《Endangered》29.) Dream

I looked at him right in the eyes, feeling courageous for once. "Dorian. I'm just going to get straight to the point. I think we need some time apart from each other."
"Your thinking about leaving?!" He exclaimed, more in panic than in anger.
"How can I not when you were with Tilda. Every time I look at you, I'm reminded of your betrayal. Also everything with Cheryl and your baby, the secrets, and you almost attacked my mother for crying out loud."
He stepped forward grabbing my arm. "You're not leaving with my babies." His eyes clouded over giving me a peak of his lycan side.
I shoved him away. "I'm either staying here or at the house. I would never put myself or the babies in danger like that. As for you, you can stay somewhere else."
"We already talked about this earlier! Why all of a sudden are you changing things?!"
"Me changing things?! You're the one that cheated! Fucking Tilda knowing we are having a baby that turned out to be two more! You are the one fucking shit up!" My anger was spiking, never have I been so angry before.
"You don't understand! If you were in my position you'd do the same thing!"
"No, I wouldn't," I exclaimed shaking my head.
He scoffed. "This is what Tilda told me would happen."
"What, you took her advice cause you don't have the balls to take charge yourself?"
He looked at me sharply. "She told me you'd be needy, wanting me to be here, guiding you through everything cause you're weak!"
That hurt.
"You are a fucking asshole." Marcus, Magnus, Roman, and Axel were in the house now even Tilda who was standing more outside the door than in. "As much as I'd like to blame Tilda, I can't. Cause you're the one that went through with your actions."
"Why can't you just let it go? It was one night!"
"Cause I love you! More than you'll ever know. You may say it's one night but what happens if you get bored or if you want more children, just not with me? You'll do it again if it means there'll be pups in the end. You played me, you broke my heart, and now I've had enough of it."
"As long as the babies are all right." He said as if that excused his actions.
I went up to him, punching him in the face. "Is that better! Does that show you that me and the babies are fine, that I'm not weak! Well, fuck you, Dorian!"

He narrowed his eyes at me. His lip was bleeding a little bit. "What am I suppose to do?" He asked throwing his hands in the air.
"Go to your other lovers, keep secrets, kill half-shifters, rot in hell for all I care! Just get the fuck away from me!"
The guys started to escort Dorian out of the house. "What are you all doing? I'm not going anywhere."
"You heard her. Flora's never been that mad before. You're the source of her stress right now and that's not good for her, so you will leave. You can stay on the property just not within a mile of here. It's a big piece of land, I'm sure you'll be fine."
Dorian left, angry at himself for picking such women that were more hassles than benefitted him. He cursed the moon and whoever ruled up in the heavens. The fates had brought him to a woman that infuriated him now than ever before.
His threat would be one he'd regret.
I watched Dorian leave feeling not much better than before.
It had been a full day with no incidents. Since Dorian left, all I did was distract myself. I was being hunted and that thought in itself made me want to forget.
I was thankful towards the packs that came to visit me. Even my mother surprised me with an unexpected visit. Our experience was one that brought us together.
She gave me a hug then put her hand on my shoulder. That little touch already told me that she was going to tell me something. "You said Dorian lost a son and never told you his past history with his family right?"
"Yes," I answered, wondering where this would go.
"Perhaps he was so careless when he first woke up because he just wanted a family. Not thinking of the consequences of his actions. Maybe something bad happened, inhibiting him from connecting with you."
"Momma, you know I love you, but now is not the time to excuse everything that he's done."
She pointed at me giving a scolding look. "That's the grudge part of you talking. Everything he's done has been for you. He's made mistakes, he knows that now, but eventually you two are going to have to reach some sort of level ground, for the babies." My mother was the more logical side when it came to thinking.
"I know." I looked down at my huge stomach filled with my precious babies. I put my palms on my stomach looking at it slightly move. They were moving, practically having a house party these past few days.

"I know what'll cheer you up. How about we throw you a baby shower. You can leave the planning to me and those three ladies that are so delightful to be around."
Her enthusiasm made me smile. "You really want to do that?"
"Of course, after these babies, that'll probably be it for you." We laughed together. Then she placed her hands on mine capturing my attention. "So your brother called me this morning."
"And?" I didn't know what to expect, Aiden never tried to contact anyone before.
"He's been in rehab, getting better."
The surprised look on my face made her laugh at my expression. My brother was in rehab. So he did listen. All I could offer her was a big smile. "So, he's doing fine?"
"Yes, he is. Aiden wanted me to tell you that he'll be coming to the baby shower as well." I gave her a questioning look. She barely pitched me the idea of the baby shower only seconds ago. "I sort of already told people about the baby shower before telling you, but it's all working out, coming together."
"I'm glad, truly."
"He's getting better, honey. That's all we can ask for." We ended our conversation with a hug. Her visit was short but interesting none the less.
I yawned already feeling worn out. The babies were taking away all of my energy, draining me. So I simply laid down and slept. My body relaxed as if I was floating in water.
I was lying in bed awake but too lazy to open my eyes. This was the most comfortable I felt in a long time. Strong arms wrapped around my body pulling me closer. I felt lips grazing the tip of my ear. His hot breath was felt by the side of my face then he went to my neck.
'Goodmorning baby.' He kissed my neck, sucking the skin. Dorian stopped his movements when a shrill cry echoed throughout the house. 'I'll be back.' I opened my eyes finally seeing his gorgeous grey eyes staring back at me. He tried to kiss me but I pulled away.
'I haven't brushed my teeth yet.'
He smiled, 'you know I don't care about that.' Another set of shrill cries came out. He got out of bed jogging to the other room. I got an eyeful of his shirtless body on display. His tattoos made him look even sexier.
The cries got quiet then he appeared in the doorway with two babies in his arms, they were moving around their small legs. He bent down handing me both of them. I looked at both of my boys cooing to them, seeing them return smiles while kicking their legs and arms around excitedly.
Out of nowhere, Dorian stole a kiss from me. I looked at him shocked. 'You were trapped with both of them in your arms.' I shook my head at him smiling as he backed out of the room, blowing me a kiss.
I looked down at my babies who were crawling on the blankets and all over me. They pulled my hair lightly and tried putting my finger in their mouth. Dorian came back in with the smallest baby of all. She was screaming her lungs off.
I held my hands out to him, 'give her to me Dorian.' He kissed her forehead then handed my baby girl to me. She started to settle down her cries until one of her brothers hit her foot with his hand. Dorian was scolding him, telling him to kiss his sister.
He just looked at us, but his eldest brother put his hands on my arm and kissed her nose. She moved her hands to wipe the saliva off of her face. Her troublemaker brother then copied his brother's action kissing her on the same spot on her nose. She began to cry again.
Dorian and I laughed at our babies. Dorian sat down next to me gathering the boys up in his arms as we stared at our beautiful baby girl gurgle at us all watching her.
The image of all of us faded away, waking me from my slumber. I groaned fluttering my eyelids then reminisced about my dream, if only. I felt a slight kick drawing my attention to my hands resting on my stomach where I felt the kick.
In my other hand was one of Dorian's shirts. One that I didn't even know I had. Were my babies trying to communicate to me through a dream?
"I'm sorry, babies. Some things just aren't meant to be."

I probably got inspired by like all of the mythos stories that have been popping up on here. It's in a VERY rough form because I've just been getting back into writing. I've written like fifty thousand words already so I guess have fun.
