"And down goes Mitch Marner after a severe hit to the boards by Taylor Hall! Marner's slowly getting up and is skating back to the locker room with some assistance from the trainers and Hall has been ejected from the game..." My mouth dropped open, drawing my attention to the scoreboard, where they showed Mitch going into the locker room. I grabbed my ID pass that Mitch gave to me at the beginning of the season when we moved to Toronto from my purse and headed out of the WAGs room. I said goodbye to the other WAGs before going down to the locker rooms.
Once I got there, I saw the medics looking over at him, which got me worried. Walking over to where Mitch was, I asked the medic about what happened.
"Good news, he has no structural damage to his right arm. Bad news, is that he suffered a concussion and a fractured right arm from the hit by Hall... He'll be out for about 6-8 weeks." The medic got his cast on and put the sling on, "So, I'd advise him to stay off his right arm and get some rest for that concussion of his."
I nodded, before helping Mitch up and thanked the medic. I drove Mitch back to our place, which was not that far from the Air Canada Centre. Once we got there, I helped Mitch get inside so he didn't bump into anything else. I told him to sit on the couch while I made some soup for him. After making the soup, I went over to where Mitch was sitting on the couch, handing him the soup. He gobbled it down, must've been hungry....
"I can't believe that I'm out for 2 months..." Mitch sighed sadly, gluing his eyes to the TV, which had the Maple Leafs vs. Oilers match.

I grabbed the remote from Mitch and turned it off.
"What did you do that for!?" Mitch turned around, looking at me.
I rubbed his back with the pad of my thumb and cooed, "I didn't want you hurting over it ok? Why don't we play a round of Game of Life?"
I grabbed the board game, setting it down on the coffee table. It was really competitive, I jokingly told Mitch that my husband in the game was Joe Sugg, but he made me take it back by saying that he was the cutest NHL player. I refused to before he started to give me kisses on my cheek. I finally gave up after about 16 kisses from him.
"How are you feeling now, Mitch?" I was "trapped" underneath him, after he laid on top of me on the couch.
"I'm feeling better! Thank you for cheering me up Y/N." He smiled, giving me a real kiss on the lips.
"Now come on, Dumb and Dumber awaits us." Mitch signaled towards the TV.
