"See, I told you to watch out for that patch of ice on the sidewalk..." I said to my best friend as she was getting her ankle wrapped for a cast and a splint was on her wrist.

"You didn't even tell me! You were busy looking down at your phone..." She muttered as she yelped out in pain due to extremity level of pain that a broken bone can give you.

"Look, I'm just going to grab something from the drink vending machine. Do you want anything?" I sighed as I grabbed a few dollar bills out of my purse and she nodded her head.

"Can I get a Coke? Thank you so much, Y/N! I owe you one..." She smiled at me as I rolled my eyes in a playful manner, but I did leave the room anyways.

As I was searching around the hallways for the vending machine, out of the blue, I had bumped into someone by accident. And luckily, no one had gotten hurt at the sight.

"I'm so sorry for bumping into you! I wasn't watching where I was going..." I spilled out as I helped him up and we looked at each other for a second.

"No, I should be the one apologizing..." He replied with a hint of a Swiss-German accent.

"It's both our faults, I guess..." I chuckled to myself as he shook his head in amusement. I outstretched my hand for him to shake and introduced myself, "my name is Y/N."

"It's nice to meet you, Y/N. My name's Nino." He shook my hand before we pulled away from the handshake and started to strike up a conversation.

"Your name seems pretty familiar to me, but I don't know from where...." I had blurted out as I recovered the money from the floor and he laughed softly at me.

"Does El Nino sound familiar to you at all, by any chance?" He looked at me with a smirk and my eyes immediately widened.

"You're not-are you? Oh my god..." I was at a loss for words and he nodded his head.

"Yep, #22 for the Wild..." He whispered to me since he didn't want to attract attention to himself.

I smiled at him as he asked me if I wanted to take a walk around the hospital with him and I had accepted the offer.

"Really! You've spent a few summers in Switzerland?" Nino looked at me with a surprised look on his face as I nodded my head.

"It's true! But, my grandparents from my mother's side live in Herisau, so not too far from Zürich..." I softly spoke as we walked around and it was silent for a few seconds before we started to talk again.

"And that's my stop...I'll text you later, Nino," I smiled and waved goodbye to him as he laughed and waved bye back to me.

"I'll see you on Thursday, Y/N." He waved at me before he disappeared to go back to his friend's room. I entered my friend's room to see her reading the latest issue of some magazine.

"Where were you for the past 90 minutes?" She looked up at me as soon as I shut the door.

"Let's just say, I bumped into someone..."
