《Dos | Tricia Robredo One-shot》Girl
Advertisement
I am here with a girl. Her contagious smile, made me genuinely smile too.
ANG CUTE NIYA! SANA AKIN NA SIYA HABANG BUHAY! HIHIMLAY NA AKOOO!
I want to pinch her cheeks. Patuloy kaming naglalakad sa kahabaan ng tulay. Her hair were being flown away by the wind.
She spoke. Lumapit ako as she then engulfed me by a hug.
She said, I didn't speak, just watched her beauty. Her hand went to my hand, I saw that it had a scar at her wrist.
I looked at the side, there was no one.
"PATRICIA! HOI!" I looked and wala na siya. I felt something na hampas sa mukha. Did she slap me?
Napaupo ako sa gulat.
"Ha? Ano meron?!" Jillian shouted.
Babala ni Ate Aika.
I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. Tumakbo ako papunta ng banyo.
Rinig kong pasok ni mama sa kwarto. I opened the shower and took a bathe.
I furrowed my brows as mag-isa kong kinakausap ang sarili ko habang nag-shashampoo.
-
"Patricia, ngiti-ngiti mo riyan? Bilisan mo." Suway ng ina ko. That girl kept on appearing sa dreams ko, is she the one? HAHAHAHA!
"Ma, si ate may pinapanaginipan tapos ngingiti!" Sumbong ni Jillian kaya't siniko ko siya. "Ma oh! Si ate naniniko!" Sumbong niya kay mama.
DESERB! BWAHAHAHA! LINTIK LANG WALANG GANTI! BULGAR KA PA AH?
"Tricia at Jillian, isa." Sambit ni Mama. Usal ni Jillian, I rolled my eyes, "Ako pa talaga ah?" I spoke as we both exchanged bickers.
suway ni Ate Aika.
Panggagaya ni Jillian, ayun, nabatukan ni Ate. HAHAHAHAHAH!
-
Nanonood ako sa dinadaanan namin, it made me think na frequent ang babaeng iyon sa panaginip ko.
She never got off my mind nor my dreams, is she real?
"Doktora Patricia, hi." I saw her sa rally. She was waving at me, volunteer siya?
"A-Ah hello." I stuttered, ang ganda niya!
She was blushing. Her cheeks seemed so soft, I want to touch it.
Tumango ito sa hiling ko.
Dahan-dahan kong iniangat ang kamay ko. Huh? Ba't may nag-apir?
" JILLIAN NAMAN!
"Ikaw kanina ka pa!" Tulak ko kay Jillian.
"Sino ba naman kasi pinag-aabot mo ate?" Irap lang ang sagot ko sa kapatid ko.
Akala ko naman nasa rally na. Tsk.
Asar niya pa. Tumayo't bumaba na lang ako at sinaraduhan ko siya ng pinto. Bala siya riyan! BWAHAHAHA!
I walked inside the tent, finding mama and ate Aika inside.
I just shrugged, She spoke.
I said as I mentally smiled at my plan.
She just nodded, saw her texting Jillian.
I ran as fast as I could dahil baka magkaalaman HAHAHAHA!
They greeted me and I greeted back in return.
"How's the volunteers doing?" I asked. Rico asked. I nodded.
I went ahead as they led me to a packaging department.
"Oh, Faye, make it like this and cut it." I heard a voice say kaya't lumingon ako. "MHIE!"
She caught my eye.
I watched as the scene unfold. I saw Jillian helping her.
Sambit ng bunso kong kapatid.
I rushed to her, kept hearing her friend called Faye saying sorry.
"It's okay I can manage na. Go back to your work na." I said, this girl was still looking down, I asked, worried.

Umiling lang ito.
"A-Ah, sorry sa informalities, I'm Patricia." I introduced myself.
After I finished taking out the shard of glass from her wrist.
It wasn't that serious, but she has to be careful next time. I said, para siyang mute, wouldn't speak unlike kanina when she gave out instructions to the kids.
"M-May trauma ka ba or anything sa med?" I asked and she just shook her head again.
She looked so small with her oversized pink jacket.
Nag-angat ito ng tingin, "She apologized.
I looked at her face. "YOU?!" Napaatras ako ng upo. "P-Po? Ako po?" She asked.
SIYA 'YUNG BABAE SA PANAGINIP KO!
IT'S HER CHEEKS! HER HAIR AND HER SUGAT SA WRIST!
SHE WAS THAT SMALL WOMAN I'VE BEEN HUGGING!
"I-Ikaw nga talaga!" I spoke, amazed, totong tao talaga siya!
I poked her cheek, "It's you nga! I can't believe it!" I was so amazed, she was real!
She asked politely. I then realized what I've just done. I was finding words to say.
She was anticipating. "A-Ano kasi, you look someone I know." I acted so dumb. WAAAHH! GREAT WAY TO GO PATRICIA!
"Ahh, gano'n po ba? Hahaha." Mahinhin niyang sambit.
Was all I could say, nakakatanggal kasi ng angas ang ganda niya!
"S-Sige po, thank you po, I'll go to my friend na po." She said, "Contact me anytime." I told her.
