"I'll get the door for you, darling..." He softly kissed my forehead and I smiled, giving his cheek a kiss before I got out of the car with his help while I was holding D/N.

Connor walked ahead of me and got the door opened, smiling as I walked past him.

"Welcome home, D/N..." Connor quietly closed the door and tiptoed to where I stood, gently lifting D/N from my arms. "You go ahead and take a nap, darling...I'll take care of D/N for a few hours..."

I looked up at him and cracked a cheesy grin. "Are you sure you'll be able to handle it without my help?"

He nodded his head and I shrugged my shoulders, walking up the stairs and to the bedroom. As soon as my eyes locked its sight on the bed, I slowly strode over there and collapsed on the bed gently, slumber taking over my body.

"Y/N...Y/N!" I felt someone shake my arm and my eyes instantly opened to see a bleary figure, who turned out to be Connor.

"W-what's wrong, babe?" I groggily mumbled, sitting up from my laying position.

"D/N's been crying for the past 10 minutes and I fed her, changed her diaper, and tried to rock her... But nothing seems to be working..."

I held my arms out, signaling Connor to gently pass D/N to me. As soon as she laid in my arms, her cries subsided and she started to play with my fingers.

"All she wanted was time with Mommy..." I chuckled, but my smile turned into a frown after I heard Connor sigh. "Honey, what's wrong?"

Connor shrugged his shoulders, "what if I turn out to be a terrible father? What if our kids hate me? What-"

Immediately, I put a finger on his lips to make him quiet.

"Connor McDavid, you are not going to be a terrible father! You're such a great father to D/N. You always calm her down in ways that I don't know how... She and our future kids will never hate you! The other kids are in fact, going to be jealous of our kids for having such an awesome Daddy like you, Connor!" I smirked, handing D/N back to him, who just smiled at her father. "See, Connor? She loves you!"

Connor chuckled, kissing our daughter's forehead before he kissed my lips.

"I love you, Y/N McDavid and D/N McDavid..."

"We love you too, Connor McDavid."
