This request has been sitting in my mailbox for a long time, and finally I'm doing something with it. I apologize for the especially long waiting time, but the review is here, as promised!

The book in question is 'Abyss of Time (book one)' by zerianaXIII. In the story, a war between humans and gods caused humanity to become trapped and enslaved by the gods in an endless cycle and this cycle must be broken. This task is given to a group of five people: Maya, whose wedding day was ruined. Keroh, whose family was taken away from him by the gods. Jinx, a woman gifted with magic. Zephyr, a remarkably powerful young man with no memory of his past, and finally, Yonah, who can heal people, read minds, and see glimpses of the future.

I like the plot; you've got a nice ensemble of characters there, all with their own backgrounds. They have a lot of potential, though I feel like dialogue is sometimes forced/stereotypical. Interesting to see what book 2 has in store for this gang.

The spelling and grammar in the story are fine, but punctuation isn't always done right and I've seen a bit of tense-switching. This gets a little confusing and gets in the way of the experience.

One other thing: there are many (well-written!) action/fighting scenes in the book. This is totally fine, but I thought it sometimes felt like it was too much. A little more variation would be nice!

And in regard to the fighting scenes, I like how you don't sugarcoat the gory details. Fighting is fighting, and there's nothing wrong with some realistic consequences to violence!

(But where do you get your Latin? A few things looked incorrect, no offense meant)