-
Urat na binagsak ko ang telepono. "Jill, what's that girl's name?" She said and pouted.
I said, desperado na ako 'no! I need to find her kahit hindi biro 'yung gawa ko kanina, it was revenge.
"Heh! Bahala ka." She said.
Tumayo ako at nauurat na naglakad sa volunteering dept. for packaging.
Tanong ni Ate. "By any chance po bang nagpa-fill out ng information 'yung small cute woman na nakapink jacket na naaksidente kanina, need to know her name kasi." I said as I described her.
She checked the lists, "Doc, 'yung friend niya lang po nagpa-register. Nagturo lang ho siya and left." Ate gave out infos.
I asked. "Chik po 'yung palayaw niya rito, Ma'am kasi raw anliit parang sisiw sabi po ni Ma'am Faye. Private po raw kasi na tao iyon sabi ni Ma'am Faye. Napilit nga lang po eh." She said.
I nodded, "Can you hand me Faye's contact info. Mamaya kasi may nangyari roon sa babae." I lied.
Ibinigay naman sa'kin iyon easily.
-
After the eventful day, hindi ko pa rin tinantanan si Jillian to let me know her name.
I even bribed her with Taylor Swift's album pero sabi niya, "Sorry ate, can't speak her name." Was only she could answer.
I don't know if totoo iyon, pero kung oo, GRABE NAMAN ANG MYSTERIOUS EFFECT MO.
"Waahh! Hope you'd contact me! Pleaseee!" I hoped, as I tried to contact Faye rin para more chances.
She cannot be reached.
Why naman gano'n? NAG-PANIC PA KASI KO! AAAAAA!
I slept on trying to look for you at any socmeds.
Your sister told me na you kept on trying to find me." Tanging sagot niya sa'kin, F.C na kung F.C, I hugged her.

"A-Ahm kasi, I like you." I told her. "H-Ha? Hindi pwede, I have someone else already."
"Ah, gano'n ba? J-Just forget it." I stuttered, naluluha.
"Sorry, I liked you rin nung una kaso siya na sumalo kasi ang tagal mo." She said.
'WHY AM I ALWAYS LATE?!' I thought.
Papalayo kang naglakad papunta sa labas as you were greeted by a kiss by my youngest sister, Jillian.
She went closer to me while you left.
I was shocked when I saw her holding a pillow.
"Hehe, ate sino ba kasi 'yang pinapanaginipan mo't umiiyak ka? Saka ba't may pa just forget it ka pa at why am I always late na sigaw? MAY PA IKAW LAGI NAUUNA HAHAHAHAHA!" Asar niya.
I said, frowning. I asked.
Tumakbo na ako at naligo. Bahala si Jillian diyan.
Sunod niya hanggang sa pinto ng banyo.
She asked as she wiggled her brows. Lakas ng tama.
Sambit ko at kinuha ang tuwalyang nakasabit.
"YIEEE! ATEEEE AIKZZZ! MAMA! SI ATE MAY KRASS!" Pang-aasar ng bunso namin, just rolled my eyes.
I do hope na pumunta ka.
Saan ka na ba?
"BWAHAHAHAHA! ATE AIKA OH PARANG EWAN SI ATE TRICIA!" Sigaw ng kapatid kong si Jillian kaya't nilingon ko at nagtago naman ito.
"Ba't ba nagiging Giraffe 'yang si Trish." Biglang hinarap ni ate si Jillian kaya't pinandilatan ko ito.
Nag-ala zip ito ng lips niya. Sambit ni Ate Aika.
"UY CHIK!" Sigaw ni Jillian, lumingon ako. "JILLIAAAAANN!" Habol ko sa kaniya. Malabo mata ko pero may salamin ako!
"WAAAHH! ATE JOKE LANG!" Sigaw ng bunso, takbo kami nang takbo. I shouted.
IT WAS HER!
AAAAAAAAA COME ON!
Mahahanap din kita, you can't hide from me for too long.
Desidido akong makilala ka Chik.
-
I tried to find some bread station. I was hungry.
Naka-mask lang ako at naka-glasses, a phone in my hand with my wallet.
I smelt bread from afar. Nilapitan ko ang isang stall. You were there, your fragrance gave it away.
I shouted at pinagtitinginan kami ng lahat, good thing hindi ako nakilala dahil iba ang glasses at suot ko.
You looked so confused with me. I led you at a blindspot.
"You didn't mention your name yet." I said. "I'm Doctor Janine Patricia Robredo, kung hindi mo 'ko maalala." I said as I looked at her sternly.
"And what does my name has to do with you?" You were masungit like a cat na hindi maamo.
I lied partly.
"Paano kapag ayoko?" She asked. I said, nangungulit. "Why? Don't you know na marami namamatay kakabigkas lang po ng pangalan ko?" You spoke with elegance.
I can't believe na may ganito pa ring tao.
"Edi I'll get to know you hanggang sa ikaw na magsabi." I reasoned, I won't let this day pass nang hindi nalalaman pangalan mo.
Sambit mo. I asked.
Mukha bang desperado? I don't care. I need to know you.
