《Book reviews *Requests Closed*》#6: 'The Runestone Guardians book 1: secrets of Sølvefalske' by wolfeea12

This story is written by wolfeea12, and it's great. I love it. Expect me to be really positive about it.

This is a fantasy story inspired by Norse mythology (I'm a big mythology fan so that makes it even better). The main character is Ylvana. She is the Wolf Princess, chosen by Skoll to end the war between the two kingdoms in the 10th realm, Sølvefalske and the Sutherlands. She is helped by, for example, Miria, crown princess if Sølvefalske and Jay, the son of king Argo Fenrir from the Sutherlands.

You know what? This story's complex. Just go and read that incredibly long description.

The characters are likeable and well written in my opinion, and the grammar/vocabulary is great too. There were some mistakes (like getting their, they're and there mixed up), but these mistakes become less frequent the further we come in the story.

Same goes for switching between tenses: the story is written in present tense, but sometimes our dear author accidentally slips up and starts writing past tense. But, this also happens less when the story progresses. (

^ you know when there are book reviewers who are like "yeah lol I'll read two chapters of your book and write a 50 word review and expect you to vote for all my books and follow me in exchange!"?

I exaggerated, but you get my point.

I'm trying to say, if you're a person who might want to make their own review book someday: please read the entire book. Writing improves. Writing styles change. The mistakes made in chapter four will probably not be made in chapter 14 because We learn from our mistakes.

^Just some advice to everyone.

The only possibly turn off for this book are fantasy clichés: kingdoms at war, the Chosen One, shapeshifters.... all been done before. I do think that the mythology gives something unique to the story, so that helps. Just remember that general, 'overused' story lots need that little extra. (You succeeded in giving your story that, in my opinion)

Now, where is my sequel?
