The book 'New reality' is written by hallucinalien and it's about Codi, a girl who lives with her two half-sisters, her mother and her abusive stepfather. One day, she decides to hitchhike to Seattle to delve into its music scene in the hopes of creating a better future for her and her sisters.

First things first: when writing an abused character, a lot can go wrong. Many of these abused characters (there are a lot of abused protagonists on wattpad, believe me) tend to have a little too much self-pity, which quickly makes them annoying.

I didn't find Codi to be annoying. You know why? Because she actively tries to change her life, and not only her own, but also the lives of her sisters. That shows a good character right there. The other characters are very good too, very diverse. I do think the relationship between Jack and Codi is going a little fast (but they acknowledge that, so it's okay).

I spotted a few misplaced commas in the first chapters, but I didn't see that in the later chapters. Well done on the GPS!

This story is a very nice read!
