"Kookie wake up~" Taehyung said, a well stretched and cute smile visible on his face. He shook the younger, earning some tossing and turning. He sighed. He didn't want to play with the younger's nipple, it will hurt him.
"Or I will kiss you~" he joked, bending down to kiss the younger.
"I'm awake, I'm awake" Jungkook said, getting up with a frown. He didn't sleep well last night. He was afraid that Yoongi will attack him.
"We gotta go practice, it's been a while" Taehyung said with a pout.
"It's only been two days, Hyung~"
"But our concert is in three days" Taehyung said, worried about the younger's condition.
"You shouldn't really perform in this condition"
"I have to, a billion of people has been waiting for us..we can't just leave them, you know"
"But.."
"See? You have nothing to say against this~" Taehyung said, pinching Jungkook's nose. "Come on, you have to attend it anyway. Most of them has come for you".
"Don't say that, we're the best" Jungkook bluffed.
"Your hyungs also are the best, stop bluffing golden"
Jungkook gave him a devilish smile as he got up to take a quick shower. After showering, he looked at the foggy mirror and wiped it with his hand allowing himself to look at his reflection.
"Look at that hot beast from the other side, golden like treasure, cute like a cupcake, handsome like an actor" his eyes trailed down to his abs. They weren't perfect but yet perfect at the same time. "Look at that sharp yet cute and soft line...you're perfect, golden"
Jungkook loved to complement himself, he somehow knows why but doesn't at the same time. He didn't know yet knew but wasn't that sure. He smiled at his reflection only to be interrupted by knocks.
"Do you have consumption? Or is it diarrhea? Get out I need to pee" Namjoon's voice was heard. The bathrooms must be full.
"I'm Jungkook"
"Shit golden, bruh. I'm finding another bathroom" Namjoon said as he rushed to find another unoccupied toilet. Jungkook giggled.
He liked that Hyung's personality. He was so cool yet so uncool. You never know where he would be in a scale from idiot to cool.
"Kookie? You alright?" The soft voice of Taehyung rang in his ears.
"Yes Hyung, I'm only struggling to zip my pants" Jungkook said truthfully.
"Why would you wear jeans?" Taehyung said but hesitated, "Do you want me to help you?"
"Uh okay?" Jungkook said unlocking the door. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with an unzipped tight black pants, revealing his Cookie Monster boxers.
"You still wear my Cookie Monster underwear collection that I gave you?" Taehyung chuckled, realising that he was wearing Elmo's underwear making his cheeks turn pink. He tried zipping it up.
"Kookie, how about we go shopping for new clothing one day~?" Taehyung said. Jungkook's clothes were shrinking and he was the only one who watched over Jungkook closely. He managed to forcefully pull at the zipper until it reached the tip.

"No Hyung, I'm getting fat" Jungkook said with a pout. He was close to tears, he thought about his fans hating him for being fat.
"Aw, don't cry, Golden. You're growing into a manly man now~" Taehyung chuckled as he got up and patted Jungkook's head.
"Besides, I love fats" Taehyung said and left the room. Jungkook froze. Taehyung who was as skinny as paper? He chuckled afterwards. Taehyung will love him no matter what. At the end he was perfect, wonderful cute and golden. He always liked the thought of being perfect.
Jungkook grabbed a plain black hoodie just in case if the weather turned out to be bad. He had learned a lesson of weather once during Rookie King times, he still was caught up with the weather forecasts. He checked Taehyung's temperature one last time before stuffing his feet in his Converse High. He always believed that Yoongi didn't like Converse's but that was obviously a false fact to their fandom proved by images. Yoongi frowned at the bright red Converse Jungkook was wearing, he didn't hate it. It was just that it was his pair of shoes. Jungkook grinned, his golden smile lightening the world.
"Taehyung I'm hungry"
"What do you want for breakfast?"
"Mcdonalds"
"No Kookie"
"But Hyung-"
"It's bad for your health, I can't handle seeing you eat trash. You deserve to be served better. How about a trip to Dunkin Donuts?"
Jungkook clapped his hands in delight. Taehyung held him by his side, protecting him from any stranger walking by. He looked at the younger, giving him his Killer smile. Yes that rectangle smile with his adorable eye smile, they blend well together. They made a perfect picture. Oh how Jungkook was jealous from Taehyung's smile!
"Don't you wonder...why do we always take a moment to think before choosing for cafes like Starbucks or stores like Baskin Robbins?" Jungkook suddenly asked. His face was blank as his eyes looked at the menu.
"Hmm?"
"It's because people have this thing where they don't realise that they are in a situation where they either choose and finish themselves or upset other people and leave with no thoughts"
"But why would people be upset?"
"Because their hard work is thrown to waste"
"Kookie.." Taehyung was amazed by the younger. They decided to eat in the store since it started raining.
"I screwed up on clothes choice, I should've got my brownish leather with the fluffy material, it would've kept me warm" Taehyung pouted. Jungkook looked at the hoodie folded neatly on his arms.
"Take this" he said, not wanting the already sick Taehyung to be affected even more. The elder shook his head.
"That will make you sick!" Taehyung said.
"But Hyung~ you are already sick! I can't see you getting even more sick!" Jungkook pleaded. Taehyung was about to answer back but got interrupted at the younger's actions. He pushed Taehyung's head into the hood as his arms were tight right by his sides.

