Four years have passed.

Karna was doing his Surya pooja and beside him were two children. These two were none other than 7 years old Rudra and 5 years old Ghatotkach. After Pooja and donation of alms. They seperated their ways. Karna went to palace with Ghatotkach while Rudra went to Shiv- Parvati temple.

Last four years was fruitful to Rudra. He woke up and after his pooja with Pitashree he went to temple for his meditation as he felt he can meditate more easily here. So according his promise he daily meditate for three hours. His education on the other hand went more smoothly than other have expected. Seeing him in gurukul with other children was surprise for teachers as well as other students. But it was planned by Karna and Avantika, they told the teacher to treat him like any other student and no partiality to be shown to him. But his excellence told everyone than no such thing were necessary, in just six months he finished all that was taught in gurukul. Since he was too small to train in weapon and other combat. He finished his schooling. After that sage Vishwamitra himself decided to take him as Disciple and teach him vedas, puran, etc. In this four years to everyone shock he has not only learnt but understood every scriptures taught to him. Before he turned five years old Sahe Vishwamitra has focused in building a solid foundation in his body physically and mentally, after he turned Five his weapon training began. He was taught the basic of all the weapons. His schedule became too busy but sage vishwamitra allowed to have him his childhood and not to burden him too much. He was taught scriptures in sun rise to morning before sabha and weapons in afternoon till sunset. The time in between and before after was to have Rudra enjoy his childhood. Rudra never complaint and learned everything seriously. In two years he nearly masters the basics of every weapons. But his favourite was bow, swords and mace. He feels most comfortable using them. He became very good but nobody has taught him more than the basics.

After his three hours of meditation he came back to palace. He had breakfast with this family. After that he went to practice area where sage vishwamitra was already present there.

Rudra : Pranipat Gurudev.

Vishwamitra : Karyan ho Putra.

Rudra : What will I learn Today gurudev.

Vishwamitra : Nothing Putra as of yesterday your education with me is completed. Now you have to leave here for your further education.

Rudra : But why Gurudev, you are teacher of lord Rama and Laxman. You have even taught Mata so why can't you teach me everything too.

Vishwamitra : Because Putra, thee is someone more qualified than me to teach you and you have to leave here to experience the life outside of Suryaprast. You have intelligence son but you need wisdom. I want you to go to mahendragiri and convince Bhagwan Parshuram to be your teacher.

Rudra : But Gurudev, he only teaches Brahman. Will he teach me?

Vishwamitra : That is your test Putra. Go, I wish you success.

Rudra : Ji Gurudev.

Rudra then returned to palace and his family members about what sage vishwamitra has told him. Karna and Avantika knew why sage vishwamitra has said that. Radha, Adhiratha, and hidimba were surprised by sudden request of sage vishwamitra. Rudra told everyone that he will leave now only, radha told him to take soldiers with him till he reach Mahendragiri but Rudra denied. Hidimba and Radha were trying to change his mind but Karna helped Rudra saying it wasn't right. As it is Rudra's test so he will have to go alone. Rudra assured them that that everything will be fine. He is more than capable of handling some bandits or anyone that he may come across. After getting blessings from everyone and a tearful hug from Ghatotkach Rudra left. Before leaving he changed his clothes to not attract any unnecessary attention to him.

Next day after Rudra left Ghatotkach decided to join gurukul and start his education too so that he will helpful to his brothers when he will return. On request of Hidimba karna decided to take Ghatotkach as his Disciple after he completes gurukul while she will teach him his Rakshas power. Everything returned Normal in Suryaprast but if anyone notice they will see that liveliness of Suryaprast seemed to missing.

Rudra who was traveling towards Mahendragiri on his horse reached Mahendragiri after 20 days. As during these days he stopped several tes for his pooja, meditation or helping anyone in need during his journey. He reached Mahendragiri during night so he decided to climb up in the morning. He decided to rest under a tree as he has done in these 20 days. He fed his horse and layed under tree to sleep. During his education with vishwamitra he was taught various thing which included surviving in the wild, herbs, medicines etc.

