"Taehyung lost his memory."
The members eyes widened and looked at the doctor in astonishment.
"What does he remember?" Namjoon asked.
"As far as we know, he lost the last 5 years of his memory. He doesn't know he's in a boy band and he doesn't know who you are"
"We have a fan meet tomorrow. What about the fans?" Namjoon asked
"Fans?! What about Taehyung? What about Jungkook?" Jimin retorted.
Jin gasped. "JUNGKOOK!"
They ran into Taehyung's room and opened the door. Jungkook was standing over his hyung, crying.
"Hyungs!" The younger cried out. "He doesn't remember me!"
They looked over to Taehyung who was looking at the members confused.
"I'm sorry. I honestly don't know what is going on here." Taehyung answered blankly.
The doctor walked in and stood alongside V.

TAEHYUNGS POV
I was surrounded by strangers, yet I felt something strange inside me. It's like I knew them my whole life. But how?
Earlier, while I was watching the television, a young boy called out to me and ran over. He hugged me tightly and I felt my heart skip a beat.
What am I feeling? Why do I have this tingly feeling inside of my stomach?
He pulled away and smiled brightly at me. He was beautiful. What am I thinking? I don't even know this person. He stared at me as if he expected me to say something.
I examined him, trying to figure out who he was. After several glances, I shook my head.
"I'm sorry. Who are you?"
He started crying. I was concerned. Who is he? Why is he crying? He looked at me and slowly moved closer.
"You really don't know who I am?" He asked.
I didn't know what to say. Something tells me I do. But why can't I remember?
"No. Sorry."
I watched as his hands shook. Tears poured out of his eyes. I wanted to hug him. He looked so fragile.
"My name is Jungkook."
Jungkook? Jungkook. Jungkookie? My head began to pound and I heard loud ringing in my ears. My vision blurred and I saw a vague image of a boy. He introduced himself to me and told me we were going to be best friends. I asked if I could call him-
"Kookie" I mumbled.
His eyes darted at me. "Yes? Yes! That's what you call me! Kookie!"
He grabbed onto my hand and I quickly pulled away. He looked hurt, but seemed to understand why.
"I-I'm not really sure who you are. I'm sorry." I apologized once more.
That's when the group of strangers entered my room. There were 6 of them, followed by my doctor and an older man.

"I'm sorry, I honestly don't know what's going on here."
My doctor stood beside me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Taehyung. These people are very important to you. Please treat them with your best respect."
I nodded. I turned to the group who were smiling faintly at me.
"Sooooo?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm sorry." One of them spoke.
He turned to the rest of them and suggested that they do a proper introduction.
Jungkook moved beside them and faced forward.
"Hello. We are Bangtan!" They said together in unison.
I smiled brightly. This is so cool. I like the name. They started introducing themselves from right to left.
"My name is Hoseok, but my stage name is Jhope." He bowed.
"Jhope?"
He nodded and giggled. "I'm your hyung. Actually, we all are. Except for Jungkook over there."
I turned to face the younger one. No wonder he's so cute. I returned my gaze to Jhope and he bowed once more.
"You use to call me Hopie hyung. So feel free to call me whatever feels comfortable to you. I'm your hope!"
The member next to him face palmed himself. I chuckled at Hope hyung's statement and their reactions. Jhope seems like a funny person.
"Hello. I'm Jimin born in 95."
"Like me!" I smiled.
He nodded. "Yup. We're same age friends. Best friends actually. I hope we can become closer again."
"Me too."
I looked at the red haired one next to him.
"I'm Yoongi. Stage name Suga."
"Suga?"
He hummed a yes in response. That's a cool name.
"I'm a rapper in the group and-"
"-and the grouch!" Jimin commented, earning a slap from his hyung.
Suga continued. "We're pretty close I guess. We'll be fine. Just as long as you don't wake me from my sleep. Got it?"
I nodded. This one scares me. But I'm sure he's okay.
"I'm Jin! The mom of the group and the oldest. I'm also the face because I'm really handsome." The older one bragged.
I smiled at him and gave him a slight bow. He didn't seem like the oldest. He looks so young.
Next to him was a taller member with blonde styled hair.
"My name is Namjoon, but my stage name is Rap Monster. You can call me either one or Rapmon hyung. That's what you use to call me."
"Okay. Hello Rapmon hyung." I greeted.
He smiled and said, "Hi. Nice to meet you." Wow, he speaks English. That's cool.
Finally, it was the person who've I've waited to hear this whole time. He wasn't shaking anymore and he had wiped away his tears.

