"What do you mean you can't make it to Toronto, Y/N!?" Mitch angrily sighed, trying to hold his phone in his gloved hands.
"I'm stuck in Montreal due to the thunderstorm. If you see Tom, tell him that his sister loves him." You tried cheering Mitch up, "I gotta go, score a goal for me, Marner!"
He sighed, hanging up the call. Both of you couldn't handle the weather or the Earth, but the truth is, you already were in Toronto! While inside a cab to the Air Canada Centre, you called your brother, Tom Wilson.
"Hey Tom, are warmups almost done?"
"Yeah, we're practicing with our lines and the defensive pairs... Why?"
"I'm planning to surprise Mitch... I'm on my way to the Centre, I got my ticket and everything. Why don't you work with a few guys from the Maple Leafs, except for Marner."
"Y/N, just spit it out already! The entire Atlantic Conference knows about your crush already!"
"Wait, how do they know that?"
"A certain Russian accidentally winks at me whenever you are mentioned in my interviews..."
"It's either Burakovsky, Kuznetsov, or Ovechkin..." You joked, before André butted in.
"For the last time people! I'm not Russian!"
"It's Ovechkin Y/N, gotta go! I'll see you later!" Tom quickly hung up the call.
"Hey WIlson, your sister's here!" Latta bumped Tom's shoulders, while he rolled his eyes.
"Shut up Latta! And besides, André was looking for you..." Tom pointed towards Burakovsky's direction, so we were alone.
"I also talked with Bernier and Gardiner. They said to go over to the locker room at the end of the game."
You nodded and let Tom go join the team while you went to find your seat.

The game went by so fast, Capitals won the game 3-2, but at least Mitch scored a goal and assisted Gardiner with the other one.
Tom waved the "signal" to you, making you get your stuff together and wait by the locker room.
"I'm calling Y/N, hold on!" Mitch dialed your number, which made your phone beep it's loud ringtone... Mitch turned around and his jaw went slack.
"Y/N!? What are you doing here!?" He came up to you and hugged the life out of you.
"Surprise?"
"Who's idea was it?"
"It was my idea, but Tom, Jake, and Jonathan helped out."
Mitch laughed before he looked into Y/E/C eyes and kissed you all of a sudden. You kissed him back before someone cleared their throat.
"Mitch, aren't you gonna ask her?" Tom winks, grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
"Gonna ask me what?"
"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?"
