"Mikkel?" I heard sobs coming from the master bedroom and I saw boxes laying around the floor.
Oh no. No, no, no! This wasn't happening, was it?
Quickly, I took my shoes off and ran up to the bedroom to find Mikkel holding the phone in his hand.
"Babe? What happened?" I crossed my arms and walked up to him, softly playing with his hair.
"I-I got traded, Y/N..." He squeaked out, tears flowed out of his beautiful blue eyes.
"Where are we moving?" I quietly mumbled while I gently placed a kiss on his forehead.
"We have to pack up for our move to Denver...."
As I started to sit down next to him, he just started to silently sob. It was hard for me to see my husband crying his eyes out... Arizona was the team who drafted him back in 2008. He has a best friend who was going to be devastated when he learned about the trade.
"Did you tell Oliver about the trade?" I meekly mumbled, wiping his tears away from his cheek and smiled while my own eyes started to tear up.
"He was actually here when I got the call from Maloney. He left a few minutes ago..." He sighed, resting his head on my shoulder. "Should we get started on packing?"
Nodding my head, I stood up and outstretched my hand for Mikkel to take and he gladly accepted it. Walking down the stairs, I sighed as I was realizing that these were the last moments we were going to live in Arizona before Mikkel needs to head out to Minnesota for the Avs.-Wild game at Xcel Energy Center tomorrow.
I broke away from Mikkel's arms, grabbed a cardboard box, headed to the kitchen, and started to pack away the stuff.

We eventually finished packing the things up and Mikkel found a temporary place where we were going to stay in for a few weeks before we found our new place in Denver. Mikkel called Oliver to help out with the moving van and other stuff and he was giving us a ride to the airport since the movers took our cars to transport to Denver.
---
"I'm gonna miss you so much, man!" Oliver was on the borderline of crying in public and I saw Mikkel was starting to cry.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, Oli! Denver's not gonna be the same without you...." Mikkel held his arms out for Oliver to give him a hug and Oli accepted it.
"I don't think it'll be the same at games or practices without you there, Mikkel..."Oliver let go of Mikkel and turned to me, giving me a hug. "I'm going to miss my best friend so much..."
I giggled and returned the hug to Oliver. "Never change, Oliver...I'll see you next Monday in Denver, 'kay?"
Oliver chuckled and nodded his head. "I'll see you guys next Monday. Well, I better get going now. We have to play against the Penguins tomorrow...."
"Oh come here!" Mikkel chuckled and we got into a group hug before we started to tear up again and the intercom certainly didn't help!
"Just a reminder that the American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Denver will be boarding in a few minutes. Thank you for visiting Phoenix, Arizona and we hope you enjoyed your stay!"
Oliver pulled away from the hug and waved goodbye as we stepped into the plane and we waved back at him...
"Jag kommer att sakna er så mycket..." Oliver whispered in Swedish and we replied in Danish.
"Vi vil savne dig også, Oliver..." We sadly smiled and stepped into the tunnel to get on the plane.
---
"Well, here we are. Home..." Mikkel sighed as he set his luggage down on the floor.
"Yep, but Mikkel..."
"Ja, kærlighed?"
"Home is anywhere as long as I got you by my side, Mikkel."
"Jeg elsker dig så forbandet meget, Y/N Boedker...."
"I love you so damn much too, Mikkel Boedker...."
And just like that, we kissed each other and looked at each other's eyes. God, I love him so much!

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. You can also vote for it on Top Web Fiction and rate it on Web Fiction Guide. Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.

(This is my first novel, though the idea for it has been in the back of my mind for years, This is my attempt to put it to paper. Looking forward to any constructive criticism, however, i already have in mind, the entire plot and tone of the story, any revisions based on feedback will likely only be considered upon completion. As of now starting out, i haven't really settled on a timeline for regular updates But I aiming for at least two chapters a week at about 2000 words each. I will promise at least one chapter of that size at least once a week, until completion. I'm rather determined to put this story on paper ( or web page i guess).