He looked up at me and gave me a small smile. I gave him one in return.
"My name is Jungkook. I'm the maknae in the group and your-"
He paused and looked at me hesitantly.
"My...?" I asked curiously.
The members looked at him too, wondering what he was going to say.
After releasing a deep breath, he continued.
"I'm your closest and bestest friend. We are also roommates at the hotel we're staying in. You are the first person I became close with and I hope you can remember me."
I have him a reassuring smile.
"What is it that you said I called you?" I asked.
"Kookie."
I smiled widely. "Well Kookie. I hope we can spend more time together and become close again."
He sighed. "Me too."
Lastly, the man behind them introduced himself as our manager. Apparently I'm one of the members of BTS and under a company called BigHit Entertainment. He explained to me that there was a mishap at the doctors and we came to Hawaii for vacation.
He also explained how we will be remaining in Hawaii for a month before returning to Korea.
I was a little concerned. I'm staying with people I don't know. Or people whom I DO know but don't remember.
I was about to argue to go back home but for some reason, I looked at Jungkook.
His head was lowered and Jimin was comforting him.
"Kookie?"
He looked up at me, sniffling. "Yes Tae?"
"You'll help me remember. Right?" I reached out my hand.
He grabbed onto it and gave me a reassuring smile. "Of course."
The doctor told me I can be released today from the hospital shortly. She asked the members to leave so she can finish checking if I'm okay.
I didn't want to release my grip from Jungkook. I felt safe around him. I felt like he needed to stay by my side.
Unfortunately, I reluctantly released his hand. He left the room with the others and the manager. My doctor taked to me after. She told me not to push myself into remembering everything because I could be dangerously hurt. She also warned me not to stray to far from my members. Something about it being unsafe because something could happen. Whatever.
I really hope I remember. I need to remember. Not just for myself, for everyone. For him.

THIRD PERSON POV
The members gathered in the waiting room once more.
"Manager hyung. You have a lot of explaining to do." Jungkook scolded.
He took a seat beside Jin.
"Okay. Are you guys ready to listen?"
Everyone nodded.
"Good." The manager continued.
"Yesterday, while you guys snuck out, I received a call from Dr. Choi. He is the man who diagnosed Taehyung with brain cancer.
He called and told me that Taehyung hasn't been answering his phone. I let him know that you guys were sleeping and most likely put your phones on vibrate."
The members lowered their heads, knowing that they lied to the manager.
"Anyways, he said they made a mistake. The day before your North Shore mishap, a man passed away. His name was Kim Taehyung as well.
The doctors had accidentally switched the test results and the man who passed away had brain cancer, not V."
"So that's why you held Taehyung back yesterday?" Jungkook asked.
The manager nodded. "When everyone returned to their rooms, I told Taehyung the good news. He was so ecstatic that he wanted to share his happiness with you guys.
He asked if it was possible to throw a party on the rooftop of the hotel. I told him that I can talk to the employees about it. We agreed to keep it a secret and he would reveal it to you tonight."
"That's why he was so happy today." Jungkook concluded. "He couldn't wait to tell us he's okay."
"I got the okay from the hotel and everything was set for tonight... Until Taehyung's surfing incident." The manager finished.
Jimin slammed his fists onto the table in front him. "That fucking idiot! Why did he do that?" He ran his fingers through his hair.
"It's all your fault Jimin! If you hadn't made Tae jealous, he could be here right now!" Jungkook yelled.
"My fault?! If you chose me instead of him, we wouldn't be in this mess!"
"Guys! It's no ones fault! And Jimin, that's not true!" Namjoon cut in. "You need to stop being selfish and recognize the real issue here. We need to get Taehyung to remember!"
"Namjoon's right." Jin agreed. "Let's forgot about what happened and think about the future."
There was a sound of someone clearing their throat. The members turned and saw Taehyung standing near the doorway.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook stood up. "How long have you been standing there?"
He shrugged. "Long enough to hear Namjoon yell at you guys."
"Nothing before that?"
Taehyung shook his head. "Nope. Why?"
"No reason."
The manager signed Taehyung out of the hospital and they loaded into the van. Taehyung sat besides Jungkook in the very back.
The younger desperately wanted to grab his hyung's hand. He desperately wanted to kiss his hyung and tell him happy he is that he's okay. He wanted punch his boyfriend for being a jealous idiot.
But he can't. Not now.
