Black and Red, by Unknown_Dynasty, is the story of Lilly Heartwell, who witnessed her family being tortured and murdered when she was only 7 years old. She becomes a gang member, hellbent on getting revenge on those responsible for the murders on her family. 18 years after the crime, she finally finds a lead.

The plot isn't flawless. The concept of 'family murdered, last survivor wants vengeance' is old. I do think it's executed decently in this story; I like the thought that went into the gang/organized crime affairs.

I personally feel like Lilly has a strong Mary Sue vibe. She's your stereotypical 'I'm ruthless and cold but not really' protagonist. I think the other characters in the story all have more actual personality than Lilly herself, which is good because it means they're developed, but bad because the protagonist is supposed to be among the more interesting characters. I'd recommend putting Lilly through a Mary Sue test to see what's done well and what isn't.

The GPS isn't perfect and the story needs editing there are many grammar mistakes and I've encountered a lot of tense-switching. Editing it will make the story easier ans more pleasant to read, so it might be handy to go back and filter out the mistakes.

What I do like, is the bisexual representation; Lilly heartwell seems to be interested in both men and women, which is nice for a change. There isn't enough bi representation out there.
