I took Kristy to the park near the cinema to enjoy the moment of being alone with her.

What? I just simply appreciate this right time that I am allowed to feel this romantic about her right?

Right...

So, she walks toward a bench slowly and gracefully sitting down.

"What are you thinking about?", I asked while slowly approaching her.

She seems quite lost in her own trail of thoughts.

So I sit beside her quietly, wondering what has been inside of that pretty little head of hers.

She opened up her mouth several times before closing it back. Looks like quite some thinking she's been doing there.

But after a while,

"You remember that time when Candice tagged along eating her lunch with us?"

"Hummm yeah..?", I answered quite unsurely as to where this will go.

"...and she asked me if I am the other lesbian on the squad?"

"So it's true then?", I cut her before she tried to form another sentence. I can be impatient sometimes!

"What?", this time it's her turn to form some creases on her forehead.

"Is it true that you are only experimenting something with me...?"

"...I mean, who am I kidding right? Of course you are! You are being nothing but nice to me all this time! I practically forced you to be my girlfriend and then..."

"!"

I stopped my rambling straight after I heard her melodious voice softly calling out my name.

"Will you at least listen to me first before you started to ramble hummm honey?", she asked politely while gently smile at me.

"I'm not rambling...", I muttered slowly while tried to focus on whatever she wants to say.

"First of all you didn't force me to do anything okay? I'm doing it willingly just as much as you do."

"But..!", I stopped when I saw her glaring at me. She can be scary at time.

"You were kinda right before ya know? About me being homophobic. I never thought I was behaving like one until you asked me that out of the blue. What makes you asked me that by the way?"

I composed myself before answered her.

"It's just something I've been wondering for some times I guess. I saw your disgusted expression when we saw Jaeden and Nicholas or any other gay couples in our school. I'm sorry if my question somewhat offend you."

I felt kinda bad to put her on the spot like that when I asked her last time.

"It's okay. Like what I've said before, maybe I was quite a homophobic..."

"So you are not one now?", I cut her impatiently.

What? It's just a best opportunity for me to ask her that kind of question right?

"You are so impatient aren't you?", she chuckled amusingly.

"...and yeah I don't think I can be one now. With my chance of being your girlfriend and how you treated me nicely like this, how can I be one?"

Her answer somehow giving me some hopes. That maybe, just maybe, whatever is happening between us can be a real thing someday..!

"And we never talk about you ya know? Like do you like girls or...?", she trailed her words slowly.

She is right! We never actually talk about this and I never openly coming out to anyone. Eventhough I'm pretty sure my family have instinct about my special way of liking people, they never interrogated me.

"Well yeah! I know that I kinda have some strong attractions for girls all this time. I didn't realize since when I have this kind of feelings, I just do.."

"Guess I should have known it since that time I caught you drooling over Naya Rivera whenever she's on screen and how you listened to her songs to sleep hummm..", teased Kristy before earning some playful slaps from me.

"I was not drooling over her and she does have an amazing voice ya know!", I responsed bashfully, knowing that my face already turning a dark shade of red.

She chuckled amusingly while shaking her head staring at me.

"What?", I asked uneasily. She does know her effect on me yet she still keep doing something like that and in this case is openly staring at me.

"Am I the first person you coming out to?", she asked quite seriously.

"I guess... Besides you are my best friend and friend should tell each other everything right..?"

"...but, I never thought my way of coming out to you was when I confessed my feelings for you..", I nervously chuckles to lessen the awkward situation we are currently in.

"Thank you.", she whispered it slowly that makes me questioning myself about what did she say.

"Huh?"

"Thank you for never leave me. You know that time when I hid myself but you still came and find me and still be the bestest friend that I will ever have, you are really the best thing that's ever been mine...", she sing-song the last part.

I giggled out loud when I realized she's been quoting Taylor Swift. That girl knows too well how much I adore Tay!

Such a dork! My dork!

Slowly, we got up and I took her home. I really want to impress her by giving her the best and fun first date ever while didn't really want to cross her curfew.

"So, this is it!", Alexandra started the conversation after some comfortable silence.

"Yeahhh this is it!", Kristen response to it shyly.

"... thank you Xandra. I really have the best date ever.."

"Well, do I earn the second date then?", Xandra cheekily asked.

"...and maybe you can accompany me to watch Batman VS Superman when the movie come out..."

"Ahhh... Yeah of course! Just we'll never know that we will go there as girlfriends or just best friends...", replied Kristen.

At that time, Alexandra realized that she just have another few days to still earn the title of being Kristen's girlfriend. Her birthday is coming soon. She feels something weird inside of her tummy that she never experience before. Like there's something inside of her body currently stomping around her heart, that makes her want to vomit but also want to hide herself anywhere.

"Heyyy please don't make that kind of expression. You know I hate it to see your sad face. How about we savor this current moment and think about that when the time has come.", Kristen tried to neutralize the sad face of Xandra.

"Okay. Goodnight...girlfriend.", Xandra tried not to think about what will happen later. She should live this moment to the fullest right.

And then she turned around to continue her journey to go back home. But, suddenly she felt a soft hand wrapping around her wrist while gently tugged her and turned her around.

When she feels a pair of soft lips slowly claimed her own, and that said owner slowly tugged her shirt's collar, pulling near her, she feels out of the breath suddenly.

After that she feels that said lips gently moving around her and wrapped her arms tightly around, she knows too well that she should reciprocate the action.

So she did!

"Goodnight girlfriend...", hushed Kristen before pulling back and entered her home.

And now Xandra doesn't know how is she still alive...??
