《Book reviews *Requests Closed*》'The Moon's Pawn' by ladypaperback

The last story I'll be reviewing in this book is called 'The Moon's Pawn'. The story follows the cursed werewolf alpha Veronica through her endeavours, navigating werewolf politics and drama reminiscent of a game of chess.

I'll admit the whole setting and plot didn't impress me much at first; the werewolves and their societies didn't stand out as much as I wanted them to. It's hard, writing a werewolf story on a website full of those. But even if the plot hasn't surprised me too much so far, that doesn't mean it's of bad quality or not entertaining.

While it may not earn all originality points, the plot developments did keep me on my toes, especially in the beginning. The world set up here is intriguing and so is our lead Veronica. The rest of the cast is likable and feels fully fleshed-out, with characters strong enough to carry the story!

The GPS and writing itself were clean for the most part. Maybe remove some spelling mistakes from chapters marked unedited and you'll be pretty solid.

One thing to keep in mind: while using images throughout your chapters can enrich the story to certain readers, it can also have the opposite effect and pull readers out of the story. It's partially personal preferences, but images can be tricky; if you want to be very sure you're not accidentally losing readers over it, use them sparingly.

A short review, but see it like this: The less I have to say, the better the job you did!

Rating: 8!
