My fingers dialed his number without me having to look at the screen. I had it memorized like it was the back of my hand or the ice-cream man and his route.
The dial tone rang twice before he picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Christian... It's me."
"Who, Adele?"
"Alright, you can stop it with the sarcasm, Mr. Dvorak...."
"Let me guess, you want me to come over?"
"Yeah..."
"Don't worry, sweetheart, I was already on my way. I'll see you in a bit. See you soon, darling!"
And just like that, he hung up the call. After roughly a minute later, I heard the doorbell ring and I immediately ran down the stairs and opened the door to reveal a soaking wet Christian with a few bags in his hands.
"Honey, come in! You'll catch a cold, here, let me go get a towel..." I scurried off to the bathroom and grabbed for him a few fresh and warm towels.
The towels were still warm and toasty by the time I got to Christian, who thanked me, then grabbed his dry set of pajamas, and he hurried up to the bathroom to get changed.
When he got out of there and walked over to where I sat on the couch, I started to burst into laughter.
"What's so funny, darling?" Christian looked confused and I pointed at him.
"You're wearing Thomas the Train pajamas, you realize that, right?" I calmed down and I saw Christian starting to blush.
"Dammit, why did Mitch do this?"
"Did he do this or did you?"
"He knew that I was coming here, so he must've switched out my PJs...."
"Whatever you say, babe..."

We were having a marathon of both "Boy Meets World" and "Friends" when I heard Christian sleep-talking next to me.
"Hmm, I do take Y/N to be my lawfully wedded wife..." I heard Christian mumble and immediately, my eyes widened.
"Christian wants me to be his wife? Aww, that was so adorable!" My mind wandered to thoughts about being married to Christian.
"Don't mind if I do..." I saw Christian smirk and he started to kiss the couch pillow.
"Christian. Christian Dvorak, wake up!" I tried to shake him awake, but he didn't wake up, causing me to get my phone out.
With the maximum volume on my phone, I started to play "Lush Life" by Zara Larsson, to which he almost right away woke up.
"What's going on?" He spoke sleepily, looking confused.
"You were sleep-talking, babe..." I held in my laughter, not wanting to make him angry.
"Uhh, what did I exactly talk about?" Christian blushed, scratching the back of his neck.
"I'll just say, we're now Mr. and Mrs. Christian Dvorak..." I smirked, crossing my arms and his jaw dropped open.
"Was I talking in my sleep about the wedding again?"
"Wait, what?"
Christian grabbed something from the bag and knelt down on one knee, "Will you, Y/F/N, do me the honors? Will you marry me?"
"Oh my god, Christian...Yes! Yes, I will absoulutely positively marry you!" My hands went up to my mouth and muffled my sobs but I choked out an answer anyways.
He slipped the ring on my finger gently and stood up, walking over to me and kissed me softly yet passionately as if we were the last two people on Earth.
"I will always be in love with you like Cory and Topanga, Y/N..."
"And I will always be in love with you like Rachel and Ross, Christian..."

Almave
Welcome to AlmaVé. First thing you have to know is that it's a tragedy. Nope, not talking about my book yet. It's a tragedy that you're reading this instead of clicking on chapter 1. I did fail speech introductions after all. My story? Right that's what you're here for. My bad, try this: Lilia Hammond is reborn (cliché, but we all know we enjoy it when it's done for a purpose) as Syndra Sanmey. She was a graphic designer who hadn't caught her break yet. She was paralyzed for months before she was offered the opportunity to join a program that would allow her to-NOPE! not virtual reality. The doctors killed her and dumped her body. Tough. In her new world, Lilia has to fight herself to find out who she truly is. With the possibility to cast magic and a second chance at life, Lilia thinks she can really make something for herself. Her goal? Become the greatest artist the world had ever seen. The rub? World is a bit darker than anything she saw on earth. Thankfully, Lilia is getting quite familiar with the darkness inside her and her magic might just be the thing to save the-hey! wait it's not that kind of book. No saving the world. No hero syndrome. Just magic and blood and a bit of crafting. Yup. Fighting. Romance? Eh? What's that? The first arc is Lilia's shift from Earth to creating backstories for the three major characters. It's not funny and light. It's often dark and funny. Ah, I really should have gone through a punk-rock phase. Or goth. Would I look good with black hair? Hmm.. There are three MCs and they are Jackson, Daryl, and Lilia/Syndra. Daryl is currently kidnapped and Jackson just awakened his magic. I don't want to spoil (much) but soon things will be very fun to write. Hope to see you there! Leave a comment even if you're just stopping by so I can say hey! Chapters to be published twice weekly. Check tags before reading.

Prelude to a quest for employment
Niccolo had always dreamt of becoming an adventurer and all the fame and glory that went with it. As a young noble, he spent most time lying around and drinking, but when he hadn’t been doing that, he’d been practicing his swordplay. Now, he's finally out there in the world, together with a few companions that are motivated by more mundane and duller concerns, such as escaping poverty and famine. Set in a faux-Renaissance setting, with more heroism, snark and magic and less realism.

Through Mist, Veil, and Summer
Anna Lawrence is a quiet girl who'd rather sit and write poetry than bustle about with her peers. After an incident resulting in a panic attack and a trip to the hospital, Anna's foster mother sends her to stay with her aunt and uncle for the summer. Upon arriving in the small mountain town of Glenwood, Anna finds herself caught in the machinations of another world on the other side of the fog: warring witches, animal-headed skypirates, and the boldest, bravest, most interesting girl Anna has ever met. THROUGH MIST, VEIL, AND SUMMER is my homage to Studio Ghibli films. It's a fantasy romance with a dash of adventure and a sprinkling of self-contemplation. It's a story that moves a little slower, a little quieter. It is my fourth novel, written between October 1, 2017 and January 6, 2019.