Next day after his Pooja and meditation he went up the mountain and after traveling for two hours he a hermitage of Bhagwan Parshuram. He stopped his horse. He took his weapons from the horse and hung them on himself and went inside the hermitage. When he reached there he saw a sage was doing meditation in front of Shivling and has an Axe beside him. Seeing him he understood that he was none other than Bhagwan Parshuram, he too sat down and put his weapon beside himself and started meditation and chanting his favourite Mantra. After one hour Bhagwan Parshuram opened his eyes and was surprised to see a child was in front of him and was meditating. He can see the child was not more than 7-8 year old. He was wearing but commoner clothes but has weapons beside him. The most enchanting things was his expression of pure focus and Rudraksha that was hanging by a thread on his neck. Seeing rudraksha he immediately knew it was not a common rudraksha but the rudraksha of Mahadev's. He was impressed by the boy. He closed his eyes and poured gangajal in his hand to know about this child. He saw everything about Rudra he smiled thinking that he might get q worthy Disciple but before that he has to test him throughly.

Parshuram : Who are you child?.And why have you came here?

Rudra : I am Rudradhitiya, son of Radhey Karna and Mata Avantika. I am prince of Suryaprast. I came here to learn from you.

Parshuram : Kshatriya? How dare you come here. Don't you know I only teaches Brahmans.

Rudra : I know but you have taught Parpitamah Bheeshma, he is a Kshatriya so I came here hoping you will teach me too on request my Gurudev Vishwamitra.

Parshuram : If you already have sage vishwamitra as teacher then why did you come here. Go away I have nothing to teach you.

Rudra : My Gurudev told me you are more qualified than him. I won't go until you accept me as student, it is test of my Gurudev and I don't want to fail my test.

Parshuram : I will say again go away, I have said I have nothing to teach you.

Rudra : I already told you I won't go till you accept me as your student.

Parshuram : Then do as you wish,

Saying that Parshuram left there but Rudra stayed he once again closed his eyes and began meditating. Since then a tussle started between Bhagwan Parshuram and Rudra. Rudra was adamant on being student so he followed Bhagwan Parshuram all the time except meditation. He even began helping Parshuram in his daily chores like cleaning, bring water, massaging him. Parshuram didn't pay attention to him but didn't stop him from helping or serving him instead he became extra strict and start nitpicking in everything but Rudra never replied back but follwed his direction. Like this he started living with Bhagwan Parshuram.

Days became week and week turned into months. Five months passed like that. During these five months Parshuram was deliberately testing Rudra in various ways about various qualities like patience, obedience, passion, humility, determination, tolerance etc. He was pleased that Rudra has passed all his tests. He only had one final test that he decided to test and it was none other test of talent.

Parshuram : You are very stubborn child, seeing that you have served me five months. I will give you one chance but if you won't pass then you have to leave.

Rudra : Thank you Bhagwan, I promise you if I don't pass my test I will leave from here.

Parshuram : Don't be too happy this test won't be easy. You will know when you will face it go and pick up you weapons

Rudra Nodded and did what he was told. He went and picked all his weapons. Parshuram then told Rudra to follow him. They both came to clear field besides hermitage and then Bhagwan Parshuram closed his eyes and a copy of Rudra came into existence.

Parshuram : To become my student you will have to defeat your mirror image, remember he is exact copy of you so he have same strength and skill as you.

Rudra Nodded hearing this. Parshuram then became judge of match and signalled the beginning of match. Both rudra then first brought up their spear to begin the fight. The fought with spear but being in similar strength and skill no one was able to gain upper hand both used all their skill and strength resulting in their weapons being broken, then both fought with axes which resulted in same. Then mace, sword and Archery battle took place but like before no results were brought out. Both of them fought with everything they got but despite that the fight was draw at best. The fight went on in form of hand to hand combat.

Bhagwan Parshuram was watching everything, though his expression was blank but he was impressed by skill level to pass this test it needs perseverance. He was waiting to see whether Rudra ha s enough will to withstand and pass his test or he will fail. Rudra did disappointed Bhagwan Parshuram and with his never wavering will he was finally able to get his mirror image surrender to him. But he didn't have any energy left after that all the adrenaline rush that he had was gone and he lost his conciousness. Bhagwan Parshuram caught him before he can hit the ground.
