Everyone was standing in barren land in Ujjain and were waiting for Chandrasur. Karna was standing on ground and in front of everyone. Karna has his back straight and had blank expression on his face. Behind him three Chariot were there. One of them had Vikramaditya, other had krishna and Rukmini on it and lastly on Rashmi Dushala, Subhadra and Avantika were standing. On both sides of these Chariots two horses were standing one side it was arjun and Nakul while other side Ashwatthama and Sahdev. Everyone except karna, krishna, Rukmini, Dushala and Subhadra had their weapons in their hand. Vikramaditya has bow, Avantika has a sword, Ashwatthama and Arjun too has their bows in their hand, Nakul has a sword and Sahdev had axe. They were waiting for Chandrasur and whatever asurs he brought with him.

Soon there seems to a typhoon arrive there, it settled down and Chandrasur was there with 5 Asur and the betrayer of Ujjain with him. The asurs looked ferocious, they too had their weapons with then. Two of them has swords, one had axe, two had spiked mace with them. Chandrasur also had bow in his hands which shocked everyone. The betrayer has sword in his hands. Both parties looked at eachother and Chandrasur laughed.

Chandrasur : Vikramaditya you have brought just these many people. Where are your army or are you surrendering?

Vikramaditya : Chandrasur, these many people are enough. After all it just one on one duel.

Chandrasur : You are right, but you brought four women here too and this Krishna is also here. Good, very good after defeating and killing your warrior my helper and me will kill you all and capture other women with Avantika. Hahahaha. They are very beautiful I am sure asurs wouldn't mind sharing them hahahah

Dushala, Subhadra was pale. Everyone else were angry not more than Karna who now had complete attention on Chandrasur. Arjun and Krishna has seen this expression before it was a calm before tsunami. Everyone in their mind thought Chandrasur was already dead. Wasn't Jarasandh example enough to know Karna's protective behaviour towards Dushala.

Krishna : Stay in your limit, Chandrasur.

Chandrasur : What can you do Krishna, I got boon from Mahadev even tridevs can't kill me.

Nakul : We know your boon Chandrasur, but today you will die.

Chandrasur : Hahahah... You know only half of it, other half I kept secret. Listen you little prince. Other half of it is I can't be captured and killed by person who defeated Indra and got his Vaasvi shakti and his blessing. We all know how prideful Indra is, if he got defeated he will never give his blessings and vaasvi shakti to that person even if he was Indra's son and by defeating Indra I mean defeating him using Vajra only tridevs can doo that. I can only be killed by vaasvi shakti that too when I am completely weak. So I am immortal. Hahahaha....

Everyone got worried only krishna was smiling again. They were worried that their plan of either killing Chandrasur or capturing his is of no use now.

Karna (strangely calm): We have wasted enough time, lets fight now.

Chandrasur : So you are the one that accepted the challenge and wanted to die. Idiot even after hearing my boon you still wanted do die the so be it.

Karna took out his Vijaya bow and they both started fierce archery fight. The both rained arrows, divyastra and asurastra at each other. Karna was overwhelming Chandrasur. Chandrasur signalled his subordinates to attack the Ujjain's fighter. So all battle took place. Nakul fought asurs with sword, Sahdev took one with axe both Ashwatthama and Arjun fought with asurs with maces. One asur welding sword avoided Krishna and went to Rashmi. Avantika jumped down to fight him. Vikramaditya too fight the betrayer.

Battle were going on everywhere but Karna battle was most fierce, Chandrasur was powerful archer. The y both fight fiercely, Karna broke Chandrasur bow. They stated to fight mele fight. Both warrior gave their all without holding back. Karna's punch were so powerful that it leaved damp in Chandrasur's body. They fought fiercely. Karna punched Chandrasur until he wasn't able to get up on his own. He looked around to see other battle are finished to. Arjun and Ashwatthama killed their opponent rather easily, Nakul and Sahdev too killed their opponent but was injured. Vikramaditya was fighting his betrayer. It was Avantika which shocked him she looks like she killed her opponent long ago and went back to Rashmi to protect Dushala and Subhadra. They all were watching Karna's battle. They were shocked Karna didn't even needed his armour for this battle. He just have bruises on his arms. His torso seemed untouched even in fight fight. Karna signalled krishna who nodded and order others to step back.

Chandrasur : You have defeated me but you can't kill me or capture me. I will recover and will be back. If you have guts then tell me who are you?

Karna : We will see about that but I will fulfill your last request my name is Radhey Karna.

Chandrasur : So, you are Karna, disciple of Ardhnarishwar but so what even tridevs can't kill me what can their disciple do.

Karna didn't respond he streched his hand and started chanting mantras, soon thuders appeared in the sky and a weapon formed in his hands.

Chandrasur : Impossible, you can't have this weapon it means you defeated Indra and survived vajra, no it's not possible. I wasn't supposed to die. It's impossible.

