I've never reviewed a poetry book before, so I'll have to adopt a new way of reviewing for this type of book. I've decided to judge the poems on: subject variation, style variation, GPS, and if the poem flows nicely.
As said before, this book is a collectiom of poems written by the author. On subject variation, I can only say the selection is diverse. I've seen poems for birthdays, friendships, positivity, girl power, etc. Based on the subject alone, many people will find at least something to quench their poetic thirst.
But the style… is less varied. Of course, there are many forms of poetry, such as standard rhyme, sonnets, limericks, all of that. In my country, we call the kind of poems in this book 'Sinterklaasrijm' (Sinterrhyme). We call it this because when giving Sinterklaas gives, many people write a small, simple poem to go with it, basically incorporating rhyme as only literary technique. Simple.
So in other words, all of these poems are 'simple'. They incorporate rhyme, but they don't have much to offer. I would recommend studying the finer arts and diversity of the poetry genre, and literary techniques: alliteration, similes, metaphors, paradoxes, you name it. The poems are all very direct and to the point at this stage, but the most beautiful, famous poems tend to be more abstract.
The GPS is decent in some poems and completely absent in other poems. Some misspellings here and there. One note: in some poems, author, you start off with punctuation and later on in that same poem, it disappears. That's annoying; please try to maintain some level of consistency per poem.
Lastly, the flow. Partly because of the punctuation, the flow of the poems isn't always pleasing. A tip: your rhyme follows an AB schedule (first line (A) rhymes with second (B), third line (A) rhymes with fourth (B), etc.). Try making line A and B roughly the same length; it will be more pleasing and easy to read that way!
I hope these tips will be helpful in the future!
Rating: 5; decent, but much room for improvement.

In any case, as the world descends into chaos, Edris's carefree life may be just a bit further away than expected.
