"I really want to, Daniel... "

"I'm telling you, it's a little difficult...."

"Please, Daniel? I think it's interesting."

"Oh alright! I'll teach you how to speak Dutch..."

"Yay! Thank you!"

I hugged my boyfriend, Daniel Sprong, as he finally agreed to teach me Dutch; his native language. Daniel smiled, giving my forehead a kiss before he began.

"In Dutch: 'Hi, my name is Daniel.' is 'Hallo, mijn naam is Daniel.'" Daniel started out. "But for you, it would be 'Hallo, mijn naam is Y/N."

"Hallo, mijn naam is Y/N." I stumbled out at first before I got the sentence out. "How did I do?"

"You did very well. Next, 'Mijn favoriete sport is ijshockey.' is the Dutch translation for 'My favorite sport is ice hockey.'"

"Mijn favoriete sport is ijshockey. "

"Excellent! I'll give you a harder one this time. 'Mijn favoriete speler in de NHL is Daniel Sprong.'"

"Mijn favoriete speler in de NHL is Evgeny Kuznetsov," I smirked, knowing that he wanted me to say his name but I decided to trick him.

"Can't argue with you there, he is one of the top players in the league...Uhh, 'Ik hou van je naar Uranus en terug.' Which is Dutch for 'I love you to Uranus and back.'"

"Ik hou van je naar Uranus en terug."

"Wow, you are getting so good at this. At this rate, you might even speak Dutch better than me!"

"You're the master, babe...I'm just the student...."

"Yeah, but it seems as if you've been speaking it for years!"

"Aww, thank you, Daniel." I turned to kiss his cheek, but he turned so I could kiss his lips.

"What do you say, we have a lazy day for the rest of today?"

"That sounds perfect to me."

"It just surprises me how he survived on Mars for that long..." I looked up at Daniel, who just chuckled.

"You do realize that it's just a movie, right?" Daniel smiled, giving my forehead a kiss.

"Seriously, if I were stuck on Mars, I wouldn't have like to grow potatoes in my own crap..."

"Once you say that, yeah it does sound kinda disgusting..."

"But if that's the only way to get the crops growing on Mars, then yeah, I'd do it..."

"The Martian has sparked some very interesting conversations between us today..."

"It's such a good movie, though!"

"You just like it because Matt Damon's in it, don't you?"

"I can't confirm or deny that...."

Daniel immediately started to tickle me, causing me to emit some shrieks that were quite loud...

"Daniel! S-stop, I-I can't breathe. I can't breathe." I surrendered, but he just had a devil smile on his face.

"Not until you say 'I love you' in the three languages..."

"Ok, fine... I love you; Je t'aime; Ik hou van jou, Daniel."

"I love you; Je t'aime, and Ik hou van jou; back to you, Y/N."