"But Kookie-"
"" Jungkook said, Taehyung decided to just wear that hoodie. He looked worriedly at the younger as he kept tugging at the hoodie, wanting to take it off and warm up the younger. He did choose a poor quality for such weather. It was his favourite Kim Taehyung Collection clothes. He wore his favourite baggy pink shirt, which he ripped using scissors, and a plain black shorts. He wore sandals that wrapped around his feet not completely, revealing his toes and some of his feet. He loved this outfit, and so did his fans.
"Should we change our order?"
"Why is that, Taehyung?"
"We ordered cold drinks and donuts, we could change them to hot chocolate"
"Now that you mentioned it, we can have hot chocolate after drinking our cold drinks" Jungkook said with a cheeky smile. He was so happy that his Hyung was warm.
"Cute Kookie, Lovely Kookie, Glamorous Kookie, Golden Kookie" he mumbled.
"What was that?"
"I was just having a fight with myself of choosing either hot chocolate or caramel machiato"
"You can have both, but don't take in much sugar~"
"No its okay, I love hot chocolate and so do you~"
Jungkook knew everything about Taehyung. He was the only one who gets Taehyung flipping from the dorm to America from happiness on his birthday. He was the one who can get Taehyung to smile even while he's crying.
"Your hoodie is so warm, Kookie..." Taehyung said, putting his head down on the table enjoying the warmness. It lay soft on his soft skin. He wondered how did it feel on Jungkook's soft and milky skin.
"I know, Hyung" Jungkook said, looking in his drink trying to 'analyse' what is in it. "Taehyung, do you think there is so much fat in there?".
"Taehyung?" He looked up to find a soundly sleeping Taehyung. He didn't know if Taehyung was going to get the habits to take over him even in a store. He looked around to find some people giggling with their phones out and taking pictures of them. Jungkook sighed. The tip of Taehyung's forehead touched his cold cup.
"Umm..."
"Oh Taehyung, not here"
"Sorry Hyungs and Kookie...I didn't want to at first but it got addictive" Jungkook gave up on his fears, he put his face closer as he was eager to not what did Taehyung do. "I drank alcohol for the last few days...I realised something I shouldn't have. I'm so sorry"
Jungkook's eyes widened. He to tell Seokjin about this! It will affect Taehyung's health if he didn't. He huffed as he looked at the elder. He brushed Taehyung's fringe out of his face, chuckling as he realised the length difference Taehyung still had. He didn't know how to feel. Taehyung was cute, should he smile? But Taehyung did sins, according to Seokjin, should he frown?
"Taehyung, you really need a haircut" he said as he continued playing with the elders hair. It was soft and fluffy. As soon as he let go, it lay perfectly on his head. It didn't stick out, Taehyung was perfect. He pouted at the thought of him not being completely perfect. He looked around to see less attention. Jungkook looked back into Taehyung's closed eyes, how his eyelashes were in a perfect length. The way his eyebrows furrowed in his sleep, Jungkook admired how Taehyung was perfect. He looked down to see his perfect nose, straight and soft with a cute little mole that everyone cherished. He looked further down to see his beautiful shaped plump lips, how lovely they were. The shape was perfect. Jungkook looked at his own face through the window, he wasn't as perfect as the elder. Why did he feel insecure, though?
Getting touchy with his Hyungs, Jungkook was always insecure about something. Next to Namjoon, he didn't know if he was as smart as his Hyung. Next to Yoongi, he didn't know if he was as hardworking as he is. Next to Seokjin, he didn't know if he was as caring as he is. Next to Hoseok, he didn't know if he was as energetic and cute as he is. Next to Jimin, he didn't know if he was as strong as he is. And lastly, next to Taehyung, he wondered if he was that perfect or not.
But he always thought he was smart, hardworking, caring, energetic, cute, strong, perfect and especially golden. He had his time of his insecure thoughts, but he always thought he was the best. He had to be the best. He protected his nickname as golden so well, no one could take it away from him. He was special.
As he was brushing Taehyung's hair with the tip of his fingers, Taehyung's eyes fluttered open.
"Oh...I slept?" He asked, more like asked himself. "Oh shit! We better get going!" Taehyung said. He looked and realised that he had Jungkook's hoodie on.
"You need this"
"No"
"Yes"
"Taehyung, " Jungkook said deeply. Taehyung knew how serious Jungkook could get. He sighed.
"Then I won't have any hot chocolate while you have one!"
"Deal!"
Taehyung and Jungkook walked hand in hand to the practice room, Taehyung trying his best to cover Jungkook from the pouring droplets. Jungkook blew on the steaming hot chocolate despite the freezing weather. Taehyung cursed himself for his clothes decision. He looked at Jungkook's standing still body hair.
Admit it, you wanted that hoodie too

