"Hi, Nikita!" I smiled as I opened the door to see my best friend, Nikita standing at the door with some bags.
"Hi, Y/N! It movie night today no?" Nikita shyly smiled as he spoke in his improving broken English.
"Yes! Please, come in!" I stood out of his way and made way for him to enter my apartment.
He set the bag down on the coffee table before he gave me a hug, which was really a bear hug since he was 6'8" and I was Y/H. My laughter was muffled due to my face hiding in his waist. I pulled away from the hug and walked back to my kitchen to grab the two bowls of popcorn and other assortment of movie snacks.
Walking over to the living room where Nikita was, I set the snacks down on the coffee table before I took a seat next to him.
"What movie shall we watch, vozlyublennaya?" I smiled up at him and he shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know. You pick." Nikita smiled back at me and I opened up the Movies and TV store on my Xbox, typed up "Inside Out", and rented it for the night.

"That was good movie. What we watching next?" Nikita chuckled at me and I looked at him with a smile.
"I'll let you pick the movie, this time, Nikita..." I raised my hands and he took the controller from me and started to type up "The Good Dinosaur" and decided to rent it. Well, I guess it was 'Animated Movie Night' but that was fine with me!

My eyes were starting to droop as Nikita was gently running his hand up and down my arm. Out of the blue, I softly whispered, "Я люблю тебя, Никита Трямкин..." (I love you, Nikita Tryamkin...)

He must've immediately sat up because when he did, I woke up to see him looking at me with a shocked look on my face.
"Do you love me?" Nikita looked at me with the moonlight shining in his eyes.
"Wait, what?" I looked confused at him for a second before I gasped and covered my hands over mouth. "Did I-I say I love you in Russian?"
Nikita shyly nodded his head and I sheepishly giggled, hiding my face in his chest.
"Nikita! You should've told me!"
"Sorry! You falling asleep!" Nikita raised his hands in innocence as he was speaking in his broken English.
"Well," I turned around and faced him, "I wasn't lying when I said that..."
Nikita turned around to face me and he held my small hands in his big ones compared to mine. He looked at me with this happiness in his eyes before he leaned in and placed his lips on top of mine, kissing them softly yet rough.
"I love you too, Y/N." He whispered against my lips and I smiled into the kiss.
