I woke up again for the tenth time that night and I rolled over to find him hogging all the blankets. Great. Groaning to myself, I got up from the bed and checked the time, which was about 3 o'clock in the morning and I had classes to get to in the morning. He's been doing this for the past week or so and I was getting absolutely sick of it!
Going over to the closet to grab some extra blankets that I had stashed away, I opened the door and grabbed probably like one or two of them before I walked back to the bed and cuddled myself in like a big blanket burrito.
About a half hour later, I found myself awake and I looked over to see David taking all the blankets. Damn it, it's the middle of practically winter in Boston and you're going to hog all the blankets? Well, the two of us can play that game then, mister...

"What the!?" I heard David shriek and I softly smirked to myself as I nuzzled my head deeper into the pillow. "Who sets their alarm for 3:30 in the freaking morning?"
David sleepily smashed the snooze button on his phone, but it still kept blaring out "Something Big" by Shawn Mendes.
"Seriously, how do I turn this damn thing off?" David mumbled as he banged his phone on the bedside table before he groaned. "I got practice tomorrow, dang it!"
I giggled maybe a bit too loud and I felt the weight shift and I'm pretty sure that David was giving me a death glare. Waking up once again, I faced him with a pouty face, only for him to make one too, dang it!
"Why did you do this!?" David whined and I scoffed at him.

"For the same reason for why you're hogging all the blankets! I swear goosebumps are permanently clung to my skin because of this!" I pointed out to the goosebumps on my arm and he sheepishly giggled. "What's so funny, David?"
He laughed at me for a few seconds before he caught up with his breath, "you think I'm hogging all the blankets, miláček?"
I nodded my head and he laughed at me once again. "Why, what's so funny?"
"You start to hog the blankets when we fall asleep and you do when we wake up...I just hog it in the middle of the night when I get really cold...."
A blush rose up my cheeks and I hid my face in his chest in embarrassment, "why didn't you tell me!"
I playfully slapped him on the chest and he silently laughed to himself. "Because you're adorable when you're all rolled up in your little blanket burrito!"
"You really think so?"
"I really do, Y/N."
"Damn it, why do I love you so freaking much, Pastrnák?"
"Because I love you more than I love hockey, L/N."
"I love you too, Pasta."
