"Seriously, Y/N. Why am I here?" I heard groaning behind me but I ignored it.

"Just to help me pick some stuff out..." I mumbled as I looked through the colors and brands of nail polishes that were sold there.

"You know you look beautiful without makeup, Y/N...." Nikita muttered before he picked out a yellow polish. "How about this one?"

I looked at him like he was being silly. "I was actually thinking more of this one?" I pulled out the purple polish and he nodded his head.

"Ok, what's next on the list?" Nikita looked at me like a lost puppy.

"I need some shampoo..." My mind clicked and we walked over to the hair care section, looking over at the variety of shampoos and conditioners.

I grabbed my shampoo and conditioner that I always buy and put that in my check-out bag. Walking over to where the shower gels were, I grabbed one bottle that smelled like Christmas cookies and another bottle that smelled like vanilla ice-cream.

"What do you think, Nikita? Should I get Christmas cookie or the vanilla ice-cream shower gel?"

"I'd go with the vanilla ice-cream because I like ice-cream..."

"What a brilliant answer, Nikita..."

"Thank you, I try."

After shopping at Ulta, we went to Tim Horton's to get some drinks and food but bumped into one of Nikita's good friends.

"Nikolai! Haven't seen you since the draft!" Nikita walked up to his friend and hugged him.

"Здравствуй Nikita. Hey Y/N. How are you guys doing?" Nikolai gave Nikita a hug and gave me one.

"We're doing fine. What brings you to town?" I smiled, crossing my arms.

"Oh, the Barracudas play the IceCaps tomorrow night and we arrived this morning... Speaking of which, Nikita, shouldn't you be at practice that starts in a half hour?"

"Oh, crap! Thanks for reminding me!"
