"Ugh, I have to go... I'm so sorry, Mikey..." Y/N groaned as she grabbed her phone out of her pocket and smiled at me in an apologetic manner. I looked at her confusedly, wanting to know what was going on, but she started to talk into the phone.

"Hi, Logan. I'm just hanging out with Michael...." She started to speak to her boyfriend, Logan, but honestly, I didn't see why she was with him in the first place. I knew for a fact that he had cheated on Y/N numerous times and he didn't want me to tell her. I wanted to tell her so bad, but I couldn't because I didn't want to break her heart by telling her the news. She was in 'love' with him, but I couldn't see what she saw in him.

"What are you doing right now?" She asked him through the phone and I swore, I heard him stutter for a few seconds.

"I-uh-I'm also at someone's house...." I heard him nervously reply back to her question when I knew he was probably at some girl's house at the moment. I wasn't sure what had exactly happened, but one of her hands flew up to her mouth and she immediately hung up the phone call. A frown started to appear on my face when I saw the tears glisten in her beautiful E/C eyes.

"W-what happened?" Words stumbled out of my mouth as she ran into my arms and immediately started to sob. Her salty tears were staining my shirt, but I didn't care if that happened. I just wanted to be there for her.

"He-he's cheating on me..." She broke down in tears and I gently ran my hand up and down her upper back, trying to calm her down.

"Y/N..." I softly spoke up as I handed a Kleenex to her before I sat down in a chair that was facing her. "How're you feeling?"

"Honestly, I feel like crap right now." She groaned as she blew her nose into the piece of tissue paper and threw it away in the trash can I had set down next to her feet. Quietly, I rose up from my seat and slowly walked over to the couch and sat down next to her and draped an arm over her shoulder and brought her closer to me.

"Maybe he just wasn't the right guy for you...." I softly mumbled to myself and she looked up at me.

"What-what do you mean, Michael?"

"I'm just saying that I'd treat you better than he did. You deserve a gentleman, Y/N. Someone who cares about you in a personal and emotional way. Someone who spoils you with tons of gifts just because he loves you, Y/N..."

We were snuggled up on the couch, watching 'Eddie the Eagle'. I'll admit, it has made me cry a few times, but it was one of her favorite movies and I just wanted to make her feel better. She had her head leaning against my shoulder and she was watching the movie intently. My arm was still draped over her shoulder and I couldn't focus on the movie. My eyes were looking at how she was smiling as she was watching the movie.

I had been in love with her for the longest time, but I was too scared to tell her. My heart shattered when I first learned about Logan and I knew he was trouble....

"Michael?" I felt someone poke my skin and when I had opened my eyes, I had found Y/N to be staring at me. My head rose up and looked at her in a confused manner.

"W-what just happened?" I groggily spoke as I rubbed some sleep out of my eyes.

"You said that you love me while you were asleep...Mikey, is this true?" Her eyes were piercing a hole into my eyes and after those words came out of her mouth, I was fully awake and alert.

"I-uh-It's true...I'm not lying when I said it, Y/N. I am truly in love with you, Y/N." She smiled up at me and I was scared for my life. Why was she smiling at me? I thought she wanted to leave or some sort of other negative reaction, but she seemed pretty happy.

"I am in love with you too, Michael Latta...Will you promise me that you'll never let me down?"