"Makulit ka po pala Doctora Janine." Yuko mong sambit, sinusulat ang numero mo sa cellphone ko. AAAAAAAA! PANGALAN KO 'YUN!
I tried to hide my smile, naging smirk tuloy.
Tumingala ka. Tiningnan mo ako, mata sa mata. Your eyes are so deep, I could look at it every single day of my life.
Obviously, I was taller than you. "Are you cold? It's night time pa naman." I spoke, you were shivering.
"May I?" I asked for your permission to give you my pink blazer.
You nodded, "Speak with your words, honey." I said.
"Y-Yes, I'd appreciate that." You said, stuttering. Aha, I guess I do have an effect on you.
"Next time, don't go somewhere lalo na't malamig, you might get sick, okay?" I gave an advice, lumalabas nanaman pagka-doktor ko. Tsk.
"Yes po, Doktora Janine." You said my name, it felt like music. My heart kept on beating so fast.
I kept on smiling, para akong sasabog sa tuwa. "Do you have something to do?"
"Wala naman po." You answered, I nodded. "Would you like to accompany me sa rally?" I asked.
Walang ele-election ban Mama, hehe!
"Ah, I can't kasi I'm with my friends. Though I could accompany you after ho." You compromised. I smiled, "No need to be nervous, gusto mo mag-dinner after?" Spending all my luck.
"Kayo ho bahala." Sambit mo. I told you.
You nodded as you led the way, nag-wave ako bago umalis. I'll remember kung nasaan ka naka-pwesto.
-
I walked at the stage.
Basa ng kapatid ko, oh so you like Jillian pala.
-
You saw Patricia looking at you like a prey, scary.
"Madam, si Fa---" Sinabunutan ko ng pabiro si Faye at pinabayaan si Kent. "Gaga! 'Yung placard mo nabasa!"
"WAAAHHH! LOVE YOU Y/N!" Tili ni Faye. Umirap ako, Jillian is a friend to me.
"Aysus, sorry na! Bagay naman kayo ni Doc eh." Panunuyo niya sa'kin.
"Luh, who are you gagoing?" I sarcastically said.
She was teasing me, ang lakas ng boses niya, pinagtitinginan kami.
"Hala kayo, may away magjowa pala dito hahaha!" Sambit ni Chief Aika. 'Urgh! Nakakahiya Faye!' Was all you could think.
Tricia wanted it to be herself na siyang itataas mo. "Uy Jill, stop na. Naiinis na si Patty." Nakaramdam si Aika. She followed her sister's gaze and it went to a not-so-tall woman with a 6 foot guy and a woman na matangkad like 5'8.
"I like the girl with the pink blazer." Aika spoke. Lumingon si Patricia with a glaring eyes.
Confirmed.
Aika thought, kasi she knew it was the small girl dahil ang blazer ng kapatid niya ay naroon sa babae.
Huhuhu! Kaibigan ba kita!
Sabi nga nila Papa, "Anak, we want you to stay lowkey."
I'm sorry mama and papa.
I looked at the stage to see Doctor Janine standing there, parang pilit pa nga ang ngiti. May problema kaya 'to?
I was genuinely curious, makulit na doktora na nakita ko kanina yet your co-workers says otherwise, you were strict daw.
Nakakunot ang noo ni Doktora Janine. "Madam." Tumabi si Kent as he opened the umbrella for me.
"Thank you, Kent." I spoke. He just nodded. I smiled at him.
"Nakakainggit naman kayong dalawa!" Sambit ni Faye. He spoke so politely.
"Madam, where'd you get that blazer po?" He asked as he looked at me.
Keep wearing my blazer, I could find you easier later.
I knew it was Doktora Janine. My lie was absolute bullshit but I couldn't care less.
I said.
He nodded. He's with me for like when I was 13 years old and he was 15. Basically, childhood friends.
-
Kent spoke so formally.
He nodded as an answer,
Kent spoke again, nakakainis!
I told her.
He spoke.
Naniningkit niyang tanong. Kent spoke with his authoritarian tone.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

You Are The Gods.
You read the title right, YOU are a God within this story. In fact, every single reader of the story is a God. Many stories like to take the path that there are Gods that watch over the characters of the story, helping them or hurting them as the characters progress. What if, the readers of this story are the Gods that are watching the Main Characters? What if the readers could accrue points by reading that they could spend to help the main character, hurt the main character, or to even create new characters, dungeons, and scenarios? That is what I aim to create! I am trying to get the community involved in creating a reality that the readers themselves can directly influence! If you have any interest in this at all, I implore you to read the intro chapter called 'The Tutorial' and join everyone else on many interesting stories on Planet Earth and what it is to become! Volume 1 is where you can find how the system works, and the various things within the system! Volume 2 is the actual story and invasions itself. Volume 3 is where you can find previous polls and the such. Volume 3 is so we can all look back at the decisions made. Quick note. I am not the best writer, and will try my best to create the best quality story. There might be some grammar errors, or I might write in a simpler way compared to other authors because I do not have much time, nor can I write ahead either! If you wish to give me advice on the system as the story goes on, then I will gladly accept it. Lastly, just have fun with the story as I try to do something completely new!