Edge Cases (Book 1 Complete!)
Rare classes and powerful skills are helpful. Too bad the system doesn't seem built to handle them. What even are all these errors? Our team of outcasts and adventurers will have to rely on their trust - and the bane of all stories, healthy communication - just to survive, let alone understand what the system is doing. Because they're quickly realizing that it's doing something; to people, to monsters, and maybe even to the gods themselves. And their goal isn't just to survive; it's to make things better. It's a good thing they're not doing it alone. --- Edge Cases is an attempt to take the LitRPG genre and the overpowered MCs trope and write a story where numbers aren't everything. Sometimes it takes trust, support, and just a touch of being very, very clever. Expect a mix of action, slice-of-life, friendship, and ominous worldbuilding. Updates M-W-F at 6pm EST. Cover art by Alovck of Artstation, and typesetting by jessessey right here on RoyalRoad.

Macabre Mim
*Note: This story is on hiatus. I intend to pick it up again, but the mood of my life has shifted for the time being and I'm going to be working on a side project for a bit.* What would you give to live the life of your dreams? What kind of deal would you make? And when you were there, forced to stare your dreams in the eye and live them every day, how long would it be... before they broke you? Author's note: This is my first excursion outside the realm of villain fan fiction and I welcome feedback. The thing I've loved most about RRL so far is the potential for writing to be an interactive experience with excited readers. That said, also, the primary genre this is intended for is the blossoming realm of LitRPG. Namely, a slice of life tale in the manner of Grimgar or Re:Zero. So, likewise, I don't expect there will ever be a clear beginning-middle-and-end type of pattern to this story. It will likewise always be a bit more of a reactionary, exploratory novel into realms unknown - much like the 1800 travel-novel theme used by Jules Verne. Or, at least, that is my ambition.

Hush | on hold
"Your name?"When I stayed silent, he repeated himself. "Your name?""Jeyri." I let out quietly."And last name?""Rae...""Jeyri Rae..." He crouched down next to me and moved the hair from in front of my face, "I dislike when things get difficult, I end up doing things I'd much rather not do. Do you want to know what happened to the last person who made things difficult for me, hmm?" He asked, leaning into me. Is he talking about me calling the cops? He pressed his gun against my head and frowned, "You get it don't you?"I nodded quickly. "Good... And if you tell anyone what you saw today, I'll know." He pressed his finger against my lips and smiled, "So hush."
