The Crazy Side of Love' is about Julius, a gang lord in the UK. One night, a mysterious man shows up in his bar; the man is shot, but he doesn't seem hurt. Julius lets the man, Seth, stay with him, even after learning that Seth is a serial killer known as 'The King of Hearts'. Julius finds himself intrigued by Seth, and love begins to bloom, despite their tragic pasts, the FBI trying to find Seth, and many more issues.

I thought the plot was very original, though it dealt with some plot holes and certain things were explained rather late. For example, I found myself wondering how the hell Emma got pregnant; this was explained later in the book, but it did feel a little late. Keeping certain things a secret is fine, but sometimes it just gets confusing.

I thought the characters were interesting too. They all had their own personalities and were rather diverse, especially in terms of LGBT+ representation! However, their interactions didn't always feel natural and I thought the couples were often too lovey-dovey, to the point where it bordered on the ridiculous.

The GPS was shit. Just saying that now. The story was incredibly hard for me to read, so I couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to. A shame, because the plot did intrigue me.

A very interesting plot with an equally interesting cast, but it has many flaws that should be fixed. It was a real pain to read, so until that's fixed, I won't recommend it.
