"Are you ready to do this, Y/N?" My father, Prince Frederick asked me as I smoothed out my wedding dress.

"I'm more than ready, Dad," I smiled softly at him as I linked my arm around his and waited for the doors to open on the other side.

I took a long deep breath as I heard the 'Wedding March' starting to be played on the organ. The doors opened and I saw Jesse stand there at the end of the aisle in his suit with his hair gelled up. Jesse and I met back when he played in the World Juniors in Finland while I was there to watch hockey. I met him at the Finland-Slovakia game and hit off then. He eventually found out about me being a part of the Royal Family and he was completely understanding. Fast forward a few years later, he proposed and here we are.

We slowly walked down the aisle and I looked up at Jesse to find his eyes watering with the tears threatening to flow down his cheeks. When we reached the end of the aisle, I kissed my dad's cheek before Jesse held his hand out for me to grab and I did. I walked up the stairs and faced the wedding officiant.

"We are gathered here today, to celebrate the union of Her Royal Highness Princess Y/N and Mr. Jesse Puljujärvi." The officiant started to speak and we continued to listen. "Now, before we start, is there anybody here today that objects to this marriage? Please speak now or forever hold your peace..."

The entire church was dead silent and he continued.

"I, Jesse, take you, Y/N, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life." Jesse looked at me with his brown eyes looking at me as he was repeating the words after the officiant.

The officiant looked at me and asked me to repeat the words he had said to me.

"I, Y/N, take you, Jesse, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you with all the days of my life." I looked at Jesse with tears watering up in my eyes.

We both smiled at each other as both Jesse's best man and my maid of honor handed us the rings. Jesse held my left hand in his and slipped the ring onto my ring finger. After that, I held his left hand in mine and slipped his wedding ring onto his ring finger.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The officiant smiled at us and we both smiled at each other.

The crowd outside were roaring as Jesse and I both walked out to the balcony and waved at them. Of course, they were shouting at us for the long-awaited first kiss as Prince Jesse and Princess Y/N of Denmark.

Jesse lightly chuckled before he turned around to face me and cupped my face gently in his large hands. I looked up at his twinkling brown eyes and softly smiled. He leaned in and I met halfway, smashing our lips together to generate a passionate yet sweet kiss and the crowd roared.

We both pulled away from the kiss before it got a little too heated, but Jesse pulled me back in a for a little peck on the lips. I pulled away with a giggle before we waved to the crowd and politely left the balcony to get to the reception that was being held in a different part of the palace.

Jesse pulled me away from the crowded room and brought me outside in the hallway.

"Hey." Jesse smiled at me and I giggled at him.

"Hi." I replied back with a smile.

"I can't believe we got married today..."

"It's an unreal feeling. But, I'm glad to marry you, Jesse."

"I love you so much, Y/N. You may be an actual Princess, but you are my princess."

"I love you too, Jesse. And you are my prince..."
