《Book reviews *Requests Closed*》'The Last Philosopher' by NickfEast

The Last Philosopher, written by NickfEast, is a fantasy book with… 105 chapters. I don't even know how I managed to read it in two days. Time is an illusion, everything is a blur.
It's a fantasy book that follows people on the planet Huom, or, more specifically, on the continent Sojurut.
The two main characters are Herschel I. Pensador, who is the last philosopher, and Lyeasrakardsul, a high-ranking sorcerer.
Firstly, Pensador is Spanish for 'thinker' and I can always appreciate well-thought out naming. Well done, my bro. Points for that.
Going back to the story. Herschel escapes from Zig-Zig prison and we follow him on his journey to the east. Lyeasrakardsul, on the other hand, is mainly seen dealing with his sorcerer problems.
Lyeasrakardsul may have problems, but I sure don't see any when it comes to worldbuilding. Everything looks like there was really put some thinking into it, and that's always a pro.
But, here's the thing: we're 100+ chapters in and we still don't see how the stories of Herschel and Lyeasrakardsul intertwine. Aside from being set in the same universe, it looks like they are completely different stories. Perhaps it's a thing for future chapters, but damn, dude, you're taking a long time.
The characters are all great and unique, I don't have anything to fault them on right now.
GPS? Well, the spelling and vocabulary is top notch. I've barely seen misspelled words.
However, some sentences sound awkward and clunky. I've also seen quite a few misplaced/missing commas.
It might be a good idea to really do some editing, not because it's bad like this, but because it would improve the overall experience. You fix the tiny issues, you've got gold on your hands.
If you've got a lot of time on your hands and enjoy fantasy, go read this.

Raak
James was in his 30's when his death came suddenly, not that he minded much, as life was seeming to drag on. His story, however, did not end with his death. As a point of fact, it had only just begun. This will be my first work, so please by all means comment with any errors I may have made. Suggestions for the story (which may or may not be used). This is a litrpg and a bit of a power fantasy, so be warned the protagonist will be pretty OP eventually.
