except ... it was useless, I died like everybody else. The bad news? When I thought it was finally over, I woke up in the past, the moment I was summoned to the beginning of the war. Come on, seriously? Do I really have to go through all that again? What? And everything restarts every time I die? No... are you fucking kidding me? Right? Genre: Action, Adventure, Medieval Apocalypse, Times Loops, Progression, War & Fantasy, Grimdark, Magic, Horror, LitRPG (but RP). Tone: Despair at the firsts chapters (which makes sense for a story that begins with the end of the world, doesn't it?), and lots of humor and stupid situations after to lighten the tone of the story. (Oh, and the MC is NOT a psychopath, a rapist, a hypocrite, or human garbage, so sorry for those who like that, because I don't like that). Note: Expect this story to contain grammatical errors and occasional random conjugations. I am learning English, and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have some gaps. So if you're allergic to it, don't read this story, you would inevitably be disappointed.

A Loner's Calling

Unlike wars among countries, wars across continents were in a whole other league. Death was always nearby, creeping near to take away your life. Luckily, they were given abilities by the God in order to cope with their lack of experience, as well as a one month protection inside the heavenly dome for training, preventing their death. But Ren however, was given something else entirely. “[Loner] title activated, declining invitation to heavenly dome. Remaining in current world…” _____________________________________________________________________ A/N: Ok, so for those wondering about my other fiction, it's still alive. I plan on continuing it, and I plan on posting the next chapter for it about on or after Christmas. The reason for it was because all of my plans, layout, even outline, as well as some chapters I was suppose to release were deleted thanks to a mishap by my classmate. That really triggered me so I got unmotivated, but I plan on continuing it so don't worry. Also, I plan on writing this new series, much more because there is no more classes (CHRISTMAS BREAK HERE I COME!!!), sadly, I still have to take a removal exam because I failed one of my subjects (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!) Well anyway, that's enough for me, enjoy!
