"Yeah...Uh huh, well, that's very interesting to know. Did he give the dog a bath after that? What do you mean? I would wash the dog, you know that, S/N. It's been rolling around in mud and you just got new carpet installed in your house. Uh huh..." I was zoned out into the conversation I was having with my sister involving her dog, that I didn't hear someone enter the house. "S/N, I have to go, someone just came in. Yeah, talk to you later. And, you better wash that dog!"
Just like that, I hung up the phone and set it down on the counter, before heading out to the front door. When I got there, it turned out to be Connor with a beaming smile on his face and he was giddy like a school boy.
"You sure seem happy today," I joked, walking up to him and planted a kiss on his lips. "How was your day, babe?"
"It was quite great." He chuckled to himself, taking off his shoes. "I got a promotion today." That part he mumbled to himself.
My eyebrows raised themselves up my forehead, showcasing my confusion of what he meant. "Connor, you already are on the top line, what else do you mean by promotion?"
"Let's just say," he smirked from ear-to-ear, "I might've taken something from Gabe Landeskog..."
"What, the great hair award?" I sarcastically replied, which caused him to roll his eyes at me.
"No..." He shook his head, "you know how he was the youngest captain in the NHL, right..?"
"Yeah..." I urged for him to continue his sentence.
"I might've beaten him by just," he pinched his fingers tightly, only a tiny visible gap could be seen, "this much. Which was only 20 days, no big deal...."

"Connor McDavid." I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought his face inches apart from mine. "Are you for real?"
"Y/N, it is absolutely true." He kissed my forehead and genuinely smiled at me, "I'm the new captain for the Oilers."
I brought him into a kiss filled with passion and love, tears flowing down my cheeks. I was so proud of him at the moment.
"And," he continued to speak after breaking away from the kiss, "I got you a little something. But, you have to close your eyes..."
"Okay..?" I nodded my head and closed my eyes anyways, following his directions. Hearing him leave the house for a few minutes, I had started to contemplate what was going on. My eyes were shut for the next 5 minutes until I heard the door open again and heard Connor telling me that I could open my eyes, which I did.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw him holding a McDavid jersey with the 'C' patch now on the left side.
"Connor..." I awwed at the sweet gesture he made, "you didn't have to do this. I could've paid for the jersey myself."
"But," he handed the jersey to me, "it's yours to keep. Along with something..."
I reluctantly took the jersey from him and slipped it on, immediately feeling happy that hockey season was starting in the next week or so.
"Hey, Y/N? Can I ask you a question..?" Connor coughed his throat to grab my attention, which made me look at him. My reaction was to gasp as soon as I saw what he was about to do. "Y/N, you are the love of my life and I'm very happy that you are my girlfriend...But, I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore. I want to be your fiancé and later, your husband. So, Y/N, will you do me the honor? Will you marry me and become Mrs. Connor McDavid?"

The Necromancer in Magic School
"Magic cannot create life." This is one of the most basic tenets of magic. However, the Academy is a place of intense competition, and only those who rise to the top may recieve the services and resources that the Academy has to offer. 8 110First of The Author's Lore: Fatherly Dragon
And so, the chronicle begins. With a dragon adopting a baby human.
8 93Heroine? Yeah, no.
ISEKAI TITLE - It seems I've been reincarnated as a heroine in another world. Yeah, how about no? IMPORTANT NOTES - While the story is not allergic to wholesome moments, I would like you to understand that this is the story of a villain, not an anti-hero protagonist. Depression, psychopathy, dark themes, uncensored violence, horriffic suggestive themes; these are all a mainstay of the series. I would strongly advise anyone who wants to experience "Dr. Feelgood" to go look elsewhere. Summary - Kamiyama Nori is many things; a bully, a delinquent, gamer and fanatic of all things martial. What she is not however, is anyone's 'hero', and she will do everything she can to rid herself of that title, even if it means the deaths of many, many other people. Her jaded, manipulative and opportunistic nature, combined with a 'noble', divine birthright is bound to quake the hearts of any whom would dare to stand in her way, good and evil alike.

The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
