As The Snow Fell is about Jacob, a boy who lives in a world where it's always winter and snow never stops falling (Good job, Elsa). When he finds a strange book, an group called the Watchers go after him and he has to try his hardest to survive.

I like the plot of this. Post-apocalyptic winter? That's a new one. I don't think that's been done a lot, so it's very original!

However, I do think you could do more with everything in your world. For example, that paradise where the rich live? It's mentioned, but then it sort of... disappears from the story. That has a lot of potential, and I think you might be planning on using it in the future, but if you weren't considering that, I'd recommend giving it some thought!

There aren't a lot of characters, it's mainly Jacob and his father. In my opinion, they're okay. If you want me to be brutally honest, I'd say they aren't underdeveloped, but not that well developed either.

Character development isn't just personality traits and the like. There's more to it than that. Does Jacob have hobbies? Passions? Phobias? Disorders? You don't have to say, for example, 'Jacob has Arachnophobia' or anything like it, but if he is afraid of spiders, make him see a spider and feel at least mildly uncomfortable. This helps make characters more relatable.

The GPS is good. I can't remember anything about it that really stuck out as a mistake, so good job on that!

To conclude, the book could use some improvement, but what it is right now sure isn't bad either!