Krishna : Chandrasur, You are bound to die if you are born. Death is eternal truth and final destination of everyone. It our choices which leads to how we die either painlessly or painfully. You got great boon could have done a lot for asurs but your greed and arrogance leads to your fall. Karna finish him let him be free of his sins.

Karna nodded and used his once chance out of three to use vaasvi shakti and killed Chandrasur. The weapon touched Chandrasur and Chandrasur turned into ashes and blowing wind dispersed him. Everyone was shocked it all means that karna has defeated Indradev, Arjun was most shocked as he knew Indra was his father. They all looked Karna in awe. They came towards Karna and Dushala cryingly hugged Karna till now she only has heard of battle it was first time she saw it. She was scared for her favourite brother's safety. Karna patted her back to console her and calm her down.

Ashwatthama : How many more secrets you have Mitra?

Karna : Who knows.

Sahdev : How did you survive vajra, is you kavach that strong?

Karna : I don't know, the Vajra didn't touch me. Vajra is made of Saint dadhitjii ashes, when Indradev invoked it and threw it on me I simply folded my hand and chanted “om namah shivaya” it turned into garland. After that Indradev blessed me.

Arjun : How did you got in a fight with indradev?

Karna : It was afte my education was completed, we fought due to misunderstanding in the end Indradev blessed me and gave me vaasvi shakti which I can use three times.

Everyone was shocked by his casual way to describe his fight and win over Indradev. They shook their head and thought they wouldn't ever be able to understand him.

Avantika : Radhey you have used such weapon for me (blushing) I mean for Ujjain.

Dushala (innocently) : Avantika, why are you calling Bhrata Karna Radhey.

Krishna (mischievously) : Yes do tell Sakha and Rajkumari.

Karna and Avantika blushed. Vikramaditya came towards them too after killing the betrayer.

Vikramaditya : Angraj Karna, once again you helped our family how can we say thanks word didn't seems to express it enough.

Karna : No thanks is needed. Lets go to palace now Nakul and Sahdev are bleeding they need to be treated.

They all went to palace and Vikramaditya told his family the happy news. vaidya was called. They all were slightly injured except Krishna-Rukmini, Dushala and Subhadra. Avantika took a medical salve and went to Karna chamber. She applied the salve on his hands, they were being watched by Dushala and Subhadra. Karna and Avantika were enjoying eachother's company and didn't notice them. Rajmata Pushpa and Maharani Mithila saw them outside Karna chamber and came to take a peek too.

Dushala : “They look good together.” Subhadra nodded.

Pushpa : “Yes the do.” surprising them.

Mithila : It seems we have to talk to Maharaj about this. I am sure he will be happy.

They left from there. Phuspa and Mithila informed Vikramaditya about everything and he decided to get Karna opinion during dinner with boys. Soon everyone was as called for dinner.

Vikramaditya : Angraj, I have something to ask.

Karna : Please, you are my elder you don't need to ask for my permission.

Vikramaditya : We decided that if you don't mind, We want you to marry Avantika.

Karna (calmly): if you are doing for gratitude then it isn't necessary. I have promised for alms not buisness.

Vikramaditya : No that isn't the reason, infact my mother pushpa always wished Avantika to marry you regardless you are king or not or whatever happened today. A groom like you will be perfect for her you who could help a stranger will keep her happy and safe that we are assured of. Why, do you mind marrying her if so then consider this matter finished here.

Krishna (seriously): Yes sakha if you're no interested then no need to think about it. I am sure there will be others who want to marry such beautiful princess.

Karna (hurriedly) : No that's not the case.

Everyone laughed. Karna blushed.

Ashwatthama : Then why are you hesitating, Mitra?

Karna : Did Avantika also gave her consent, if not then this mairrage cannot happen. I have vowed to have only one marriage seeing the love between my Gurus and I want it because of love not because other pressing the bride for any reason. I want that relation based on love not compromise.

Vikramaditya : If so then I will ask Avantika.

There is no need to ask she has agreed. A sudden sound came they turned to see Dushala, Subhadra, Mithila, Rukmini, Pushpa and Avantika there. Avantika looked at Karna and smiled shyly and bowed her heads down. They was here before the men were. Her mother told her about that his father wanted to ask Karna to marry her. Her mother asked her consent she agreed shyly and they all came here to listen to Karna's opinion. When she heard his rejection she was heart broken and verge to cry but when she heard he wanted her consent first she was happy. She became happier listening his vow to get married once and his expectations of married life. He wasn't like other kings who married many wife for either expanding their kingdom or because of their lust.

Dushala : Wow you are getting married brother, I am so happy, I will personally take care of all shopping.

Others too were happy. They congratulated Karna and Avantika. All them then ate dinner together. During dinner Avantika and Karna was stealing glances of each other. Vikramaditya decided to go to Hastinapur and formally ask Adhiratha and Radha for mairrage as per custom. Karna told everyone He wanted to talk to Avantika once alone.
