《KARNA - MAHADEV'S DECIPLE》BEGINING OF DOWNFALL

Indraprastha was degrading day by day doom of Pandavas brother begins from swamvar of daughter of Krishna. Arjun was first but surely not the last. Each Pandavas were getting affected by it some were aware but one is ignorant while other chose to be ignorant either because of shame or for their pride. But it was just start and none were aware of it. Each of their decisions were taking towards their own downfall and with them their family too but their ego was stopping them from thinking about it. Wives of Pandavas of course noticed their behavior change but upon asking they told them everything is fine and well. The children were unaware of everything. But because of everything they have become very spoilt. From the childhood their thoughts mirrored their father and with time it was embedded in them. They were slowly staying from path of Dharma and becoming cruel but who can blame them if their father were role model. Pandavas too becoming insensitive towards their own citizens and were opressing them especially lower citizens or one dare to tell them so. All in all Indraprastha was on decline and anyone with discerning eyes could tell that but it's the consequences of their own actions and none could save them from it.
Arjun never came out of his chamber out of shame and fear that his loss of knowledge would spread throughout causing more damage than it is. He knew Ashwatthama's curse was beginning to take effect but he couldn't do anything because he was sure he was the first one to face it but chose to keep it himself like in childhood he kept trick to fulfill the narrow headed pot by Dronacharya by using divyastra to himself because he knew his brothers especially Jyestha and smallest were intelligent than him so he wanted those knowledge unique to himself. He was very scared if the news reached to others then they would forsake him, he knew he was reason for confidence for his brothers and because of it in several occasions he dared to oppose even his Jyestha or Bharata Bheem but now he is reduced to nothing forget vyuha formation or destruction he even forget his entire knowledge of divyastra and wasn't sure like before he could hit bulls eye on the target. Another reason for his fear was to face Krishna or Balram if they came here on behalf of Subhadra. He would never accept he was wrong but anger if mahabali Balram is not something he was capable of facing especially now. He gave his responsibility as senapati of Indraprastha to his brothers especially to Bheem.

Yudhishthir who was ruling Indraprastha made several laws which could be said against the vedas itself but the psychopaths of upper caste supported him because it benefits them very much. He knew he had become a joke of Samrat in Aryavart. Repeated insults from Karna and his family was enough to push in a deep ravine of loathing the entire lower caste so he became cruel without even realising. One such law was making the hidden law of not divulging sacred knowledge to lower castes. Though it was practised, none of the Kingdom has yet to make that a law but he did. Not only that but severe taxes on lower castes and big donations to brahmin were enforced. His such steps resulted in citizens leaving Indraprastha but he never cared, his family was insulted by lower caste only since he can't take upto them those under him would have to face his wrath on behalf of his family. In his vanity and anger he forgot the sacred duty of a king. For a king his kingdom came before everything, even family but he was doing it exactly but not everything could be blamed on the curse actually most of it was him only. But he still has his pride intact, in fact quite the opposite he was adamant in proving till he was doing Dharma no curse would affect him or his family.
Yudhishthir wasn't only one who were torturing the lower cate but bheem himself took immense pleasure in enforcing laws of his jyeshtha for two reasons one was obvious that like his Jyestha he hates karna and second is he get pleasure in showing his might to anyone and everyone. He likes how everyone cowers at his mere presence. It gives him sense of accomplishment. Bheemsen himself didn't realise that slowly he was losing the strength he was so much proud of, sometimes he would get tired by not very strenuous exercise but chucked it out as mental fatigue because everything happened in these days. But later it progressed as dat by day sparing with soldiers became difficult for him if not for his hard shell from birth mere three soldiers became too hard for him to handle. He was never one to use skills or agility but always focused on his brute strength where he had natural advantage. It has come to a point where mallyudh became difficult for him and he realised it. He, just like Arjun, decided to keep it himself for his feeble pride. He refrained from practicing with soldiers and alone he did all he could but it was no different than when he was just amature in handling weapons. He had similar fear like Arjun and another fear that if other kingdoms became aware of it they would undoubtedly attack Indraprastha as it was that beautiful why should it not be lord Vishwakarma himself made it.

Nakul was the one actually who was feeling the worst few days before he had gone hunting and in his drunk state he actually misbehaved with a rishi who was busy in tapasya and was not neat. He broke his tapasya and called him ugly and unworthy of being in his presence as his ugliness was eyesore for the most beautiful man in the Aryavart, he was then holding a mirror in his one hand to see his beauty and praising it while degrading the Rishi. Rishi was very angry with him as he not only disturb his tapasya but repeatedly insulted him for mere outer appearance he then cursed him that whenever he saw his reflection in anything it would show him his disfigured face. After that mirror or any reflective thing because nightmare to him. First thing he had ordered to do was to remove all mirrors from his room but gold, chandeliers or anything reflective became dreadful to him. It was so difficult for him to do anything, take bath, eat etc. Wherever there is reflective thing he would have to close his eyes because it shows him mutilated himself. It had been a relief that only he was seeing this, not others. But his deed did raise questions but he never told anyone why he did that, not even to his twin Sahdev or his wife. His life was hell from then onwards.
Sahdev the youngest was intelligent enough to realise the effect of Ashwatthama curse when he was unable to recall the question asked by Jyestha in matters of finance but he spoke something but what shocked him was that Jyestha agreed to it. He at least knew he was wrong but his Jyestha almost enforced as if he himself didn't know. For remedies je licked himself in the library but no knowledge he read was something he could hold or remember. In desperation he practiced his axe or any weapons but it did nothing but to confirm his deduction. From then on he closely watched his brothers and results were terrifying because he can see the changes. It became apparent to him that the Dharma of hi jyeshtha, strength of bharta Bheem, constant urge Nakul to look in mirror and his knowledge has disappeared because of one thing only and if he is not wrong bharta arjun would be no different but his Jyeshtha seems unaware and others were hiding it deliberately even he himself.
Indraprastha itself wasn't stable because the balance between four classes of society diversify too much. In other kingdoms it was vaishya or shudra that were majority of population it helps in kingdom running their economy or provide services. Though upper caste to help but they are for education and protection. A kingdom would fall down in lack of any of the class but Pandavas were not believing it and the taxes they got was enough for them to undermine the importance of lower caste but questions is for how long till treasury would be in fumes.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

8 92Path of the Shaman [HIATUS]
Talin Greymarch attends the prestigious Sovereign Guard Shaman Academy, the greatest institute of learning for shamanic cultivation in the kingdom of Ilios. As he struggles with his day to day school life and cultivation, little does Talin know that he has fallen into the middle of a conspiracy that threatens to shatter the world once again. A merger of the tropes and stylings of Eastern cultivation or Xianxia with Western Sword and sorcery fantasy stories, Path of the Shaman seeks to blur the line between the two. My goal is to establish a believable fantasy world, and I want to pace the story so that I can do that properly. If that sounds appealing to you please give this story a chance. Release schedule: My schedule will be a little inconsistent due to my job, but I aim to release about twice a week.
